Hey xda community,
last night i run into a tricky situation.
First, I explain what I did
I bought me the P9 EVA-L09 via Telekom Germany.
cause i don't want the Telekom **** on my device i decide to TWRP, Root, and flash P9 stock Rom on it.
Unlocking and install TWRP with the SRK Tool works fine. Install the Root was a bit more tricky, because windows lost the correct ADB connection when i go into TWRP Sideload Mode. Because that does not work, i decide to flash the P9 Stock ROM without Root to come forward.
While flashing, (i don''t now anymore which method i choose to flash) an error appers, and the flash process canceled.
The Device don't boot anymore. After a loot of googeling and testing, i've found out that the problem was the encryption of the /Data Partition.
TWRP was unable to mount it, same for the /cust and one more.
After reading about other Methods to get the Phone work again i try this Method i've found on xda.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818
Unfortunately the "press all buttons on the phone" Method don't work.
I also tried out the Huawei Update Extractor to flash single image files to the partitons of the phone. I used the dload file form the previous Method
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/372688-re-partition-stock-partition-tool/ (using the answer on the bottom)
Download from xda huawei update extractor and extract img files from the update.
Turn off the phone, then press vol- and power key, you are in fastboot mode.
Then, flash img files from extracted rom with:
Fastboot flash system SYSTEM.IMG
fastboot flash boot BOOT.IMG
And do the same with the others...
When you finish, fastboot reboot
Click to collapse
But that don't work. fastboot already replies with "Remote Command not allowed"
i changed the Method a bit. I've put the BOOT.IMG and RECOVERY.IMG an an SD card and flash it via the Install IMG Funktion of TWRP.
That workes very well and expect the /data partition every partition was mountable again.
Then i used the "Fastboot flash system SYSTEM.IMG" again, and tada it works without errors.
The device is booting again to Android, but it reports that the /Data Partition Decryption failed and i have to enter the Recovery Mode and do a factory reset to unlock the partition. If i reboot for get rid of this error the phone does not boot into the Recovery, it boot to the eRecovery which is useless for that because it only provide the eRecovery function instead of also a normal factory reset (how dump is this )
Now the state is, phone boots normal, reports the /Data is not decryptable, reboot to eRecovery, shutdown or reboot. It does really nothing else.
I can't get into the Fastboot/Download Mode, it ignores the Key Combination Volume down + Power. If i press this it starts normal.
I also can't get into the recovery / TWRP Mode, it ignores the Key Combination Volume Up + Power. If i press this is starts normal.
I've also noticed that the Phone is not conecting to the ADB on my computer, only the virtual CDROM from wich the HiSuite is installable connects.
I've also noticed that the eRecovery is not able to starts WIFI on the phone. It errors with "Starting WIFI failed!"
I also tryed out another time the dload function. This changed nothing. Phone boots still normal and run into the Decryption problem.
And i tried out to boot into fastboot or recovery after a cold reset, battery empty
Now it's on you. Has anybody an idea how i can solve one of the above problems. I think when one is solved the others will disappear via flashing new TWRP or so
Try connecting your phone to usb and then holding power+volume down until it boots to fastboot mode.
Huawei phone won't boot into recovery if system and twrp don't match but it should boot to fastboot allways.
What is the last rom you had on your phone while it was working?

