Disclaimer : I received this case for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. This means that if I bought it myself I would have wrote exactly the same things
The Orzly 2.5 Pro-fit tempered glass screen protector for the OnePlus 3 is one of the only screen protectors that cover the whole phone and it is very well presented with its packaging. It has the alcohol wipe and microfiber cloth on one side, and the tempered glass screen protector on the other. The installation instructions that come with it are very easy to follow and can easily be understood by anyone as it is step-by-step and has pictures as well.
Installing the tempered glass screen protector was very simple and only took a few seconds and there were no bubbles anywhere. In addition to that all of the cutouts were in the right place so the two bottom LEDs for the back and recents buttons were visible as well as the notification LED, camera, speaker and proximity sensor.
I also did a smudge test: some smudges did appear but were easily removed by wiping with the included microfiber cloth, and I did a scratch test with a coin, a key, and a rather sharp box cutter. The screen protector survived all of that with ease and is definitely strong/hard enough to protect your screen from scratches and drops.
A problem that quite a few people seem to have with this screen protector is that it comes of when installed with a case. I have not had this issue but I would like to say to make sure to be accurate when applying and use the camera/speaker/fingerprint sensor as a guide when installing the screen protector. Also, be careful when putting the case on. I have tried it with both the Orzly Fusion case and the Flexi Case with no problems whatsoever.
A slight issue is the 'dot matrix grid' because it is visible in direct sunlight and bright lighting conditions. However, I cannot really complain too much because this is what allows the screen to be fully covered and therefore fully protected against drops, and it isn't visible most of the time.
To summarise, the Orzly 2.5D Pro-Fit screen protector is great at its job, offers the best protection especially when compared to other partially covered screen protectors, and is very strong and durable. Just make sure it is installed accurately.

Terrible screen, dots in sunlight, oil marks on the center of the screen and when using many cases, lifts the edges of the protector so it stops making contact with the screen. Are people being paid to keep posting positive reviews for this screen, when everyone else knows it's really poor.
PS I have used it with the flexi case and know how to install protectors properly. It continually lifts the edges of the screen. Fact.

Yes they are. With my orzly I got letter which offer me free case if I wrote positive review and send them a link. The worst protector of all times.

Write to them about this with pics, they'll either issue a refund or send you a new one which is smaller, when ever that comes into stock

FYI, the screen doesn't fit with the Spigen Rugged Armor Case.

[Review] Zerolemon Ultra Glass Armor 9H | Post All Reviews Here!!!

I have been asked by @ZEROLEMON_OFFICIAL to start a thread for the purpose of posting reviews of their Ultra Glass Armor 9H tempered glass screen protectors for the HTC M8.
***DO NOT START A SEPARATE THREAD FOR THE PURPOSE OF WRITING YOUR OWN REVIEW. ALL REVIEWS OF THIS PRODUCT SHOULD GO IN THIS THREAD ONLY. ALL OTHERS WILL BE REMOVED BY THE MODERATION TEAM***
My review is as follows:
I received my tempered glass screen protector in the mail the other day. Everything was neatly packaged and included everything to install the screen protector. The wording of the instructions on how to install the screen protector was a bit confusing, but I've used a screen protector before so I knew how to install one. The only real issue I had was getting the protective film off the sticky side of the screen protector itself. The pull tab-style sticker came right off but the film itself remained, so I had to use a fingernail to pick at the edge of the film and then finally remove it. The screen protector went right on and looks great. I've only noticed a couple of issues, those being the screen protector seems to have a bit more glare than the actual screen of the phone, but I didn't find this to be an issue when viewing the phone in various lighting conditions. Also, it does seem to pick up dust fairly quickly. Overall, for the price you'd pay at an online store like Amazon, I don't think you'll find a better value tempered glass screen protector. Pick one up for yourself and see:good:
Amazon currently has them for $8.99.

