Hi guys
I just installed facebook from android market, but when i try to check-in, the application can't identify my location. Neither can't add a new location.
If i use the browser, it works.
I have gps on, and in location & security : use wireless networks , use gps satellites, gps source internal.
any solutions?
lalalala...up
does this feature work for you guys?
Hey all,
Tried the board search for a possible solution to my prob, to no avail so far:
I am using a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, GP5110, android 4.0.3.
Fully rooted, avast! security installed as firewall, running in whitelist mode - I rather allow those few application I like internet access and have everything else blocked by default, with the ongoing permission-hunger of most app developers I figured to be better safe than sorry.
My problem: Googles` Maps App is running perfectly fine, however when I try to download any offline maps (settings -> make available offline) it just opens a tab called "My Places", showing my map indicating 0.0MB/0.0MB, download never starts.
I tried whitelisting a number of different system processes - such as was necessary to get the youtube app running - but was not successful identifying the correct ones.
Anybody out there who could help?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Chris
Can you not turn the firewall off , download the maps you want then turn it back on ? I have managed to download offline maps but avast firewall was not on ..... just a thought.
Would probably work, but I'm rather looking for a permanent solution than a workaround... Thanks for your suggestion though!
Go to settings -> Clear all offline maps
Then open Google Play, uninstall Google Maps, then update Google Maps, Restart Device,
Now it works on mine. There should be a notification section called "Downloaded Maps" which tells you the progress, as well as inside Google maps.
Hello,
I just got my new Remix Mini.
I am starting to load apps on it and it wil not install/setup the FSGO application.
I says it needs "you must allow location services to use Foz Sports Go."
I have location on and other apps are using it.
I have no issues with this application on my Samsung S5 phone running 5.x
Please help
thanks in advance

So I just rooted my huawei p9 and installed xposted installer to get the "Fake My GPS" app, but it doesn't seem to be working, google maps still shows me my own location.
Is there any apps out there working, or anyone know what I can do to make this work? Trying to change my GPS location to spy on US facebook ads, using a private proxy doens't seem to be enough
fake gps from the app ninjas in store, instal that app as system app with system app muver from store, need busybox too! (any fake gps aplication need to be instaled as system aplication)
with private mode in app ninjas fake gps, changed name, instaled as system app, remuved root, i even can spoof pokemons go without detection! (just there are trick, how properly remuve root without losing fake gps as system app)
Some people report that Android Auto does not start after connecting their car. I want to share some tips for eveyone, hoping to help guys with this problem.
Troubleshooting:
1. Make sure the car is compatible with Android Auto (To query if the car compatible Android Auto, please check from the website, https://www.android.com/auto/#hit-the-road)
2. Your phone's system version is Android 5.0 or later
3. The Google service framework is pre-installed or installed on your phone. Otherwise, you cannot use Android Auto properly.
4. Make sure the network which you connect to has access to the Google server. You need to log in to your Google ID in Google Play Store to download the app to be used with Android Auto (such as Google Maps, Google browser, Google Play Music, and Google Text-to-speech). Enable all relevant app permissions and make sure that the app, such as Google Maps and Google Assistant, has access to the Google server. Currently, common networks in China do not have direct access to the Google server.
5. Try using a new USB cable.
Here are some tips for finding the best USB cable to use with Android Auto:
1) Use cables less than 6 feet in length and do not use extended cable.
2) Make sure your cable has the USB icon.
If Android Auto has stopped working in your compatible car:
1) Try replacing the USB cable – most problem are solved by this!
