I tried running the SP_Flash tool which ended up in the phone turning on while running the tool and failing, now every time i turn on the phone it gets stuck in the white screen with the logo in black, and at the bottom left corner it says TOOL DL Image FAIL! Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I used the flash tool to download a recovery onto the phone which ended up in the phone being stuck in boot. Thank you for responding
Take it for what its worth, but i was getting that error constatnly trying to flash my R1 originally, had to change to a differnt usb port. and it worked like a charm. (I was using front case ports, went to using back mobo ports)
It seems this problem has been abandoned.
I did encounter this error before, some time after the OP asked about it. My original answer to the problem was a bit too generic and not really helpful.
In my case each time I encountered this "TOOL DL image FAIL!" -- it seemed to be caused from bad connection at usb cable.
A second download from the sp flash tool fixed it.
also I noticed that I had better success rate of recovering from fail error when I flashed
1-lk.bin
2- boot.img
3- system
all together at same time.

The other method I used to flash past this error was to use miracle box to do the flashing.

I made a hard rest and stayed brick, I tried to revive it with the instructions of ColtonDRG, mrmazak, rootjunkysdl and I could not. I use a .zip file with sptool and it comes out TOOL DL image FAIL! Hi guys, I've been trying to send back my Droid 3 to Verizon, but every time I do the 1_click_SBF.exe the Android guy doesn't respond, and I get a "Master Clear error"-Operation Failed.
I think I may of bricked the phone. I get 0 connection to the network, and I also had failed aborted updates to the newest version multiple times and I don't know what to do.

Which SBF are you using? If you upgraded to 906 the 890 SBF won't work.
I believe 890 it would not let me update to the new software. I originally flashed from 906, and I'm now stuck on a broken 890 sbf.
Is there another way I can install a working sbf and delete all possible signs of root and get it working again?

No I simply meant by when you begin to activate a new phone you have to touch the android guy to begin activation, it just doesn't respond, and goes to Google log in settings.
The 1_click_sbf.exe file worked fine the first time I did it from the root. The phone and network was working. Once I tried to update the phone to 906 the update failed, and I've been stuck in limbo

if wiping data, does not help you could try, flashing radio.img
I would verify md5 check sums for one click.exe and update.zip first

I'm so dumb I just did it on my new replacement phone by accident and thought i fixed the issue

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it.. Had my bionic running ics just before the official patch. It had given me an error that the E: drive was corrupt. I formatted it and got it running again, after about a week and 1/2 it just stopped running.
Now I get the following screen,

No luck, get the below error.

The phone will not boot up, so how would I make sure.. When I go into fastboot and plug in the cord, it activates the USB connection and shows up, so I am assuming it is on. Drivers were downloaded and pickup my other Bionic.

But on one hand ..if your running fast boot now and its working.. Keep it going and see. If it start then u can update through android system settings. Or try fastboot ICS zip after. Let me know how its going. I'll keep thinking.

If you have the time. You can hook up your OTHER bionic to PC copy both your android SD Cards MOTO:F and MOTO G to your PC and try and fastboot the OTHER Bionic to ICS see if that works. You can then transfer info from back to correct drives on Your device. Takes a while to do though.
That would narrow things down with your mount issues.

Did RDS lite fail again or still running. And when you downloaded the Verizon Zip file..you left it zipped up? I hope. If you didn't...don't extract that file. Flash as is.

USE THE EASY INSTALLER not this firmware

this is firmware you need - you need to install via fastboot - theres no easy installer made for this (yet)- cant make untill school run done..... approx 2hrs from now

i use in Samsung phones to Odin and put the Room in Odin and put it in Download mode and Start and Boom its finish and its work fine

You just have to install the correct usb drivers for the phone and run the easy installer .bat file and it will flash the driver automatically.

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

2.MAKE SURE U HAVE TWRP 3
3.DOWNLOAD ROM
4.PUT IN SD OR INTERNAL
5.REBOOT INTO RECOVERY
6.WIPE SYSTEM,DATA,DALVICK,CACHES
7.INSTALL THE ROM REBOOT SYSTEM
8.WAIT UNTIL IT BOOTS
9.AFTER BOOT THE REBOOT INTO RECOVERY AGAIN
10.APPLY THE PATCHES IN ATTACHMENT

Storage and rom is not fluid and smooth as aokp

As you know some days ago, I posted a thread about H820 TOT firmwares. Sorry for late. Just wanted to do some clarifications.
Note: I want to clear you all out that all 3 firmwares have been read from my own H820 using a professional tool (Z3X LG Tool).

Use at your own risk. Everything should be clear.
Opinion:
If you are on 6.0.1 then first flash 7.0 and then 8.0 (Step by Step you know).
And use UPPERCUT for flashing. This is my personal opinion. You may know better.

Yes you can flash. Go to UPPERCUT thread. Download all the required tools from there. All instructions are there.

No, we can't, as the bootloader must be unlocked. By the way, did u try the firmware? is it working?

well, i tried to update it with UPPERCUT and have a black screen now.
I selected the file, update and everything went ok, until the last part when it says rebooting, then it turn off and never came back, i waited for an hour and nothing happend, but windows stills detect it .
I will try to use this metod https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/bring-lg-g5-to-life-download-mode-lgup-t3565508 but dont know if it will work

If firmware is corrupted, then how LG Firmware Extract tool is loading all the partitions from TOT?

If your phone is detecting by pc or goes to download mode, you can try SALT utility for LG which works on linux.
You can found easily on XDA in Android Software Development and Hacking section.

I also tried LGFirmwareExtract tool and it can't identify the firmware, you checked if the compresed tot is ok? (I apologize for my poor english)
Huh ... Thank to Allah ... My pc did not detect device otherwise i also flash my device and may also face device bricked situation ... Need some experts to look at this problem...
