Did anyone know how to change the kernel bootsplash on MM 6.0.1 stock, because when I unpacked the modified stock kernel that I made with Tobias's Tool, replace the "logo.rle" in the "initrd" file, repacked back into new "Boot.img" and flashed, my phone still revert back to the old bootsplash (Eyesore-white colour Sony). It's still on stock bootsplash, did anyone knows why?

How do i go back to the stock kernel? I am on intersect's right now
Flash boot.img from any of the stock ROMs. Example - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614850
Just the boot image only? Can I do it via recovery?
Yes, just the boot.img if you want stock kernel. I don't think you can do it via recovery, unless someone has packaged only the kernel in update.zip format.
Does a stock rom one package install for odin have stock kernell inside + system or does my kernell stay and I just flash the system?
Stock rom one packages always have stock kernels, so you will need to flash the kernel again.
Now I know what I wanted to know THX again
hi everyone,
i used to have cyanogen mod 10 (4.2.1)
then i decided i want to get back to the stock rom 2.3.6 , so i tried to install a stock ROM GB for I9000 that i found somewhere online via Odin
the problem is that the device is now in boot loop.
my question is what should i DO?! to get it out from it
P.S
i found that there R many stock roms in the same versions to the same device but the difference between them is the name of the file, like:
I9000XWJVH
I9000JIJVG
I9000XFJVA
What is the difference ?!?!?
Thankyou...

flash that in odin, then http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1570488 flash that and you'll be on stock 2.3.6
when flashing the first one, make sure to check the 'bootloader update' checkbox in odin.
the problem you're having is that ics/jb, gingerbread, froyo etc have different bootloaders, which use different partition layouts, so when you tried to go back to stock, you still had the ics/jb bootloader, which couldn't find the partitions to mount them, hence the bootloop.
Thanks man
Anyway to go back to stock without computer or wiping, I have the 920T stock rom with skyhigh 3.3 kernel.
Are you asking about the stock rom? Kernel? For rom you'll need to flash the stock image from sammobile for your variant
No I have the stock rom I need a non rooted kernel to undo root.

In that case you could extract the boot.img from the stock image downloaded from sammobile or wherever, convert it to .tar and flash it through odin. There is tons of information on how to convert img to tar
I know there is OC1 and NC2 kernel that can be flashed with Safestrap. I'm looking for OC3 flashable kernel.
Anyone got it or know how to make it?
I took the OC1 Kernel Flashable zip and extracted the boot img that was in the sd card folder and replaced it with the one from OC 3 AP File, zipped it back up.
Used the NC2 Flasher and flashed it with Safedtrap 3.75. Safestrap DID not say it was OC3, but NL1. Phone INFO says it's OC3 Bootloader.