Thanks for your feedback. The pull tab-style sticker should be able to stick on the film so the film will be easy to peel off. Maybe you are just unlucky, sorry. Below is the revised version of instruction which will be applied to the new batch.
1.Please wipe off all fingerprints and oil stains from the screen with the included alcohol swab. Wipe the screen with the included microfiber cloth for drying.
2.Place phone on flat surface with screen facing up. Peel the first plastic adhesive off and align the screen protector edge with the phone's edge.
3.Gently place the screen protector on the screen. The screen protector will automatically adhere to the surface of the screen.
4. If there are bubbles between the screen protector and the phone, please use a flat card to gently push out the bubbles to the edge of the phone.
5. Installation complete.
Those instructions are much better:good:
OMG INCREDIBLE!! Of all the shields I have had, this is surely my last from anyone. I am sticking to Zerolemon from now on. My other shields was fingerprint magnets, not this one. Easy to put on, and thinner than any other shield. Here is my 5 Star review from Amazon:
""I got the shield today, it was a snap to install. Thinner than my Chinese shield, and surprisingly almost fingerprint proof. The one thing I hated about my last shield was it attracted all my fingerprints. I always was cleaning it. But this one doesn't seem to even know my fingers even touched it. I can see the prints after heavy use, but so easy to clean, and barely visible, it is remarkable. This has got to be the best shield out there. And I have had one on all my phones. But now, this is probably going to be the only one I will have in the future. It's like touching the glass without any shield. Only con is that it seems to attract dust. But given that it is so invisible to the sight and touch a little POOF and no dust at all, I think it is static, because it is new, and will soon wear off. But if you need a shield, heck, YOU DO NEED A SHIELD!! This is the one to buy...""
This has attracted my attention. It is the best one I have ever had on any of my phones. (Now if you can make those camera lens covers from this material, I would be extremely happy)
I received mine on Saturday. Beautiful packaging. The instructions where a bit on the small side, but its pretty self explanatory. The application went well enough, but keep in mind that this glass seems to be cut exactly the same size as the glass on the M8. So when you start to apply it make sure it starts exactly where it does on the phone. If you are even a little pulled away from the start of the glass on the opposite side of the glass it wont stick down because it will be slightly on the speaker grill. After getting that straightened out it looks incredible. For the price you cant go wrong.
Anyone who knows how to take care of a phone knows you need a screen protector.
Scratch proof glass just isn't after enough time has passed. But there's a reason manufacturers stick with glass for screens. It's tactile, your finger glides over it with silky precision. It gives the phone a solid and dependable touch to it. A solid reassurance. Most importantly, glass gives the best transmission of light from the underlying pixels so it makes the display look vibrant.
Then you have to slap some cheap plastic on top of it, This was far easy to apply to the phone. The glass and the phone join together like magic, after you have aliened it over the phone the two bond together, the Best part is there isn't a bubble beneath it, which I can't stand in plastic screens.
This is a revolutionary product. I love it. There are only a few cons to having this is an ever so slight increase in thickness in your phone. Plastic screen protectors are negligibly thick but glass has to be a bit thicker to be effective. Personally, I like the added thickness, modern phones are, to me, increasingly flimsy feeling. This gives it a bit more substance (My case still fits without issues as-well). I have also found 2 out of 4 corners are a little sharp and could of been slightly more rounded.
Overall this is one amazing screen protector and I look forward to showing it off on my phone.
How many taken part in this thread actually paid for theirs? Given that ZeroLemon were offering free units in return for reviews. It's hard to determine genuine positives from this thread. Has anyone compared this product to the others such as Nillkin (arguably best tempered screen protector), Mime, Zagg etc.

I have had the Nilkin on my M8, saved the screen when it fell on the floor when I was in the doctors office. But it was thicker, and always showed my fingerprints. This screen (Even though I didn't pay for it) is the best I have had. I have had tempered glass on my screens for a couple years, almost always the cheap ones from China that takes 6+ weeks to get here. This one is local and cost is similar, would I have bought it? I don't normally shop Amazon, so unless it was on eBay I probably would not, unless I seen it on someones device, or at least heard good news about it. I didn't even know that the glass resist fingerprints. Would I but another? Yep... I have already showed it to a friend, and she is going to get her M8 this weekend and order this shield. Because it is a lot better than the one on her M7. So even though you might think that the review is biased because it was free, it isn't. It is a good shield and not bad on the price either.... :good:
I got mine in the mail today.
1. It is awesome. It covers the entire glass portion of the front of the phone. Not just the active LCD area.
2. It is extremely smooth. This makes it feel as if it is not there.
3. It's oleophobic coating is superb. Haven't seen a single finger print.
4. It is extremely clear, I cannot tell it is there.
5. I have it paired with the Otter box symmetry case and feel as if my phone has the ultimate protection.
6. The only draw back was during the installation I kept getting a raised corner. This was because Tue glass is cut to very small tolerances and matches the M8's screen perfectly. I had to slow down and focus on what I was doing.
All in all I am pretty happy with it and will be buying a second one to keep as a backup. I see this protector lasting the life of phone and keeping the resale value in since the screen will be in perfect condition whenever it is peeled off.

