note 4 n910f - Xposed General

hi all i am having a problem installing xposed on my note 4 it just gets stuck at samsung screen. i have installed wannams release i just dont know what i am doing wrong i am on 6.0.1, any help would be appreciated.

if I were you I'd ask in Wanam's thread so you can get the best answer. When you do provide more details - such as are you running a deodexed ROM (which is my first guess of your difficulty). That's about all the help I can provide as my Samsung device stayed at 4.4.x because at the time, I too, didn't have a deodexed ROM and I had not the guts to try custom ROMming

[Q] Best custom firmware and help with rooting

Hi, sadly I'm a noob and I currently have a samsung galaxy n7000 UK based. I've attached a print screen on the information about my phone.
Previously, I was on the ICS firmware and since the uk version of the JB wasn't released, I updated my phone via Odin to the chinese version of the 4.1.2 JB. Then recently my phone said there was an update for my phone which was in fact the uk version of the JB.
Ever since, my phone is running quite slow and I have formatted it to see if it made a difference. The difference is slight.
Now I've decided I want to install a custom rom as I heard some of them would make my phone perform smoother, faster and also more battery-friendly.
Can someone give me a recommendation on which custom rom I should choose and give me a link that gives me instructions on how to root my specific firmware as I can't find any that mention XXLT3.
Please help?

We don't do best rom threads on xda, it's just a case of try them all til you're happy.
As for rooting, you may have to downgrade your rom to one that has a phillz kernel for it.

[Q] Any custom ROM for GT-I8200N?

Hello there,
I'm looking for a custom ROM for my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition GT-I8200N, but I'm unable to find one. Most "hits" refer to the "regular" S3 mini GT-I8190. My device is unfortunately not supported by Cyanogen.
I have already rooted my phone.
So are there any custom ROMs for my device?
Greetings
Kukris

Hi Fearless,
the ROM is working on my device. Thank you for providing. One problem is that the language cannot switch by 100 % from Spanish to German.
But more important is that it installs GAPPS as well. Could you provide a ROM without GAPPS? That would be great!
Best regards,
Richard
For anyone who might stumble upon this thread. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Value Edition (GT-I8200N). I tried flashing the Nougat ROM downloaded from MEGA. It worked fine. However my main goal was to get at least Android 5 on this device. After flashing the ROM the Android version of the phone in the settings app was indeed Android 7. However when I tried to install any apk destined for Android 5 or above the installation failed. After checking the API level with the ADB tools the output was API level 17 or Android 4.2.2. In conclusion if you just want look and feel of Nougat version then it SHOULD be fine. However if you want to install apps for Android 5 or higher you are in a bad luck I'm afraid.

Dual booting on Note 4 question

I'm looking at dual booting for my note 4. I found the written guides and the video guides but I'm a little confused. I want to keep the official samsung lollipop rom but have an option to boot into another rom. But some of the threads say that to dual boot on a note 4 I need to dual boot with a TW based rom and it would need to be the primary in order for it work.
Before I start this I want to be sure that I can keep the office rom. Thanks for the help
come on guys, those who are dual booting please answer
This has already been tackled.
Check the end of this thread.

I saw those 2 threads but I wanted to be sure that official lollipop rom would not be wiped. Second question I have is, can I run custom non-cyangenmod rom? If there was a custom rom for note 4 that was like stock lollipop with no customization will that rom work?

Which version to install for Samsung Galaxy S4 on 5.0.1 rooted stock rom?

Hi,
The default build thread seems to save there is a boot loop problem with Samsung stock rom. Then there is a thread for 5.1.1 which some users say won't work for 5.0.1.
Which one should I install on Galaxy S4 with rooted 5.0.1 stock rom?
Thanks
Yes there's a thread for Samsung 5.1.1, but did you know that if you bothered to look, you would find that there's another thread that's called [UNOFFICIAL] Xposed for Samsung Lollipop by arter97. If the one for 5.1.1 doesn't work for 5.0 then maybe, just maybe try the other thread?
I was hoping there is someone knows what to do. Trying different installer means bootloop and re-flash for me.
You need to have a deodexed ROM for arter97's version to work. It says so right in the first post.

If you uggrade to 6.0.1 official marshmallow stock the xposed will work with root. You won't brick your device until you know what you are doing.just make backup rom and save soomewhere safe like your pc and microsd card and you can go back where you ware if anything goes wrong.