I see two possibilites for this behavior:
1) The phone only pretents to reboot but makes a kind of warm start (never running the code to branch to recovery/boot) -> if the phone seems powered off and you attach usb cable, do you see standard battery laoding animation (that's what it should be) or black screen / boot logo?
2) You flashed a wrong boot.img and/or recovery.img or flashing got screwed up
If you have wrong images, fastboot should still work as edint3000 said.
For the unlikely case (1) with non removable battery you have to wait until battery is drained before you can boot into fastboot after connecting USB cable. Edit: oops just saw you did that.
I had another phone that at some point decided to go only in fastboot with volume down and no power button, when powered up with USB power. But I had never such an issue with a Huawei phone. However, playing around a bit costs nothing (but time).
I see no reason why fast boot should not work. How did you find out, that everything is fine after flahing with TWRP and before flashing system with fastboot?
Did you do anything else than flashing the system.img with fastboot?
Chilli
Same problem here...Phone not boot/not enter fastboot mode/not enter recovery mode...just stuck "your device booting now" screen...any solution?
Hello Mossyhand
you should search for the recovery Method with an "dload" ROM. This are kind of special Roms wich are able to "selfflash" onto the phone.
You have to put the right file onto your SD Card and then you have to press some keys when i remember right.
Sadly i've forgot, when i solved my problem, to reply how i did that exactly ._.
But if you do search in the dload method you will figure a way out i guess
If you don't find an right file, i can upload you my file, i have it still on my computer
had the same problem
go into the erecovery, it will tell you the data partition has been damaged. u can wipe it from there. go into trwp again, install rom and stuff. voila, works
cheers
Hello everyone, I am new to this forum so please forgive if I misplaced this thread
The problem is next:
I want to root my P8 Lite (and convert to dual sim but first things first). I have read some threads here, also that mega-thread, did everything step by step.
First I have requested unlock code from Huawei and successfully unlocked bootloader (fastboot shows it's unlocked and booting in bootloader shows Phone UNLOCKED).
Second, I installed ADB drivers, HiSuite recognizes my phone, adb devices shows it, everything runs smoothly. I downloaded and tried bat file that automatically roots it (the lazy way ) but not success so far. Then I rebooted completely and did everything step by step using cmd.
1. adb reboot bootloader (OK)
2. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img (OK)
3. fastboot reboot (OK)
4. adb push UPDATE_SuperSU-v2.46.zip /su.zip (OK)
5. adb shell /sbin/recovery --update_package=/su.zip (SEGMENTATION FAULT)
I am stuck at step 5, clearly. Also I tried commands one by one:
adb shell
/sbin/recovery
But that returns Permission Denied.
Tried that again through Minimal and ADB Fastboot, through SDK, but no success so far. Thought that Windows 10 may be the problem, but the same was on laptop with Windows 7.
I would appreciate any help here.
I don't know. In my opinion, you can put the SuperSU flashable zip into your phone through USB, and boot into TWRP Recovery, mount /system, then flash it.I'm not sure about it. Maybe it can help.
P.S.: You can see https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...de-to-unlock-bootloader-t3150616/post61708277this post, find the UPDATE-2.

I can't boot into recovery, it shows nothing. There is a sound that usb is connected but screen remains black, I can't install twrp over stock recovery. Is sd card necessary or this can be done just with phone memory?

I had some problems installing TWRP and SU after my update to B588.
I used Xepeleato's TWRP edition with the 2 zip SU installation (I have so many files, that I cannot remember where I got them ).
So, flashed TWRP, then connected via usb (if I am not mistaken) and then via adb rebooted into recovery. Then flashed both of the files for the SU.
I will try doing that with install from sd card, from service menu, otherwise I can't install over stock recovery.
Also can't root it. I soft bricked my phone 3 times and then had to flash Cust, Boot and all the other images using a script I found on the Megathread and set it up all over again. I have an unlocked bootloader but can't root it and I am too scared to try again.
That's my problem, first time softbricked it, then I flashed stock recovery and fixed it, bootloader unlocked but can't root.
Just in case you are on B588: I had problem with the official recovery of the build (don't know for sure if it is different from the others) and flashed the one extracted from B584 and then flashed TWRP.
I'm on B585
if I were you, i'd flash twrp, through adb and then boot into recovery through adb also and flash the 2 zip SU files at once. clear cache and dalvik and reboot.

How did you flash the one from B584?
EDIT: Nevermind, I did it. I booted to recovery through adb and TWRP was working
Did it, found some chinese twrp that worked for me. Now other problem came up
I tried to downgrade to Lollipop and setup was successfull. When phone restarted display wasnt showing anything, just bars and flashes and pixels etc, startup sound is there but no preview. Fastboot system flash returns failed, also erase.

