as mentioned :
-HTC_Europe MID:
enter the following:
adb shell
su (if needed to get a # prompt)
echo -ne '\x50\x00\x4e\x00\x30\x00\x37\x00\x31\x00\x30\x00\x30\x00\x30\x00\x30' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 bs=1 seek=16384
exit
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot getvar mid (or getvar all)
verify PN0710000 for modelid
fastboot reboot

and is it significant to follow upgrade sequence (e.g from 5 to 7 ) do i need to flash 6 or not ? i'm on 5.03.651.3
what are the correct steps to upgrade & to change to UL ?

You cannot change a Sprint device to UL the partitions are different.
You can however flash any rom that has Sprint support.

fw upgrade help

hy guys I'm a little confused reading all this guides, so please help me
i want to flash newest firmware on my m7
is this correct procedure?
---------------------------------------------
Re-lock your bootloader
Boot your device in fastboot mode
Type: fastboot oem lock
Type: fastboot oem rebootRUU and wait for device to reboot
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete
Type: fastboot reboot
-----------------------------------------------
so I don't need s-off to update firmware?
should i make s-off before updating latest fw? because I'm on hboot 1.54? and I can only do that using rumrunner?
tnx

how about you post a "fastboot getvar all" (without IMEI and s/n); the above info doesn't say much.

yes ruu (you mentioned) has hboot 1.44, but if you are s-off, then you are able to downgrade (you may need to downgrade hboot first)
but without a "fastboot getvar all" (removing IMEI and s/n), i can't say if that ruu is for your phone or not

as mentioned by @alray, remove IMEI and s/n
change MID using: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2535365 to PN0711000 <- consistent with M7_U
change CID to HTC__J15:
fastboot oem writecid HTC__J15 <- consistent with WWE GCC (which is what I assume you want)
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip <- yes twice, make sure it's successful
fastboot reboot-bootloader
i know a RUU.EXE (downgrade) will fail with hboot 1.55+ but not sure about fastboot ruu mode zip flash, it will probably work just fine (i think). (first flash should downgrade hboot and say "flush again immediately", second flash should downgrade everything)
IF above flash zip gives error then downgrade hboot first:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip
fastboot flash zip 1.29.401.12_hboot_1.44.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
then flash ruu.zip
stay s-off

why did you censored modelid? we need that info. only censor IMEI and serialno. Your device is s-off so you can use this decrypted ruu.zip here, you have to flash it in ruu mode.
Sorry about that.

Make sure your ruu.zip is in the adb/fastboot folder
reboot phone to bootloader, select fastboot then connect usb cable
open a cmd prompt from your adb/fastboot folder
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
your phone will reboot in ruu mode, you will see a black screen with HTC logo
Code:
fastboot flash zip <name_of_your_ruu_file>.zip
fastboot flash zip <name_of_your_ruu_file>.zip <------- yes, again!
fastboot reboot-bootloader
done
Thank you:d

Am I bricked?

So I wanted to restock and relock my phone, and was following a terrible guide. Here's what I did.
I flashed boot.img via fastboot, I relocked the bootloader, Then flashed the zip. I'm Bootlooping now.
I didn't know that verizon stopped the allowing of unlocking bootloaders so I can seem to flash anything else
via fastboot.
Am I screwed?

You have s-off so there is no problem unlocking the bootloader again. Locking it wasn't needed btw.
To unlock your bootloader again flash this attached zip in ruu mode, this will flash twrp for verizon on your phone:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip j0eh4x.zip
fastboot flash zip j0eh4x.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Then boot in twrp recovery and go in the terminal. Use this command to unlock your bootloader:
Code:
adb shell
su
echo -ne "HTCU" | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=33796
So now you should have an unlocked bootloader with twrp recovery installed, ready to flash a rom.
Or since your phone is s-off, you can simply skip what said above and flash any Verizon RUU youd like.

How do you change the CID?

I am trying to update my firmware so that I can get the new Viperone 9.0.0 rom. I keep getting the error when I try to flash it 41 Wrong Model ID
I researched the error and I have to rename my CID. I rooted and s-off my phone via the Hasoon2000 tool. There was a command that seems automatic which reads rename CID. I select it, a prompt appears asking me to input the CID I want. As a test I type in 3 random numbers and press Ok, then I get the error Invalid CID. What should I type in?

fw_7.19.401.51-NoRed_NoWipe

I posted on the Viperone 9.0.0 section here at xda and someone said that the first one above should be fine. I used Hasoon2000s tool to change my CID, did I do that correctly or have I botched it and should change it to something else? Or do I need another firmware? Im not sure which one exactly is suitable for Viperone 9.0.0 if I can install a later one or if I need a specific one. I believe I just have to flash the firmware first and then go into Recovery and extract the Viper 9.0 zip file and that should be it right?

Change your phone MID to PN0710000
Code:
adb shell
su
echo -ne '\x50\x00\x4e\x00\x30\x00\x37\x00\x31\x00\x30\x00\x30\x00\x30\x00\x30' | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 bs=1 seek=16384
exit
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip fw_7.19.401.51-NoRed_NoWipe
fastboot flash zip fw_7.19.401.51-NoRed_NoWipe
fastboot reboot-bootloader
or change the MID listed in the android-info.txt file inside the fimrware.zip to to PN0714000

going back to stock, which RUU to use?

Hello, i own a HTC M7 that i converted to GPE from Sense (Vodafone UK). I am on latest version of Lollipop, but i want to return to Sense because i want the extreme power saving mode.
Original CID was VODAP001.
I was wondering which RUU to use to go back to Sense? i was wondering if this was good (http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-161-1-zip/), because it's a lower version of Android (not Lollipop) and i don't know if it will brick my phone or something. Thanks!

answered you in the other thread but I'll explain here more in details:
1-Change back your CID to VODAP001:
Code:
fastboot oem writecid VODAP001
fastboot reboot-bootloader
And confirm your CID is now VODAP001:
Code:
fastboot oem readcid
2-Flash your firmware(file attached) to update your hboot (you can't flash a lollipop RUU with hboot 1.54):
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Check that you have now hboot 1.61 and version-main: 7.18.161.2
Code:
fastboot getvar all
3-If yes you can now flash any 7.xx.161.x RUU from the RUU collection thread:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
htc_fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot reboot