I understand your concern. We are sending free samples in exchange for an honest review. We do not send samples to everyone, only legit users. You guys are welcome to compare our screen protector with other brands.
I have received my tempered glass protector from Zerolemon. Before I start I'll say that it was sent for review on condition that I review it. They told me to make an honest review, and never set any guidelines which leaves me to do and say whatever I'd like. I am in no way obliged to give a good review as they have nothing on me and have not told me otherwise.
The protector arrived in excellent, eco-friendly packaging that was simplistic yet effective in explaining what the product is and how to install it. Right away I could tell that the glass protector was of good quality and not simply a Chinese knock-off. I have used dozens of protectors including Spigen's $40.00 Nano slim, and this is comparable, if not better given the price.
The protector installed without a hassle, and aligned IDENTICALLY with my screen. The cut-out is perfect unlike other protectors, and offers maximum coverage with no exposed areas of the screen.
Included in the package are an anti-bacterial wipe and cloth to make sure you screen is very clean before installation. Once done, you take off the back film from the glass protector and simply let it adhere to the screen of your M8.
Again, this review was is in no way dictated by ZeroLemon, and I could of written anything I wanted. In fact, I already had another tempered glass protector installed so I didn't even need a 'free sample'.
I give this product a 10/10 simply because it's of top quality, and for the price, you cannot beat it.
I have recently received an ultra glass 9h tempered glass screen protector from zerolemon about a week ago. Upon first glance the packaging is well put together with the screen protector placed securely inside. The packaging comes with the tempered glass protector, a microfiber cloth, and an alcohol wipe to clean the screen off. The directions can be kind of confusing if you have never applied a screen protector or a glass screen protector before as they seem to be worded weird. If you apply to protector properly it looks extremely nice and feels as if there were no protector on it. The one thing I do not like about this glass protector is that it is a little on the thick side. With a case on the phone thou you don’t really notice how thick it is, but I do not use a case so I can feel the thickness of the protector. Without the case I need to be more careful when I put it and pull it out of my pocket to make sure that it doesn’t peel off or catch on the inside of my pocket. I have also noticed that this protector can have a little bit of glare in direct sunlight or light unlike the screen with no protector on it but it’s not that bad. All in all this a fantastic screen protector and for $8.99 you can’t really beat the price for any other screen protector, especially a glass protector. I would recommend this protector to anyone who wants to get a glass protector and give it shot!
What is the thickness of the protector?

Ok, i was normally running naked since i've had my m8 and got a .10 cent chine film screen protector for a while but it fell off on one of my trips to the beach. I contacted zerolemon to inquire upon the free product.
Fast forward a week and i got it 3 days ago. Putting it on was a snap, its very precise with its cuts. My crappy chinese case was very close to not fitting but it did with a little adjusting.
Now yesterday at santa cruz my girlfriend put our phones on trunk lid area while we grabbed our stuff. She grabbed her phone and we started closing the lid and foolishly we slammed the trunk 2 times. i eventually notices my phone and immediately freaked out, but fortunately the only cracks was 3 in diff areas, and my actual screen was unharmed. If it wasn't for this product i would have a cracked phone right now and im still rocking my slightly cracked glass armor until i order a new one soon.
I'm giving this screen 10/10 across everything just for saving my ass. I highly reccomend this screen
Now that is a test I don't want to try. LoL

Just place cards, not really phony. If you wanted to test it out free, then you need to review it, good or bad. But so we was ask to post a temp review on there till we get the screen and check it out. Once it is checked out, the tester can go back and edit his review to show what he/she feels about it.

Unbelievable. A "temp" review? Why not let people review the item after they actually use it, instead of telling people to leave 5 star reviews for an item they don't even have yet?

