Yes, It will work, both have the same battery. The back cover of H815 with wireless charging chip will not work on H818.

Really stupid idea in reality, as the two packs won't be matched at all.

Standard xda protocol to come off as an ass lol but I tend to agree. What keeps it from draining 1 to 10% and the other to 70%? Then, which one does android read? There is nothing in android that knows how to charge 2 battery's at the same time so one or both might never reach 100%. Its a really cool idea, but would love to see some full drain screenshots and recharge screenshots.
My hates off to you though for truly thinking outside the box

I said this year I was going to be nicer on XDA but I've found it's basically impossible sometimes..
Anyway, yeah, two batteries are going to each have their own levels, their own capacity, and their own chip that says their capacity. I doubt you can just cram two of them together and the phone make any sense out of it. Batteries aren't dumb anymore, they provide data to the phone as well and that data would be wrong.
Yeah, but at a week. I'd throw out the accurate battery stats, and take the week! Lol.

Can someone post the link to the original source? I'd like to know if their setup still works and some howtos.
I tried with two batteries connected in parallel, such as this one before mentioned can not be charged together. Only one is filled to 100% though batteries are not stupid but when they charged separately and then join they have much longer capacity but it is impractical. it is easier to take lg l90 zerolemon battery and put in g2
Sorry for my bad english
I wish there was possible to put LG l90 lemon battery on our LG g2. Has anyone done that?
LG L90 uses the same battery bl-54sg / sh as LG G2 F320 with s/l/k so it should be able to. I will order the battery in two weeks, so when it comes I will see whether it will work. I will write whether it is successful.

For d802 version you have battery case
http://zerolemon.com/product/zerole...-battery-case-removable-3500mah-battery-pack/
So there is no bigger battery with the same flex cable connector? Would be so nice.

LG G4 H815 Spare battery

Hello.
Im searching for a spare battery + charger for my LG G4 H815, i search on ebay but im a bit confused, some sellers say: "Compatible : Only LG G4 F500" and others say: "Compatible LG G4 F500; H815;etc.
So my question is, the batterys are diferent for each model or they are all the same? maybe the different compatibilities are in the charger, no?
Batteries are all the same. Only chargers are different, but that has nothing to do with the phone model or the battery.
Search BL-51YF battery.
It's compatible with G4 and G Stylo

Quick Charging

Does the LG G4 have quick charging?
I've heard that the LG G4 has quick charging capabilities, but I haven't been able to get fast charging like on my note 4 so far. I'm using an OEM Samsung Note 4 Fast Charger (which activates fast charge on Note 4). Time from near empty to full is around 1:50 for me

I bought 3rd party Quick Charge 2.0 adapter, while I haven't really timed the charging time, but it is definitely faster. I will try to time it next time, but heard that it should take about 1h and 40 min.
Yes it does. The charger that comes with the LG G4 is a standard charger though.
I purchased the Anker 18W quick charger and it charges my G4 substantially faster than the stock charger which I used for a few days prior to receiving the Anker. I haven't documented the charging times, although the difference is very noticeable. I'm using the stock USB cable because it is longer and I like the nubs which aid in inserting the plug in the proper direction.

Samsung Fast Charger is not the same as Qualcomm Quick Charge.
Yes it supports qualcomms quick charge abilities. But many reviews online show it's slightly slower than Samsungs fast charge and it can be very picky on adapter used.
The G4 does have quick charge capabilities. It is very quick to charge, however if you don't use the stock charger it most Lilley won't quick charge. However I have noticed with updates the range of adapters it accepts has increased.
Hope that helps.

As far as I know, the stock charger which comes with the LG G4 is not Quick Charge 2.0 capable, and won't utilize the LG G4 quick charge 2.0 capability. You need to purchase a Quick Charge 2.0 charger.

Every article back in May stated that the LG G4 didn't come with a quick charge 2.0 charger, including my purchase back in July. Every post I've read on xda, others have had to purchase a quick charge 2.0 charger to take advantage of the LG G4's quick charge capability. If you have one, it would appear that current LG G4's are coming with one stock in the box, if you got yours recently. Others can confirm whether this is the case.

Or maybe the user that claims to have stock quick charger in the box, can show us a picture with specs info that is printed on the AC Adapter.
The stock charger I got was 1.8mah output max. Using battery monitor widget, the best utility for this type of thing, it would max out at 1800mah. Not bad. Full charge in about 1:45.
I purchased a tronsmart quick charger, and the max charging amperage measures 2100mah. Full charge in about 1 hour. Good times.
The charger that came with mine is 1.8mAh. QC2 is 2.0mAh. Also, QC2 has to be enabled in the kernel, which to the best of my knowledge, it is not.
That said, a QC2 2.0mAh ac adapter does speed up charging some, but not at the speed s of true QC2.
Since the H811 is one of the few variants with an unlockable bootloader, I had hoped kernel dev would help us out. :\

Wonder if they changed it in the 81110N update. In the past the apps I checked with told me it was not. Checking.
Also, please clarify what in that screen shot confirms QC2.0? Thanks

Cool. I think they must have enabled it in 81110n. In 81110H I would get a warning from the app that my kernel qas not qc 2.0 enabled. I think it was with Ampere. I no longer see that message. I have the Aukey qc 2.0 block.
Of course it is pretty much a moot point for me now. I got into Wireless charging with a Yootech tag and charging puck

I've never really timed it but it is not bad at all. And the convenience of just plopping the phone on a puck is so nice compared to screwing with the micro-usb plug. Wish we had usb-c.
With wireless charging, I was able to get ~800mah. So far less than wired charging for obvious reasons, but not bad.
maH are far more useful a measurement. But it does taper down as % battery full increases.

Suggest External Powerbank for LG G4

Hello,
I was having MI Slim Powerbank 5000mah, but it was not performing well with my LG G4 device, kindly suggest me some best compatible powerbank that can easily work with my LG G4(H818P) including fast charge maybe.
regards :good:
I have THIS and it works great
The Xiaomi powerbanks are known to be cheap and very high quality. There's no real reason to buy anything else.

intenso.de power bank 5000 mah fast charger suported
I have the 16000mAh Xiaomi Mi Bank which supports my G4 (with fast charge)
A friend of mine has an EasyAcc powerbank with 12000mAh which also works very well with my G4 and his iPhone (although it couldn't charge my iPod classic)
I have THIS ONE - not cheap, but if you want the King Daddy! - I don't scrimp when it comes to battery power when camping or at the beach!

Yes, it is over twice as long as yours, 10,000 mAh vs 22,000, this is why it is King Daddy!!

You do know charging it fast isn't good. Regardless of these so called Quick Charge Tech Charing batteries at a fast rate isn't good. They need to charge at a slow rate.

How do you know this? I'm sure they don't need to charge slowly. Plus charging slowly when you're out and about and your phone is about to die isn't really productive

yes if out and about quick charge is fine but at home slow charging is the right thing to do. For example, I charged my original battery with my battery charger and with my USB Charge. Now with my battery charger I got 5hours of SOT time (that's with the screen on the entire time) and with the USB I got 3. So yeah what now! My test proves that slow charging is better

I doubt it makes that much of a difference. Since quick charging usually only helps the most from 0-60%. Your one test is proves nothing so ha