1) let your phone charge - in case you don't have enough battery.
2) Try to download your desired build.
3) download Huawei extractor and with this, extract boot, recovery, cust and system.
4) search a bit on the big thread (root, unbrick convert etc) on how to enter fastboot. I cannot remember the exact steps, but there is a way for sure.
5) initiate adb and flash all the 4 images you extracted.
This is in general what you have to do.
Wishing you good luck!
If I find something more I'll let you know.
PS : when I had mine bricked I entered bootloader by following these steps if I am not mistaken :
Connect phone to pc
Keep Pressing the power button and when the screen turns off, press and hold the volume up (while pressing the power button).
When the phone vibrates, release the power button.
Tried everything, boot, recovery and cust flashed successfully but sytem "cant load system.img" even with using -S 512M or 1G or 256M. I took it for a repair, hope they will sort it out.
The guy from service did not succeed, he told me that he tried everything that I have, and that the phone can't be repaired. But I did.
I downloaded the latest firmware for my country, formatted SD card as FAT32, put it in my phone and rebooted, so folders Android, LOST.DIR and System Volume Information were created. I put the UPDATE.APP in dload folder on my SD card. Then I let phone charge fully until LED indicator was green. Plugged out the charger, and pressed Volume Up + Volume Down + Power. When the phone restarted, on startup vibration I let go power button and kept holding Volume Up and Down for about 3s. Then when I let them, display went completely black and nothing happened. I put the charger but it wasn't charging so I hoped that it started forced upgrade. Left it on the table and about 15min later it vibrated again on restart and - success!! Huawei logo on screen, booting up, EMUI optimizing device. So happy I solved it. Also thanks for answering guys!
Hello, this is not the first time I'm rooting an Android phone, and I had no problems with any of my past attempts. However, this situation with Huawei P9 EVA-L09 has given me a headache...
I have originally followed this guide:
https://theunlockr.com/2016/12/06/root-huawei-p9-p9-plus/
(which appears to have skipped tiny but crucial part on flashing twrp - so I don't recommend)
Everything was going fine until I have flashed TWRP on my still NOT-rooted Huawei P9 EVA-L09 (adb reboot bootloader ; fastboot flash twrp-3.1.0-0-eva.img) successfully:
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'recovery' (22462 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.639s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.302s]
finished. total time: 0.944s
After this I have used the command fastboot reboot and phone started normally. However when I try booting into custom TWRP recovery I just flashed and get the usual bootloader unlocked warning! I either get stuck at Phone is booting now... or I get into original EMUI Huawei eRecovery.
Did I do something wrong? What do I do after flashing TWRP?
I have read somewhere that original EMUI ROM maybe rewrites custom recovery if OS(ROM) boots before you entered recovery so could this be my problem? How do I reboot directly into TWRP from fastboot to avoid booting into the ROM?
Also, what is the correct way to boot into TWRP, what key combo? Since I get phone bootloader unlocked warning! right after powering on the phone, do I press the combination right away or after the warning shows up? I've been trying to boot custom recovery for hours, this is just silly...
Put simply I can't seem to get into TWRP I just flashed so I can install SuperSU from SD card to root my phone...
I have tried older TWRP version too, didn't help.
Phone is Huawei P9 EVA-L09, Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0, tried both TWRP versions from here: https://dl.twrp.me/eva/
After flashing twrp you should special reboot to twrp. Adb command reboot with pushing vol + and at the same time disconect usb cable. Check this on twrp official

How will I do anything with adb if I'm in fastboot mode? Only fastboot commands work...
Maybe you thought fastboot reboot and key combos, but which combos are correct? The TWRP official page says I should Google for key combo (how come they don't know lol, I guess they had to test the bloody thing?) and I have googled but some people say it's power down, some up, some both, what the f? When I think I got it right I get stuck on Device is booting now...
I've just tried this:
Flash TWRP 3.1.0-0-eva again over ADB
fastboot reboot + VolUp held and USB cabble plugged out
Stuck forever at Device is booting now... (below the Unlocked bootloader warning).
Ofcourse fastboot.