My review of the ZeroLemon 9H Premium tempered glass screen protector

I wanted to let everyone know that I was given a ZeroLemon Ultra Glass Armor - 9H Premium tempered glass screen protector for my HTC one M8 in exchange for this review.
Now with that out of the way on with the review! The packaging at first glance was nice. It was not flashy with lots of colorful pictures. It has a plan covering almost like a paper bag but slightly lighter. The ZeroLemon logo is at the top, and has icons on the front displaying the features of the 9H. The inside of the packaging was professionally done. The 9H was on one side, and an alcohol swab and microfiber cloth were in a pocket on the other. I get the impression that the packaging was designed so that it can take impacts, and the 9H would still be protected. I removed all of the contents out of the packaging, and here is where I found an issue. The instructions for installation were in boxes behind the 9H. They have a small picture with text underneath. Each box is assumed to be a step in the installation process. I read through each step, and I was not sure what I was reading. It was like it was written in another language, and then translated to English. Just to give it the benefit of the doubt, I re-read all of the instructions, and came to the same conclusion; however, I have install dozens of screen protectors, so I figured how hard could it be.
I have a process for installing screen protectors using a hot shower to remove dust particles from the air in the bathroom. Generally, this method has served me well for getting a dust free lint free application of a screen protector, so I decided to use this method for applying the 9H. I went through my normal process, and when it was time to put the 9H on, I was very surprise how easy it was to line up and get it perfect on my screen. Because it is tempered glass, I could hold it from one end, and move it any way I wanted to. I also did not get any finger prints on the bottom of the 9H because it was rigid. After it was on and centered, I had decided that was the easiest screen protector I had “EVER” installed. At first there were a lot of small air bubbles under the screen. I kept working on pushing them out. I was a little worried because I could not get them all out. By the next day I still had some, but eventually I worked them all out. After inspecting the 9H on my M8, I could not see any imperfections. I thought it was a clean install; however, I found a small piece of lint close to the bottom of the screen. One thing about the 9H is that even with the small piece of lint, there was no air bubble around it. I don’t think I would have found it if I had not been specifically looking for it. I could not find any other imperfections in the installation.
The 9H is thicker than the last screen protector that I had, so you will need to be aware about this. I use a Seidio Surface case, and it was a little loose with my old screen protector; however, it is now a snug fit. I actually like the Seidio Surface case more now with the 9H on as I thought it should have been a better fit than it did. The surface of the 9H is very smooth, and I can’t tell I have a protector on it. It is not holding finger prints like my last protector did, and I have to admit that ZeroLemon’s claim of turning your screen into an “Anti-fingerprint ‘Oleophobic’ display” is true! The 9H does resist oil and finger prints like no other protector I have ever used. One thing to note is that the 9H is very reflective. You will get reflections off of any light source, but the screen clarity is extremely good.
My overall assessment of the 9H is excellent. The packaging could use a little work as far as the instructions go, but the rest of the packaging was very professional if a little plain. Installation was a snap that easily beat all other screen protectors on ease of installation that I have ever used. The 9H is a little thicker which could impact what case you are using so be mindful about that. Screen clarity is fantastic and the ability to resist oil and finger prints leaves the screen clean most of the time (ie no more wiping your phone on your shirt of pants..yuck). The 9H is not an anti-glare protector, so you will have to deal with the reflective surface; however, I think this is minor compared with the benefits the 9H brings to the table.
Well, that is my review; I hope it has been helpful. I plan on using the 9H as my daily driver. I normally use an anti-glare protector, but I am so impressed with the clarity, oil & finger print resistance that I am going to keep using it. Oh, other reasons to keep using it would be the protection from impacts, drops, and scratches; however, I have not encountered any of those since using this screen protector, so I did not include it in my review. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
Rob
Here is my review of It
Here is what stood out to me on this overall exceptional screen protector.
1. The Fit- This is an exact fit of the screen on some glass protectors like my Mime glass there is a 0.5 mm or so border that makes installation easier, there is no such boarder on this protector which I think is good overall because it makes the phone look and feel better due to the screen protector covering 100% of the glass.
2. Installation- Even with the exact fitting glass the install is easy like most glass protectors. The way I install screen protectors is the hinge method, which makes lining up the glass go perfect every time, just look up "glass screen protector hinge method" on YouTube and you will see what I am talking about. After I got the screen protector on I just pressed out some tiny bubbles around the edges and I was good to go. Also the box comes with everything that you would need to get your screen clean.
3. Using my phone- Because this is a glass screen protector there is nothing to talk about clarity wise as it is perfectly clear. For fingerprints I would say that it is better than the naked screen but will still get fingerprints, they are very easy to wipe off and it is nowhere near the fingerprint magnet that some plastic screen protectors can be.
ZeroLemon is now my favorite brand of screen protectors I can't believe that I spent so much on Mime screen protectors when these are such a better value and quality.
Free for reviews aside-is it actually a good screen protector? My Nilikin has a chip on the corner and is starting to get cracked, so I like the idea of a cheap one with a lifetime warranty.

