For root, the same as in all B8xx versions, search in forum.
Root from Recovery by SuperSu and use busybox and terminal emulator to remove set_emutable file.

how to get or where get stock recovery for B830?

My P7-L10 with b830 is rootet.
Its very easy ...
1. Flash b830
2. flash twrp (newest Version)
3. go into recovery and set system as RW and not only read. (You will see a question about this @start of recovery)
4. push restart, restart system
5. you see a question about flash su...push yes.
6. delete set_immutable (See forum)
If your bootloader is locked. The easyst way (i think) is to downgrade and flash a unlocked bootloader with ADB (See forum).
I think its very simple @ this time..

Multi-tasking issue

I have a Lenovo a7000 and it is rooted and has Android 6.0 marshmallow and I tried to edit the build.prop code on this ro.build.type=user and changed "user" to "user debug " and I got the multi-tasking option on the developer setting . The problem Is when I click the recent apps button to get to the multi-tasking feature this what appears

Not yet . I guess it is impossible to tweak Lenovo's heavy skin .

Hi. I had same prob but I have a "solution". U go to system/priv-app/SystemUI and copy SystemUI.apk to your PC. Install 7zip extracting software. Then right click SystemUI.apk and choose open archive (or somethin similar option). Then go res/drawable-hdpi-v4/ and search two image files. The names of images are recent_lock_app and recent_unlock_app. Copy these two image to another folder on ur PC and edit their resolution to 1x1. If you ending the edit, copy back the edited files to res/drwaable-hdpi-v4/. Finally you copy back the "modded" SystemUI.apk to system/priv-app/SystemUI and overwrite the file, then install it. I suggest you reboot your device.

Never edit build.prop without backup first,, its rule for tweak a device

There are only two types of dual SIM firmware. Hong Kong and Taiwan versions... I'm so sad that I can't modify the EFS access and build prop:crying:

You have root already, than you can use root explorer to edit build.prop.
May be the problem is not much app support android 10.
For ADB, I have no idea.

I am having a hard time because I cannot access Qualcommport for efs file patch. I don't know what command I need or if Sony blocking access from the kernel.:crying:

you can try flashing the firmware for the XQ-AT51:

although no one has confirmed if this works or not.

Korea is a non-released product, so volte activation is not possible regardless of firmware. Qualcomm Diagnostic Port is required. efs file can be replaced. :crying:

Question Razor disappeared - help!

Guys I've a x60pp china... stuck to china 1.17.x with a mix of flashed partitions inside (switched to Funtouch then manually back to china)... at the moment any FULL OTA does not work showing this error: assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions (package_extract_file('dynamic_partitions_op_list))...
The phone boot up and works, anyway sensors are not properly working (e.g.: autobrightness, moviment) maybe because of some messed-up partitions.
@razor07b7 is disappeared and unluckly his flashing-tool seems my only chance to gey a 100% china rom regresh and fix all the rest (sensors).
Basically I need a FULL China restore that seems impossible to do manually via flashing each single partition from the 2 available China ROM on the web. Maybe the flashing procedure I'm using is not completed or wrong.
Any idea to get a FULL china roll-back?

why u need to query vivo? the flasher should be able to unlock the bl by itself... do you know hoe I could reach sebastian?

This is normal if you stay with OriginOS Ocean... vivo has pathed the fw to avoid BL unlock...
To use the razor tool again you should downgrade the phone to OriginOS with the vivo official tool

i'm finding about method rollback to stock originOS ! Maybe New patch of OriginOs Ocean block BL

where is Razor? he is the only can help the both of us.

So i wanted to changed the rom, and Xiaomi Flash Tool crashed, it hardbricked the phone.
After 1 weeks of trying to repair the phone, i did it but the IMEI code was deleted.

bro always BACKUP the stock rom before doing anything with mtk client so when something happen u can always back to the original
try to look for someone who has a full backup of the rom and download it

Update : I try with usb but now it stuck on Connect to MD

After a "modeswitch" most probably the device will connect as a different USB device which will need a driver. It takes some time and often needs manual installation when this happens. Check the device manager for the newly appeared unknown device and check the driver...