Solved this part by using this TWRP version:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/twrp-t3565703
The button combination to enter TWRP on P9 EVA-L09 EMUI 5.0 is - Power and Vol+ buttons held while fastboot reboot command is issued in CMD and USB cable unplugged, all at the same time. After device vibrates you should release only the power button. When you see 'Device is booting...' you can release Vol+ too. TWRP should now boot.
Now on to root...
Solution:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/twrp-3-0-2-0-n-t3506947/post70927601#post70927601
After flashing EMUI 5.0 EVA-L09C432B378 and update B378_update_data_full_hw_eu and wiping my phone (wipe data/factory reset - yes this was probably stupid without backup or anything), it boots fine but there is no keyboard app, only useless voice control. This wouldn't be a problem if I could get past EMUI welcome screen and install keyboard.apk manually but it won't allow me to use the phone until I log into Google account which I used on the phone before factory reset. It doesn't allow me to access SD card or anything either, doesn't even ask for permission when plugged in. Flash process also rewrote TWRP recovery so I only have eRecovery atm (bootloader is still unlocked but this is useless at this point). I also cannot enable Dev options/USB debugging or reach phone settings (all reset to default obviously) at all because I can't get past EMUI welcome wizard without a keyboard... I can use dialer keypad in emergency call mode before starting the welcome wizard, for example I just checked my IMEI, but most other commands don't work.
Any ideas? I read that there is a rollback version which will enable me to flash the previous EMUI/Android6.0 version, but which rollback is right for my device European EVA-L09C432B378 phone? I don't want to get into more trouble by flashing a wrong file...

Func NO: 11 (recovery image)
Error NO: 2 (load failed!)
Am I screwed ? :0

Don't understand why you thought that relocking bootloader would help you to enter TWRP, but it's too late for discussions about.
Relocking bootloader trigers hard reset, but hard reset fails if you don't have stock partititions (eg, TWRP means you don't have stock recovery, root means you don't have stock boot partition).
You didn't have and you don't have OS (hence you will not be able to Unlock OEM, and if TWRP was deleted, you can't flash it - TWRP is usually needed to recover)
You should first find out what you really have now :
Press power for long (if needed, even for half a minute), to make sure phone switches off. Make sure USB is disconnected. Boot by Vol+, Vol- and Pow: does it boot to TWRP, eRecovery or to nowhere?
Turn off again, connect by USB to PC (same USB cable, same PC you previously flashed TWRP from or locked/relocked your bootloader from). Power on by Vol- and Pow, does it boot to Fastboot and does Fastboot say that FRP and Bootloader are locked or unlocked.
If you still have TWRP (first test) or if Bootloadr and FRP are unlocked (test 2) in which case you can flash TWRP -you are good, you can try some methods to install stock ROM through TWRP, like HWOTA method:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75787156&postcount=3
If you have eRecovery, you can pull out SD card and pepare it for DLOAD instalation of ROM.
Bad if you don't have any recovery and FRP and/or Bootloader is locked. Maybe DC Phoenix can help you then

Thank you so much for your answer @zgfg
Thanks to you I understood that the phone was never really turning off no matter how long I press (I tried for 1 min approx), so I left it to discharge and when I plugged in I pressed the 3 buttons and it "boots" to EMUI eRecovery. Then I tried the download and restore but it failed of course. I reboot with USB and Vol- and Pow, and it loads the white screen with

So I understand that I am in this case right?

With FRP Unlocked you can try to unlock Bootloader - it will fail to hard reset, but if it unlocks, you will be able to flash TWRP.
With TWRP you can try - download and use stock ROM for your model:

I did a "fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-1-eva.img" but I still can't access TWRP
Sorry if it is a noob question, I'm learning and I looked for an answer all day long