ok, so you think just because we got a free screen protector we are simply saying it is good as "Payment?" I like how people review it and say it is good and then get asked if it is really good... Sorry, just kinda annoys me.
That aside, I actualy like this one more than my Nilikin. with in a couple weeks my nilikin had a couple small chips. so far this one is chip free, but It is only a few days on my device... Time will tell to this. The nilikin was just a touch smaller than the glass screen, just a small border mainly top and bottom, but the zero lemon fits PERFECTLY. I could see this being an issue if you are not good at putting on a screen protector, but for most of us slightly anal retentive people it is freaking great.

I have had mine on a little longer, and I really like it. My Nilikin was a fingerprint magnet, this one resist them. I will admit my Nilikin did protect my screen when I dropped it, it took the crack and not my screen. Will this one do the same? I believe it will, but I won't purposely drop my phone to find out. And it fits perfect, edge to edge. Where the Nilikin was a little smaller. I am ordering one for my wife's M8. Less expensive and lifetime warranty.. How can you beat that?

My review is genuine. Just because we got a $9 screen protector for free does not mean we owe them anything other than the review we promised we would give them. If the 9H was worthless, I would have said that, but that is not the case. I spent my time to change a perfectly good screen protector, make notes and write the above review. I didn't do it to get a free screen protector that would only cost me $9. My time is worth more than that. I did it because I thought it would be a cool thing to do. If people don't believe my review is real, that is their problem as I reviewed it as I saw it. The 9H is really as good as I reviewed. :good:

[REVIEW] Skinomi Tech Glass™ Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Full Coverage Screen Protector

I know most of us (if not all) keep looking for that perfect tempered glass screen protector for our phones (not to mention that it has to be curved of course).
Today I received my Skinomi Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge tempered glass screen protector, and I'd be more than happy in sharing my review of the product.
Packaging:
Packaging is retail. I pre-ordered from their website directly (rather not deal with Amazon), and I got a cool coupon that saved me 25% .
What comes included is your screen protector, fiber cloth, alcohol cleaning cloth and dust lifter screen.
Installation:
I'm going to be completely honest here; This is my first time installing a tempered glass screen protector. Much less a dry installation. I've always used invisible shield for my previous devices so I was expecting a hassle. This was by far the easiest installation I've ever done. Super easy!
Fit:
The fit is not as great as I'd expect it to be. It doesn't cover the phone fully on the edges, you can still see some small space that's left uncovered (I've attached pictures for your leisure). I'm sure that I've installed it as best as humanely possible (actually quite proud of that haha).
The capacitive buttons on the bottom or probably my main issue; The cover completely warps them. The cutouts on the glass protector don't match the cutouts on the phone itself. This causes the buttons to look weird and warped when they light up. I personally don't care (now if this is a mistake and someone from Skinomi is reading this, then please reach out!), the case does what it's supposed to do, but I feel that it makes the fact you have a glass protector on your phone obvious.
Feel:
The protector feels great, you really can't tell there's something on top of your screen. Touch sensibility is weird around the middle towards the left edge on my particular protector (I do have to press slightly harder in order to get a response), but I'm having that after 24 hours that problem clears out.
Final thoughts:
I actually like the protector overall. It's not bad for the price I payed (although I was expecting a better fit for the buttons and a better fit around the screen itself). I'm guessing that as long as the screen protector doesn't come off like the Spigen one I would consider myself happy.
I know the pictures are not the greatest, but If you guys want better ones or different angles or something just let me know!
Hope this helps!

