Ooops.
Leave the phone off, connect it in fastboot mode (I know you said it did not work, but that might just be the LED, please try it again) and then run this

to sash89: you unlocked bootloader, and flashed an cm img kernel? that let me comes to another question. you flashed that kernel above a stock rom, or you flashed CM ROM also?
Hi
The Z1 is great, I recommend it.
Yes, it does help if people try things you suggest.

yes, open up a command window where you have adb and fastboot installed on your PC.
If you do not have them installed then download and install this
minimal_adb_fastboot_v1.1.3_setup.exe - 2.12 MB

By definition a hard brick is not recoverable.
OK, try this.
Code:
adb devices
and tell me what that says.
Also, download and install flashtool from the first thread in the dev section. Open the driver folder from the installation path and run drivers.exe. Choose flashmode, fastboot and TX drivers.
Then run flashtool and attach the phone, disconnect and try attaching in flashmode, disconnect and try to attach in fastboot. Then copy and paste the output from flashtool here.
One final thing, try to attach again in flashmode but this time do this.
Press and hold volume up, attach USB cable, keep pressing volume up and now press the power button. Hold both buttons for 10 seconds or until the green LED comes on. Tell me what happens.

So I was going through the rooting process for the second time on my ATT Moto X and while in bootloader flashing 4.2.2 something went wrong and it wasn't fully flashed. There was no error, it just said "Done" on bootloader. So I restarted the phone and ever since then the phone has had a black screen, although when I plug it into my computer it recognizes it. With that said, I've tried to use RSD Lite but it just fails to put it into fastboot mode, and it does not come up under either fastboot devices or adb devices.
Not sure what else I could do from here. Holding the power button and volume down button to get into bootloader doesn't work either. Does anyone here have any ideas?

Can you clarify a few things?
First, have you been on 4.2.2 this entire time, or were you attempting to 'downgrade'?
Next, when you "turn on" the device, you say it has a black screen...does it light up at all, or vibrate?
And third, when you say the device is 'recognized' by the PC, how is it recognized? When you go to Device Manager, do you see a listing for "qhsusb_bulk"? If not, what is the device listed as?
Sorry I didn't specify those things in the original post, but I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
I was originally on 4.4 and was in the process of downgrading to 4.2.2 post-camera.
The phone does not light up or vibrate or anything, but I can hear it connect on my computer. Not that this is the computer making the sound, not the phone.
And third, my phone comes up as a listing on RSD Lite v6.5.1. It does not provide any information, it just says it is connected. My device is listed as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)"

OK, I understand. There may be hope for you but it will require patience and exacting precision. Don't get your hopes up TOO much, but I will attempt to help you.
Normally, it is NOT possible to downgrade, but (thankfully) 4.4 > 4.2.2 Post-Camera is the one exception.
First, I realize that RSD Lite shows "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)", but I need you to open Device Manager and tell me what it says in there. If you aren't familiar with how to get there, simply press the start button, and type 'device manager' (without quotes, of course). It should show up under "Control Panel", assuming you are on Windows 7.
Also, tell me for sure which version of Windows your PC is running.
Then we can proceed further.
"Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM4)" is from Device Manager. RSDLite simply lists the model as "QHSUB_DLOAD"
I am running Windows 8.1 64bit

Ah, OK. This is good news.... "QHUSB_DLOAD"
Basically, you have somehow corrupted your bootloader.
Please reference this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49876179&postcount=1
If you follow the instructions exactly, we should be able to force your phone into fastboot mode. From there, we can manually flash back to 4.4
Remember, there are no guarantees with this, and I don't even know if it has been attempted or is possible in Windows 8. So if you aren't successful, get your hands on a Windows 7 PC, and try again.
If you get stuck, post back here and I will attempt to help.
Sweet man, I really appreciate your help. I'll try all of that and report back here when done. Thank you again.

I think I've completely bricked my HTC One, I accidentally deleted the ROM and now all I'm left with is the Bootloader. I've tried numerous USB cables and none of them seem to detect my phone when doing the adb thing, before I bricked the phone I don't think I enabled USB Debugging either .
Is there any way I can try and unbrick it?

adb commands wont work whilst your in the bootloader, you need to use fastboot commands.
if you can get into the bootloader then your not bricked, bricked is when the phone wont switcxh on at all.
read up on how to post your fastboot getavr all, once you get it, post it here WITHOUT imei and serial number, and we will be able to help you much better get your phone back up and running.
here is a good place to start for adb and fastboot files and drivers, it doesn't get any easier than this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
also, USB debugging is only required when booted into a rom and has nothing to do with recovery or the bootloader.

that's the problem then, go to the HTC site and download HTC Sync manager and install it, once its installed, goto add/remove programs and remove HTC sync only, you should see just above that, HTC driver installer, leave that one there.
when you plug your phone into the computer, you should then see it load the drivers, fastboot should work then.

try a different PC, and does bootloader change from FASTBOOT to FASTBOOT USB when you connect it to the PC?
I accidentally deleted my phone OS using TWRP.
So, I fixed this and installed stock android firmware for my device and locked the bootloader.
It was all set up nicely. Then, I decided to update to the latest android version and now it showed the updating logo and everything and the screen suddenly went black and it won't show anything.
I have tried holding power and volume down for 2 minutes but have had no luck.
I have tried charging with many USB cables.
When I plug a USB cable into my phone and computer, I get the error message "USB Device Not Recognized".
Please help me fix this error and help me to get my phone working again, thank you in advance.
You broke the bootloader, this can be solved if Moto releases the blankflash files, however motorola has no idea in releasing those files. get some other mobile, no other alternatives as of now.

Probably i had a similar problem.
Does your phone screen stays dark and the phone vibrates shortly each 20 sec? And you don't see any device when connect to PC over USB?
In my case when i held VOL+ and VOL- for a long time, the phone attached to PC shortly for programming.
I followed this manual
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/x7-max-and-gt-neo-flash-ubrick-instructions.4337339/
and ONLY A15 firmware worked for me! But i had to uncheck boxes in SP FlashTools from:
opporeserve2
cdt_engineering
md1mg
After that flashing was successful.

Did you try some of the guides provided? It is not that hard to set up the drivers to can bypass the SLAA/DAA restriction, also you have other forum explaining how it works https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/mod-dev-mediatek-mtk-auth-bypass-sla-daa-utility.4232377/ there are various sites speaking about it, you have to keep it trying.
Can you enter to recovery, or fastboot mode? (this is done through stock recovery), I know you can't turn on the device, so you're bricked, but you have to try other modes, this will give you the certainty that device is not totally bricked, but only display is not showing a thing? When you try the various modes available, check on device manager from Windows, to see if the device is detected properly, open it in a part of your screen while you are trying.

But what you have from the device?, some advice/warning. What you can do and what not? If the device shows some signal of life, and it is recognized for your PC, then you shouldn't replace it.
You just have to step in every of the ways.