Are you on P9 Nougat?
Better use TWRP from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75787111&postcount=1
Nevertheless, what does it mean you cannot access TWRP - does Fastboot on the PC side report successful flashing?
If so, then
- keep USB connected to both phone and PC
- press and keep pressing Vol+, Vol- and Pow on the phone (it will not reboot yet)
-execute fastboot reboot
and immediately after disconnect USB
-keep presing three buttons as above, release Pow when it shows booting
You must be quick (with USB disconnectibg) and do exactly as above - with that phone should reboot to TWRP
If you don"t get it, phone will reboot to System and you will loose TWRP (you will have to flash TWRP agai)
Only when you first time upon flashing enter TWRP as above, TWRP will remain and later you will be able to enter TWRP as usual
Solution
For anyone pretty much, who has ****ed up his Huawei P9:
I got to the state where I could only enter Fastboot mode (Press vol- and connect power cable). When I tried to start the phone / go into recovery it would only display the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" Message. My mistake was to relock the bootloader in an attempt to get the recovery to work.
I looked for hours for the answer, here is what worked for me:
follow this tutorial (the "update firmware" part)
German
English
But with real precision, every step.
If you have a european unbranded L09 you should be fine using the firmware you can find on this site:
https://thedroidguru.com/download-install-huawei-p9-b394-nougat-update-europe/
if not you gotta find the full firmware (3 files!!) yourself - good luck!
If you only want to go back to stock you should be fine afterwards.
If you want to install twrp for root/custom rom/... follow these steps after installing twrp with the tool:
Upon flashing TWRP, FIRST THING YOU MUST DO is rebooting to TWRP. If you don't do that, stock Recovery will ovewrite TWRP.
Find instructions in the TWRP threads how to enforce immediate booting to TWRP, upon you flashed it:
-Type on the PC: fastboot reboot -but don't press Enter yet.
-Press and keep pressing Vol+ and Power buttons together on the phone
-Press Enter on the PC and then immediately unplug USB cabel.
-When phone shows Booting, release Power but keep pressing Vol+. button
Hope this helps, I don't take responsability for anything, happy flashing!
Here’s what you need to fix your P10/P10+ brick.
This method was tested on a bricked P10 (didn’t test on the P10+)
Bootloader already unlocked + Code (no need of twrp)
SD Card
Custom recovery (fix the entire update process)
Stock rom UPDATE.APP from update.zip and update_full_xxx-xxx_hw_xx.zip
for your P10 + P10+ (choose the one you want to install, no need to be the one that come from with your P10, it could be the most recent one but linked to your exact model)
Be patient
Extract the stock rom update.zip and update_full_xxx-xxx_hw_xx.zip, both have an UPDATE.APP,
we are going to flash the one from the update.zip first and repeat the same process for the update_full_xxx-xxx_hw_xx.zip one.
(1)Get ready your SD card
Insert your SD card on the PC, create a folder at the root and name this one dload, move the update.APP from the update.zip
to the dload folder.
(2)Boot your phone in fastboot (Hold Vol- + Power) USB cable need to be plug
Launch terminal on OSX or Windows with adb/fastboot
Write the command fastboot flash recovery customrecovery.img
(3) Before rebooting your phone, insert your sd card that contain dload folder (update.app stock rom from update.zip) inside your P10/P10+
Turn off your P10/P10+
(4) Unplug the USB cable and hold vol+/vol- 5 to 10 sec or (until you see the message this device can not be trusted)
(5)Now the custom recovery updater should trigger and your P10/P10+ is updating, wait until 100% (it restart by itself).
(6)Your P10/P10+ should now boot without problem (bootloader locked)
(7) Is not finish yet, you are going to face NRD90M Test-keys that is normal, you simply need to
flash your cust.
(8) For that, we repeat the same process than before but instead of using the update.app from update.zip, you use the one from update_full_xxx-xxx_hw_xx.zip and replace the one you have on your sd card (dload folder)
(9)reboot your P10/P10+ in fastboot (with of course USB cable plug and hold vol- + power)
There you simply write the command, fastboot oem unlock yourcode. Your phone is going to reset to unlock back your bootloader and you need to go back to fastboot
(10) after that, you reflash again the recovery with customrecovery.img using the command fastboot flash recovery customrecovery.img
and you reboot again in the custom recovery mode (same than before) there the P10/P10+ is updating again, take a few secs
(11) the P10/P10+ will restart and boot in the UI, congrats.:good::good:
P.S : This process was not possible without proper change in recovery and manipulation, hopefully it help you
to recover your brick.

This sound interesting if this method is working both P10 and P10+. It mean that we can rebrand all of L09 models to L29 easily. Am i right? No more FunkyHuawei.

Not sure about the rebranding, for that you need to mod your oem info and product/vendor id.
There is no need of FunkyHuawei, I actually don't support those kind of forcing.

the command to relock is fastboot oem relock yourcode.
Now about your issue, did you try a wipe cache/wipe factory/reset, go into the stock recovery and do a wipe cache/wipe factory reset.

Thanks about the relock command. I'll try it when I recover my phone.
I tried that, but it's like I don't have the full system installed, I tried a "full" ROM on the first flash, but I don't think it was actually a full rom, it was too small, I wanted to try another one, but the file being over 4gb I can't even copy it to a fat32 sd card... If I find another version that is a little smaller, maybe I could try, but now I only have erecovery, can't access anything else, hope it's enough.

