I've installed on CAM-L21 (ALE-L21). The overall performance is good, but I don't see difference between 4.1 and 4.0.
How to rollback to original EMUI?

Are you using costum recovery?
If you do, just download the EMUI 4.0.3 and flash it there!
Simple as that

If I remember correctly, the huge new must have thing in EMUI 4.1 is that you can... enable no disturb mode with volume keys.

Ok, I'll check that.
I've already installed original ROM for CAM-L21 - C900B191 (although it has EMUI 4.1.3). I would like to rollback to Android 5.0 because I have problems with bluetooth smart devices e.g. heart rate monitor.

My post was a joke, you shouldn't check it. (Though it was only real difference I found.)
Hello guys i wanted to ask that has anyone tried substratum's rootless add-on for oreo to use custom theme. I can't decide on which phone to buy. I am stuck between Galaxy S8 and Nokia 8.
https://www.google.com.tr/amp/s/www...all-dark-theme-android-oreo-without-root/amp/
Yep, tried a few themes and they are working fine. And disabling a theme also works..
Thank you man really appreciated

If the system language is set to Dutch the Play Store will not be themed, it works in English though. The dev is working on that bug atm.

Obviously safe for OTAs as it's non root, however I assume themes would need disabled first?

How to replace Samsung Stock Emoticons with android normal ones?
I believe you have to be rooted, then just go to the play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stevenschoen.emojiswitcher&hl=en

I use Gboard so I get stock emoticons. At least I don't see a difference between them from my Nexus 6 to my note 8. (Both on 7.1.1)
Can you use substratum and it's themes without having to modify the phone i.e. root etc.
Basically want to try them but not void the warranty or anything.
You must use ANDROMEDA from Play Store. It's paid app.

Yeah I realized I had a theme bought a while back ago. Saw that it can give an Android P style look to 8.0. now desperate lol
May as well it try it xD. Was just afraid that I'd have to root my phone cause I'd not prefer to void my warranty especially hearing about the screen retention issue.

With root, sure.
I haven't gotten substratum to work and I'm rooted. It works like I can load up the app but I don't want to bootloop if I mess anything up.

what you do is enable native dark mode which works on system apps anyway(asus apps). apply substratum theme for downloaded and google apps. thats a better way.