Exactly my thoughts. If the edges were more sensitive, I wouldn't care about the rest.
I'm very impressed with this tempered glass. SGP use to be my favorite for all my devices but I'll start considering Skinomi tempered glass going forward.
There are some sensitivity issues on the left side but hopefully that will go away once the glass settles in and will report back if it does or doesn't go away later in the week. What I mean is that I would have to press harder than normal.
Here is a pic with the glass before installation. I just realized I still had the clear plastic covering my lens after I took this picture and will add a few more pictures with it being installed once I borrow a colleagues camera phone.
It looks so beautiful once installed and no bubbles like the SGP curved one. TBH, hyped went away once I started to get sensitivity issues on the left hand side and hopefully it will go away after a few days.
EDIT: after re-aligning the glass, I don't have any sensitivity issues anymore. You might have to re-aligning it a few times if you're off. Don't worry, you won't lose any stickyness. This tempered glass is worth buying IMHO.

Suggestions for screen protector

Decided I shouldn't go without a screen protector, looks like the tempered glass ones won't work well because the screen in curved on the edges. Anyone have experience with or can recommend a good one? I often see suggestions on here that I couldn't find on my own and I'm thinking one of you guys can help.
By the way i went with this case:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M15T2I3/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1
I like it except that the camera and volume buttons aren't cut outs. It fits the phone well.
I appreciate any suggestions.
Same boat as you. The ones offered Amazon all seem to complain about them being too thin, bezel to bezel.
The only one that I have found for the phone that fits properly so far is listed below. It's not glass but works great.

I actually purchased the full body coverage kit and it covers everything as well.

Nillkin has crappy cases for F5321 that offer little more than scratch protection, and you're incessant advertising for them across the all the device boards is obvious, so you can hardly be considered objective. Please go troll your mother and go away. There are people here looking for serious solutions.

I decided to go with the Skinomi as well, put it on my XC yesterday. Very happy with the results, it's been a while since I have used a non-tempered glass screen protector and for some reason I was expecting the touch screen to be hard to use and the experience generally unpleasant. This wasn't the case and it fits perfectly. recommended.
Anyone try one of those 3d glass ones from gcolor on Amazon? They also have this flexible carbon fiber type one too

I saw those but have seen to many negative things about G Color protectors to ever try one out myself. Lots of videos on youtube about them being crap.
I got these ones from ebay and they're a perfect fit. Quite easy to apply and cover right to the edge of the curved screen.
Worthwhile watching the video before starting. It's been on a few weeks now and no finger marks and the feel is good

I ordered one of those g color protectors yesterday. I'll be that guy that tests it. Should get it sunday. If its moot I'll try that skinomi one. I kinda want the skinomi one just for the rear protector.
edit: Ok got it in yesterday. Packaging was nice and it came with the normal included things. Putting it on was kind of a pain in the ass. This was mostly contributed to the curved screen but it is doable with some patience. I messed up putting it on the first time and lifted it up gently and repositioned it. The adhesive was just as sticky as the first time so there is room for error. I have a cheap jelly case off amazon on it currently until my devil case comes in from overseas but it does not have any conflict with the screen protector as long as you get it on next to perfect.
Clarity is good except for one small small detail and another really annoying detail. The small detail is you can see a line around the boarder between the glass and the "carbon fiber". While annoying I can understand that it's 2 different materials and I don't see how you couldn't have that problem. The really annoying one is it cuts off some pixels on both sides of the screen. It isn't really noticeable until i use reddit sync which then when viewing the comments it becomes apparent. It kinda irritates me but for the moment I'd rather have a couple of blocked off pixels then the screen exposed.
I give it a 6/10 mostly because of the cut off pixels. If it wasn't for that my initial rating would be more of a 8 or a 9/10. I will comment later on down the road if I experience the adhesive pulling up.

Lol, I am positive I saw your review on Amazon when I left mine (we also have the same case). Anyhow, although I disagree with the installation, I agree with everything else. Installation for me was slightly confusing, but really easy once I understood what to do. Air bubbles were a pain to get out, but that's to be expected. As for the quality, it's perfectly fine except for your two points. Mostly your second point: the pixel cutoff. While definitely bearable and not very noticeable most of the time, in certain apps it really is irritatingly noticeable. I would have to recommend against getting this screen protector and waiting until a better one comes out. I'm keeping it on until I find a really good case and/or a better glass screen protector.
Has anyone tried the Nillkin "Amazing H tempered glass screen protector"? Would really like to know if it's any good because I enjoy their frosted case.
Looks like Devilcase now offers a curved glass screen protector: http://www.twdevilcase.com/en/index.php?menu=prod_detail&mid=21&did=7&pid=5280&list=class
BTW, their case for this phone is really thick. Not as stylish as their early, asymmetrical cases :/