I'm having a problem at step 4, it says software install failed right after 5%.
Just to confirm what I did. Press all 3 buttons (vol up, vol down, power) on until screen shows message.
Guys check this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108 it will flash the complete FULL Firmware and you also got your bootloader closed again

I'm having the same problem, can someone send me the files to the VTR-L09 C432? Or maybe the VTR-L29 if my phone supports it, I'd like the dual sim feature.
Just to make sure I'm using the right firmware.
If I find a solution I'll share it here as well btw.

Does it work for P10 Plus (VKY) ? I only see VTR oeminfo/recoveries files in the zip.
Edit : I went ahead and renamed everything in the VTR folder to VKY (except for eominfo files, since I just want to update), and it worked ! Updated from VKY-L29C432B123 to B130

I think it is the FULL OTA required.

Really interested in this one too. Do you have any additional information please? As I just have plan to pull the trigger on funkyhuawei method during the next weekend... But of course I would rather use this manual method if possible.
Guys, did you flash the custom recovery before trying to update.
You really need to flash the stock recovery with the custom recovery, this fix the 5% update fail.
You can also flash recovery2 with.

Write that you need to extract customrecovery.img from customrecovery.zip. That would be understandable.
Hi,
does this work - i bricked my Huawei P10 with VTR-L29C432B113 firmware like this
Installed TWRP and i flashed magisk.zip -> that worked for a while
But on next phone reboot it says there is no space on the storage 0%
Now i cant do anything - phone is not usable..
Exept booting twrp and fastboot&rescue mode wich shows
PHONE unlocked
FRP Lock
When i try to
fastboot flash boot boot.img it says that stupid message command not allowed..
I tried to put in a SD Card with the folder dload and an update.app on it in and tried to flash it via VOL+ and VOL- but that fails
Does the provided method work or what can i do?
Thanks! chrizz
1. I have successfully requested and unlocked my 4x.
2. I wanted to install: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-4x/development/rom-2017-08-07lineage-14-1-t3653016
3. First step, install TWRP following this: https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomiredmi4x.html (Fastboot Install Method (No Root Required)
3a. Using version: twrp-3.2.1-0-santoni.img as downloaded from the twrp site
3b. After many reboots and tries, finally get into TWRP. Password not accepted at first, press cancel, get to TWRP menu.
3c. Wipe->Advanced Wipe->System,Cache,Dalvik's/Art cache. Swipe, then get errors. Try again, errors. Press reboot option.
4. 4x OS will not boot. It is stuck in endless cycle of Mi logo, and recovery/TWRP boot (vol+ and power) does not work. Only way to break Mi logo is fastboot (vol- and power).
5. Try to reset phone so I can start entire process (starting at 2) all over again following this: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
5a. Used this version: http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=mido_global&b=X&r=global&n=
5b: Edited the flash_all.bat following this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_osMF9EubhI
5c. Left fastboot mode, device will not power on at all.
And as I type this I realize I put on the "Note 4x" instead of the "4x" version. I should have used this version: http://update.miui.com/updates/v1/fullromdownload.php?d=santoni_global&b=F&r=global&n=
As a potential next step I've identified: http://en.miui.com/thread-693884-1-1.html
I need some expert guidance at this point. Thank you.
Recovery is both volume keys plus power.
Maybe you should reflash firmware as well(v32).
you can try it
download and install last version ADB https://dl.google.com/android/repository/platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
enter to TWRP both volume + power. after choose Advanced - ADB Side load .. run it
run command line on PC after: adb sideload /path/to/rom.zip
wait while rom will be installed... press Reboot to System (if TWRP don't reboot byself)
wait near 5-10 min for first time rom startmust work.

you know,, if you install twrp,, the combination key vol up+power cannot work,,, he work if you hold vol up+vol down+power until MI logo then realease.
This sounds a hard brick to me.
Every replies about Fastboot and Recovery are pointless, because he cannot start the phone in Fastboot.
either it's hard bricked or motherboard stopped working after the wrong flash.
i think you should give it try on test point method once as you have mentioned in this thread (do it on your risk) or you may have to visit service center since any button combination isn't working for you.
what is the status of device when connected to PC or on charge ? is it charging ? does led light blinks ?
I used the guide I posted in OP to fit it, though it wasn't easy. Gonna try lineageOS one more time. Thanks to all who tried to help.
I had this same. I saved my phone using this toturial:
and
