Editing OTA Update Package

is there anybody by any chance can help me to edit the marshmallow ota update package i captured so i can flash in custom recovery without getting any error message?
or teach me how to make it done so i can do it myself.

That was a sprout8.
You no need to edit ota zip, instead get universal ota sprout8 zip , flash it!

i have to download sprout_b right?
what does universal mean? does it mean someone had edited the file or original zip from google?

thx it worked with i don't know some errors showed up on philz recovery though but android has been updated to MOB30G.

G920A PG1 ROM update - sideload?

Thanks to JUSTMEJOSE we have a new Odin image for PF1.
Now just looking for PG1 zip file to sideload.
Can anyone provide this?

i downloaded the file and place it on my adb folder and i also copied the exact name of the file i did shift right click and went into command i put
adb sideload G890AUCU4CPF1_MM or G890AUCU4CPF1_MM.zip but i kept getting cannot read what am i doing wrong?

okay so used odin and flashed it on and got a final pass successful but its stuck on the boot logo

boot might take 5-10 minutes i noticed that on my side ...

hello! i want to add mode language at this firmware....

The zip file I downloaded from the link ended up being an G890AUCU4CPF1_MM.zip file. I try to flash a couple of times, and was getting a Secure check fail : (PIT) error. I was not paying attention at first then I took a second look and realized it was not the correct file.

File just finished downloading and its titled G920AUCS4CPF1_MM.zip. Seems to be the correct one now. I'm going to give it a go.

Everything seems to be working just fine. Performance is excellent, signal is great. Battery life is better than it was on Lollipop.

For this people who can't update via OTA.

This are ADB sideloads files.
G920AUCS6DQC1 to U6EQCF - Official Nougat 7.0 update with April 1 security.
Also if someone is on unoficial U5EQB8 Nougat i have file U5EQB8 to U6EQCF

there is so many things could be wrong, PC, cable, phone, adb installed twice , PC not able to read larger files in CMD.. search google for answers. There is to early to get ODIN files for 7.0 for S6. You need to wait week or so.

BTW i will not look for any more any files for S6 since people do not even care to click "Thank You" . I will not waste my time for something i'm not even appreciated for. I DON'T have S6 so i have no idea why i'm doing this. BYE

Nop. First u have to update via odin to qc1 firnwRe then the last adb. Odin nougat file not released yet

I installed the unofficial build a while back, but it says I'm on 'U5EQA8' not 'U5EQB8'. Can I sideload the update here or should I just format and upgrade w odin

You need to odin to EQC1 then update to official by adb sideload.

Im done with below, but when I login to samsung account error appear "invalid id or pass".. But I can login thru web.
This is because nougat won't need gmail to login? My phone reactivation is currently on.
When i finished the update, then it will go to welcome screen-login wifi-samsung account.. no more gmail login page. Please help