This is not great, but is the best I've found so far. It's not got perfect adhesion on the edges, but I've tried the super soft screen protector, flat glass and curved glass with glue only on the edges so dirt gets under it. I'd love to find a curved glass one that has glue all over it instead of just a tiny but around the edges.
I'm also looking for a curved screen protector that "glues" properly (direct contact) to the entire screen, not just the edges.
It doesn't have to be tempered glass either, simple cheap TPU would work fine.
The ebay one mentioned above doesn't ship outside of UK, so it's no good for me.

I have a problem with that screen protector, it turns proximity sensor always on, so you can't access the phone in call.
When I removed the devilcase curved glass screen protector, the proximity sensor starts to work again.
Seems that roxfit screen protector has similar issue.

Don't buy tempered glass protection for 1+5!!

It seems that all currently available on AliExpress (at least) tempered glass protection are flawed, because of:
1- Protectors that covers the body in full, and has some black areas: has actually glue only on the black non-transparent zones, but nothing on display area it self (so only display ages, upper and lower parts has glue), this makes it rubbish, because it will not stick well to the screen, one or two gaming sessions and it will end in recycle bin.
2- Fully transparent one, with full screen coverage: because 1+5 has 2.5D screen, those covers will not stick well on phone edges since tempered glass is rigid, this maybe can be used only with covers that overlap edges of the screen also.
3-Fully transparent one that don't cover all of the screen: those usually stick well, but only if they left about 5mm on each edge uncovered! I believe it is clear that such a gap ruins the protective purpose of the tempered glass, aside the ugly look due to gaps. (Again, having an edge overlapping cover could make it look better)
So it seems the only practical option for now is to use usual non glass protection unfortunately.
If I missed something or you have some suggestions please let me know..Some manufacturers claims that there protector is 4D, what means that it should solve all above issues, i didn't try those yet, anybody tested them?
I am regretting removing original 1+5 protection
As I bought and still use an Orzly tempered glass protector I concur with your analysis at this time. When I first applied the Orzly is was perfect without the issues some experienced but after 3+ weeks the sides must have lifted slightly due to my bumper case and dust particles got underneath next to the left/right buttons. Since then I've been religiously looking for an alternate that passes the case test but none so far have come to light.
I like the feel of the tempered glass so much that I've resisting going back to the film/plastic alternatives which I had always used in the past. I'm even considering going naked on the screen, relying on Gorilla Glass 5, but continue with a bumper case. Or the reverse, by using an Orzly but with no bumper case as I already have a dBrand skin applied. None of those options seem all that appealing. The one protector that seems to work with a 2.5D screen is the Galaxy 8's Whitestone Dome Glass but it's a crazy expensive $41USD and difficult to apply. I'm not sure even if a OnePlus 5 version was available I'd spend that much money.
I haven't had any luck with any tempered glass., due to point 2 which has been raised:
2- Fully transparent one, with full screen coverage: because 1+5 has 2.5D screen, those covers will not stick well on phone edges since tempered glass is rigid, this maybe can be used only with covers that overlap edges of the screen also.

After reading all of the reviews I decided just to leave the plastic one on until someone gets their act together and offers a proper tgsp for the OP5
Sent from my OnePlus5 using XDA Labs
Agreed with OP and all of above. I had and still have the Orzly TG protector on, but dust underneath. I want to go back to the usual plastic ones, but don't know which one covers as well/much as the original one that came with the phone. Any recommendations?

Im still waiting for my Nilkin glass protector to arrive (it's almost been a month, sigh)
If this one has the same issue as the ones I've tried before it (lack of adhesive around the edges), I'm going to try and go back to using plastic screen protectors.
I don't want to use my device without one, but I also hate how these glass protectors don't fully adhere to the screen around the sides (including top and bottom)

