Hi Can someone please advise me if I can root this model phone (I9000DTJP3). All I am interested is to get Darkys 8.0 ROM into my mobile.
I am unable to find any instruction for this particular model anywhere. I am just starting to learn different jargon's.
Please post me any link to step by step instructions on rooting.
I have official firmware Froyo 2.2 on my mobile which got updated through samsung kies.
I have also managed to fix my 3 combo button issue. So I have recovery/download console access. If anything goes wrong, is there any way I can take a backup and restore the backup later?
Thanks very much for any assistance.

Hi,
I need to know more detail. Your firmware code is DTJP3. Where you from?
Tmobile branded? Vibrant or I9000?

Can somebody please help me create a Step by Step procedure for DUMMIES to get an out of the box galaxy tab P1000N with Froyo 2.2 upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.3?
I couldn’t find such a step by step installation guide anywhere and I am really confused with the process.
As far as I understand the steps are:
Root the device with Superoneclick
Apply patch to bootloaders (I don’t know if this step must be performed or not)
Flash a room with Odin 1.7 (What do we flash and how?)
It would be great if someone can create a pack with all the necessary files.
Thanks
hi guys...i am looking for a full dump for samsung galaxy s i9000m to flash my phone to stock...please help!
If your phone is rooted, download Spooffw from the market, follow the instructions to spoof your firmware to jl2 and once you complete the steps, connect to Kies and it will install stock kg3 right from Samsung

thanx for your reply, my phone was not rooted, i bricked it trying to downgrade from gingerbread 2.3 as it had network issues. however i can get it to go to download mode, but i require a full dump to return it to stock by performing a jtag. do you have a full dump for your i9000m?
or can you send me a link for a 818 pit file for use with odin? i'd appreciate it alot!
Hi All,
I have sold a rooted tab to someone however they would like to return the tab to the original software, the person has little rooting skills so I was looking for a easy guide on how to do it, if anyone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance :good:
you can start by telling what model of device you have.
There is more than one Galaxy Tab 7" model.

Oops sorry! P1000 16gb.
depending on how far have you modified your device (i.e. do you have CWM recovery) and all, different steps can be taken.
But the most direct way is to download your stock firmware from samfirmware
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
Install Odin and flash it.
If you are not picky about which firmware to put, then follow overcome guide step by step, just the "re-stocking" steps of putting GB-stock-safe-v5
up until the Odin success and reboot
Go to overcome site
http://www.teamovercome.net
Read the guide,
Missing pictures can be seen here.

Follow the picture step by step.
Basically to restock:
Download GB-stock-safe-v5.zip, unzip it and and flash with ODIN according to the guide.
I am complete a noob when it come to rooting a phone and wanted to know how I could do it to my Note 3. After reading some post about it I am completely confused. I have an AT&T Note 3 N900AUCUEOC2 running lolipop 5.0. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
1) Download Odin 3.10.0
2) find NC2 stock Firmware
3) flash nc2 using odin (in AP slot, find the .tar.md5 file)
4) follow this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-att/general/root-lollipop-att-note-3-safestrap-t3132475
so, is currently this the unique way?
This doesn't work I've tried this 2 times both fail and root checker says it's not rooted...
