Anyone try this yet? Dont have the time to try my self at the moment...
I am under the impression it is the one that's hacked to work on any ICS device, so no go for me.
Well I thought this works for gingerbread no go either for me

I got it to load ( pushed it to /system/app ) but it won't load any web pages, just gives me a blank screen.

I don't understand what's 'hacked' about this
There is no way for Chrome to work on our device. No ICS kernel = no hardware acceleration.
I don't know where to post this. Does anyone know how to do this on any Android phone. I just want to extract the icon so I can use it with other launchers. TIA

Are you sure it's available for att already and in the store? I'm searching online and there isn't anything about that and att website isn't showing the phone at all. Hopefully I'm wrong because I really want to check it out

Tried, does not work. Got errors.
I did the original post for the above mentioned thread. I don't know why you are getting errors. It works for me. I've been streaming my Xbox live thru it for 4-5 days. Seems to be working for me.

sqlite database editor...
I used root explorer for this the pics pretty much say it all
Go to system/etc and open up with text editor the com.lge.splitwindow.default.apps.xml
Now look for the google apps it will say gms
Now you need to know the packagename of the app you want to add has you can see in the pic I added my cache app and facebook. My app packagename is com.DFUSE.gflexcachewiper.com,but for this you need to leave off the .com. Save and the reboot
Then BOOM added your apps
Brilliant mate. I think tomorrow is going to be an XML reading day to see if what else we can add to the q-shiz.

Awesome! There's also a line in build.prop about adding all apps type multi window set to false. I changed to true and made several other changes and got a boorloop...do not sure if it worked or not. Haven't tried yet again because dont have time for a loop this weekend

If you scroll down on the xml file you will find this:
Code:
<!-- 3rd Party -->
thats maybe a better place to add 3rd party apps also you find there outcomment apps like facebook. Simple remove "<!--" at the beginning!and "-->" at the end.
For all who forget to make a backup (special at the autosplit config):
Btw don't use Mi File Explorer for editing.

No I haven't, but I'm kind of holding off until the recovery is available. I'm tired of lgflash tool and now it's an even bigger pain to restore to stock thanks to LG

They upgraded the lgflash took so it tracks your info and won't restore it. You now have to spoof it to a server on your computer telling the tool that your already upgrade. So you've got to edit host files and set up local server. Not a huge deal, but definitely more if a pain and I did not realize it my last brick so my phone was dead for a day until I looked at the new instructions in the guide and was able to get to my development computer with time to fix it
