I just took a picture and I can't root anymore...
I use - volume and power but nothing...
erm.. rooting has nothing to do with taking picture o.o..
i assume u haven't root your phone, could u be more specific on what's going on with your phone, like what do you see on the screen now, did u try to reboot ur phone?

hi guys,
My Xperia V got bricked and i tried to recover it but i cant. There is no help from Sony in my country as model itself doesn't got released here. Now im replacing its mother board by the help of local service technician.
He told it will cost 140USD. I want the mobile back urgently so i accepted it. But i fear whether he will replace it with original qualcomm's or some duplicate ones.
So i need your help regarding finding your device hardware info's by using the app "ANDROID SYSTEM INFO".
Use that app and post your hardware values here(like cpu, frequency, ram, PCB ... etc).
I will compare your values with my device once it got done and will verify the board.
Most of the hardware info's are available in internet i know but i wanna confirm that new motherboard with this app.
Urgently required. Please consider this and help.
Any other better suggestions to verify the mother board are most welcomed. Thanks
how can it brick? mine same too but im able to solve it by flashing it back... lucky that my V still alive...
I sent you a private message with a link to my phone info. Deleted the only info about the sim card and IMEI. I could not paste it here.

Hey Guys.. I Created this thread for discussing S-OFF for our Desire C (obviously) ... Recently I contacted HTC Devs and here what they say ...
Dear Reinel Caluag,
Thanks for contacting HTC Philippines
we appreciate your continuous attentions with our products and services. We understand that you wanted to have an S off for your HTC Desire C.
For us to easily solve the issue, we would like to get the exact make and model of the handset. And it would be best if you could provide to us the IMEI or the serial number of your phone for proper documentation of your account with us. You may usually get the IMEI on the sticker at the back of the handset or by dialing *#06# on your phone’s dialer.
Regarding the concern, as we gathered some information, S-on or security on is a feature on our device where the system software of the handset is protected. For this, since you mentioned that you've already unlocked the bootloader of the handset and you still have S-On, we will raise this concern to our management for us to know how you can get S-off. For the meantime, please do expect another email response about updates and resolution for the said concern.
Please let us know if this information was able to help you. If not, kindly inform us the issues you have encountered. Should you need further assistance, you may give us a call at 1800-14410789 for PLDT or 1800-89086588 for Globe. You may provide your customer ID number “ for us to easily pull up your account. And our business hours are from Mondays to Sundays, 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
On the other hand, if we have successfully answered all of your concerns, you may close the ticket by accessing the links provided as well as for proper documentation of your account with us.
Once the ticket is closed, you will be receiving an invite for a survey. We would greatly appreciate if you can participate on a quick survey regarding how we were able to assist you with your concern.
Thank you for making business with us. Have a nice day!

Good, Its good to see the HTCDev team showing even the slightest support for the Desire C

Excuse my noobishness, but I don't really see the point behind getting s-off for our phone. I understand it will enable us to flash kernels from recovery mode itself and we can flash radio images to our phone (which I think is risky and i would never try that). And we can flash a different bootloader. But with it comes great security risks, and the possibility to actually hard brick our phones. So given a choice, I would still opt for S-on. Flashing kernels through fastboot is not that much of a problem, it hardly takes any time. Is there something I'm missing regarding S-off?

nah! my Device before got an S-off i flash kernels through recovery without having any problem... S-off is Safe ... but if you dont know what are you doing you'll end up in a big problem ... :3 ... if we have S-OFF then it means we will have a chance to get DUAL BOOT!! ..

yeah ... !!
My turn to state an opinion. IMHO dual booting is a bad idea. It takes up more space than it should. The only benefit i see from it is as a test enviorment.
Like have your main rom setup, and then flash test builds of other roms alongside it. But that is the only benefit.
Isn't different bootloaders device specific? If so who will be the advanced dev guy that will port/build them for us?
Im supporting s-off, but highly hesitant whether it will be of much use on a such low end device.

I am not sure about Dual boot.
becuse pico doesn't have S-off but a dual boot
I think they have s-off .. coz dual boot needs s-off because dual boot flash kernels through recovery... while us on fastboot

I agree with noahvt about changing splash screen and its so annoying having to turn on my PC to change kernel and we need to get a full touch cwm not twrp like 6.0.3.5

YAH! I KNOW!! Just do What we want -_-
Dear Reinel Caluag,
Thanks for contacting HTC Philippines
Thank you for the information that you have provided. Regarding the concern, as we've checked our resources, we found out that we don't need to turn the security off to accomplish the basic installation of custom ROM. Security on by default is good for some reasons, it protects the system software configuration such as radio, boot, recovery and system. However, once you've unlocked the bootloader of the handset, you will have lifted the restrictions of the handset and you have the means to customize boot, recovery and system images on your phone as you desire. For this, we are sorry to say that our management did not give the exact information on how to turn the security off. But as for coordination, normally, once you've unlocked the bootloader of the handset it will automatically have S-Off and developers would easily access or toggle the options on the phone specifically with Security off and on.

EDIT: for my asus transformer it was so easy just unlock the bootloader and i was flashing a new bootloader immediately after that why does HTC have to make it this hard :\

Can you please help me, ROM is working like a charm, only problem i have is that wifi is loosing connection every few seconds?
Do you know what should i do?
Thanks in advance
Its LineageOS ROM for j320fn
Guys try to install this build, stable and all works.
Nobody didn't report any problems with this build:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B35NGYJEHn3cb0tMT3ZOTEhxNWs/view
No f2fs support so you need to reformat all f2fs partition to ext4.
I'll hope that works :fingers-crossed:
I tried this rom, its working perfectly, but im still facing the same problem with wifi getting disconected randomly. Its connected for some time and in one moment it just go like "no connection, connected, no connection...." And it cant be stoped.
For now this bug(if I can name it like 'bug') only happen on a few phones, so I don't know why this happen, but in most cases are wrong WiFi router configuration

Won't boot into the new recovery mode
Hi,
I have a problem on my samsung galaxy j3 2016 SM-J320w8. where I install TWRP using Odin on my pc and when I press Home + Power + Volume Down it doesn't put me into the TWRP Recovery Mode it just stays on the screen show The Model of the phone and it gives me a little message in RED that says "RECOVERY IS NOT SENDROID ENFORCING"
I was wondering if anybody has had this problem and if they have a fix for it.
I've tried different versions of official and non-official versions of TWRP and CWM and they all give me the same error.
I don't know if this could just be a region issue because I'm in Canada.
