After the Update on the B361 i had a new Problem with my Mate S Phone.
After a Runtime between 24 and 96 hours it is not possible to locate my Location over Mobile Signal and WLAN. The Location Settings are on Battery Saving Mode.
The Huawei Weather Widget, Instagram and Facebook can not reach an Indoor location without GPS. But Twitter has no problems. Before this time the location on Facebook, Instagram and the Huawei Weather Widget will be worked. If i reboot the phone i can use the Network location Service. I didn't know what we will happend in this 24 - 96 hours Runtime that i can didn't use this Network Service. On the Huawei Weather Widget i get the Message "Location Service not found" if i will update the weather widget manually.
Huawei send me a new Phone with the Premium Swap Service. But the Problem will be the same.
Any ideas for help ?

Is there a possibility to force the weather update of the HTC home plugin USING COMMAND LINE instructions?
I created a script that regularly connects to the internet, synchronizes my contacts and email and at that time of connection, I want to force the weather update too.
Any idea how to do this (the same behaviour as when you tap on the bar on the weather-tab)?

So whenever I use any service that uses GPS (Weather Channel, Facebook, Bing Maps, etc.) it initially thinks I am in a town 36 miles from where I am, very near an apartment I used to live in in that town. This is not a big deal in Maps as it quickly corrects its self, but in Facebook or Weather Channel they just take the initial location, so when I go to check in I am shown business near the wrong location and I recieve weather info for the wrong location. Is there a way to fix this? Is it just a defective unit?

I have downloaded the latest Facebook app from the market for my wife to her phone and when I place the widget on a home screen the widget continually says "updating status".
If you tap the widget then it goes straight into facebook and shows all the required info, why doesn't the widget show the quick info on the widget, I have another phone HD2 with android and it continually updates the facebook status of friends.
I've cleared the cache on her phone but still it won't show status' on the widget only when you open it up, does anyone know how to solve this please?

hi . if your wife's phone is a nexus it wont load any no matter what you do. it has something to do with syncing.google dropped support on that on nexus s phones.you also wont be able to sync your facebook contacts to show app in your phone contacts...
Try Friendcaster, way better then the official app..
Hi, I am experiencing a really strange issue with location, On my phone in Google Now the weather displays 'Current location' instead of the city name, I initially thought this was an issue with location reporting on the device itself but I tried searching for the current weather in Chrome on the desktop it displays part of my post code but no city name. If I switch to another google account all is fine on Chrome and it displays my current location correctly which includes displaying the city name when searching for weather.
Another quirk, If I select to temporarily hide private results in Chrome on the desktop it will display my location (including city name) but if I disable private results it again won't display the city. No matter the option it won't work on the phone at all. displaying the page in desktop mode and selecting to hide private results doesn't change it at all.

I'm using P20 Pro CLT-L04, 8.1.0.122 (C792). Just found out that Google Calendar event's location picture won't show up under Schedule display mode, once added an event with a specific location, it shows the location picture for just a couple of seconds, then its gone. Anyone has the same issue? It works perfectly fine on my P10+ phone with Android 8.0, using the same Google login account.
Could anyone help for checking this to see if you have the same issue? Thanks.

All is working fine here. Try to delete cache and data.
Thank u so much. What I found the odd is that as long as I turned the Sync Calendar option off, the location picture stays, once turned that option on, the pictures were gone right away.
Not sure if it's because I used the same Google account on 2 different versions of android phones, one 8.1, another 8.0 which location pics works without issue.