The YouTube channel you mention is also my favorite choice for screen protector info for the Oneplus 5. He always tests the protectors with various cases. His branding of the channel can get annoying but his market coverage is excellent and vast. With the plethora of tempered screen protectors its your choice for an accompanying case that often makes a big difference in your satisfaction. Here is the Big unBox - Biuzko review.
One thing I noticed is when the Big unBox applied the Official OnePlus 5 tgsp video it had lots of bubbles on the edges that he said couldn't be removed while I watched XDA's TK review and his application looked perfect with TK giving it a thumbs up. In the comment section of that review TK said all was well even after a month of usage. I was surprised as the Official tgsp has garnered horrible reviews and comments in the XDA Oneplus 5 accessories section. The most consistent criticism of the Official tgsp is that it cuts off a tiny fraction of the screen. In fact, so far my research indicates all of the "Full Adhesive", "Full coverage" tgsp cut off part of the screen. Personally I think the reason they have a black line on the edges is to hide inevitable bubbles due to the curved edge. The thicker the tempered glass the wider the side black stripes (e.g. Orzly versus Official).
Here is the criteria I'm using in selecting a replacement for my Orzly tgsp and cheap bumper case. Note that I've already installed a dBrand skin so that skews my criteria somewhat.
Tempered Glass screen protector:
- Must have full adhesive (not just top/bottom and side adhesion) and full coverage
- Would prefer, but am a tiny bit flexible on, part of the screen being cut off (limit is that not one pixel of the notification bar's clock is trimmed)
- Must have an oleophobic coating
Case:
- Needs to be as non intrusive as possible adding grip but not greatly ruining the sleekness of the phone
- Uses a minimalist design and/or clear materials so as not to obstruct viewing of the dBrand skin I've installed
- With the case on the buttons (power and volume rocker) must not be difficult to press
So far my research has me leaning towards the Official OnePlus 5 or Biuzko tgsp with a Rhinoshield Crashguard case. My one issue is that the Rhinoshield reviews always mention how difficult the volume rocker buttons are to press. Here is the video that has me leaning in that direction as is seems to best address my criteria
OnePlus 5 best case/protector setup
I'll being doing more reading and searching today hoping to find the unicorn of tgsp/case combinations. The dust under my Orzly is driving me mad but the feel and responsiveness of its surface has me rejecting a film/plastic protector alternative.
I'm using the Biuzko as well with the Tudia MERGE case no problems.
The trick is to first put OP5 in the case, THEN place the screen protector on. It fits perfectly, and you can't mess up the alignment since it falls right in. Then I just try to put pressure on the sticky parts for a few minutes.
I've had no problems for 3 weeks now.
I installed mine the same way, but I'm using the op5 carbon fiber case.

Hello,
I recommend you the plastic screen protectors from GadgetShieldz. I made a review about it on another post on xda but to summarize, it's a bit difficult to apply but then it's great. The screen looks good and it's cheap ^^ highly recommend.
FYI, I was struggling with TGSP for the OP5 and I just gave up. There is no good alternative atm.

Skinomi makes a wet application protector in both clear and matte. I posted pics of the matte version here. Since that post, I've experienced no scratches or orange peel effect. It's also great for no fingerprints.
You can always get the Nillkin H+ Pro, but only if you are using a spigen case or otterbox. Right now I am using the Spigen Rugged Armor with Nillkin H+ Pro and the gap between the glass and the case is around 1 mm (i would say 1.5 mm if I have to be more accurate). The Otterbox case is even better but I find it too bulky, tried it once for an hour and I did not enjoy it, but some of you may like it.
Few words about the Nillkin H+ Pro.
I know there are few variants of the Nillkin glass and I have tried all of them in the past. In my opinion the best glass is exactly the H+ Pro even tho it is a 1 dollar more expensive. The glass has zero rainbow effect or halo effect, it is 99 to 100% clear. It has amazing orleophobic coating. My Honor 8 has the same glass for 6 months now and it is flawless. I am going to change my nillkin glass with the official 3D tempered glass but only because I received the rhinoshield bumper. Otherwise I would not change my nillkin. You are going to get used to the small gap in a week or so.
Don't leave the phone without a glass.
I just applied mine, best screen protector I ever had, pure quality. Quote me on that
I love the official OnePlus screen protector, it's premium & looks good. Who ever made this thread is straight up wrong. The one he recommended is no Bueno, the glass part doesn't have enhesive. Look I am a OnePlus 5 conisuer, the screen protector is fantastic ?
I have siegen case. Can I buy the original screen protector from oneplus store with no problems? Or can I suggest me something with dust proof and oil proof ?
