Keypad lights question. - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just need to know that why on usa note 4 models when we touch the screen the keypad light turn on while on international note 4 models the keypad lights only turn on while we touch keypad itself and wont turn on when touch the screen. I was just wondering that there's any way to edit and make usa models keypad light only turn on like international models. Thank you.

What are you TD2 users doing about accidental touches?

Just curious...in the TD1, I used S2U2 to avoid accidental touches to the screen but as the TD2 already has the side to answer/end .. what do you use now?
I'm having a few issues I did when I got the first diamond where if someone calls, or you call out via bluetooth, the phone screen turns on
Usually end up hanging up on someone when I call them because the screen touches the pouch/pocket etc
I think there are a few apps to disable screen apart from hard keys etc - just curious what the majority use

Is there a tweak for this in ACT? With my t pro when a call goes thru the screen goes dark almost immediatly, so I have the opposite prob as I need to use the kp to enter numbers sometimes. I could see where using bt it could be an issue tho.
I was wondering if the D2 came with a proximity or light sensor to disable/turn off the screen while it is against your face. I hate my Elfin.... I'm always pressing things with my face and getting into all kinds of menus.
My brothers Behold has sensors that shut the screen off. As of recently I have been pressing the power button to turn off the screen after I answer. Can't wait till mine ships on the 11th.

I asked the same question in another thread, and would be very curious about the answer, especially since gsmarena.com does not mention it as a feature, in comparison to the D1.
the iPhone has this feature...and I really can't imagine the D2 to do not have it. I hope I won't be surprised negatively.
i presume it does
Bearing in mind it automatically dims the backlight, and increases it. It must have one somewhere!.

I sure hope. I read that the Touch Pro2 has it so I'm hoping that the TD2 does also. If not that would be a shame. Good thing I'm getting used to pressing the power button right after I answer.
The D2 does come with a proximity light that dims the screen. If you look at the manual it's listed in the diagram specs page as well.

that sounds really great! but does it mean that it's inactivated too? dimming is indeed good, especially in the dark not to have a glowing ear - but i was wondering if, with the dimming, comes the inactivation of the screen too, in order to avoid accidental pressing of buttons with the ear/face.

Help! Answer key light!

Hi there,
My friend bought one HTC Touch Diamond. He said that the light of the answer key doesnt work. I allready sold my Diamond so i dont know well what say to him but i think that the answer key light only tor on when he recived a call! I'm correct or not?
I remember one thing. The light doesnt appers on allways so i'm asking you, when the answer key light turn on?
Only when he recive a call?
It depends with different roms?
Regards,
Pedro Vieira
The LED under the answer key lights up all the time, when you pull out the stylus, touch the smart wheel, etc. During a call it's flashing.
If only that LED's not working, than it's rather not a ROM issue.

[Q] Problem with touch buttons???

Hi Everyone.
I bought a Galaxy S 2, im very happy with it, but there is somethig about im worried.
The touch buttons (Menu and Back) have different light intensity. The Menu button is more bright than Back button. Is this normal? Should I return it for another one?

[Q] Black Model: No Backlight On Capacitive Buttons?

Hi all,
the capacitive buttons on my black HTC One do not light up. I couldn't find any setting which toggles the backlight or did I miss something?
Is this normal/different for the black version?
try covering the top part of the phone and see if it lights up.
i find its app dependent.. or so i thought. maybe it is just lighting?

[Q] Why doesn't the answering screen pop up when the display is on?

I have this problem with my S4 Active, and I had it with my Note 2, but I have never managed to find out why. The S4 is on the official ROM, only rooted, while the Note 2 had different ROMs: When I'm using the phone for surfing, or whatever, so the display is on, I don't get the incoming call screen where I can slide to answer or reject a call. I have to turn off the phone with the power button and wait for 3-4 seconds, and then the display will come on and show me the call screen. I have tried changing dialers, between original and a couple of different third party dialers, but it doesn't change anything. Has anybody else seen this, and do you know the reason or the cure?
Turned out to be Gesture Control, in all probability.
