Good to hear i was able to help. The "Google Play services has stopped" error persist on my sparkle v also but it pops up rarely(like once on 3-4 days). Its not a major problem until you can't download from play store or use any google service.

So.. When I able to use play store and login Google account?

Same problem with mine. Play service stopped cant access playstore and cant creat Google account either.

Hello Guys .. Now I port SystemUI G5 Style to LG Spirit H440​
QSLIDE ENABLED
HOW INSTALL​
1.- Download and Rename the systemuiG5ModH440 to original name "LGSystemUI.apk" (Make backup you old o original LGsystemUI)
2.- Now use some root explorer (My favorite y ES file Explorer) now go to rute
/system/priv-app/LGSystemUI (folder)/ ---> paste and reeplace and add this permissions.
3.- Finish .. Now reboot your phone and Enjoy the new systemUI G5 style :silly:

Now I'm stuck with system ui crashing all the time. I do have a backup of system ui, but I can't do anything because I made a mistake and deleted the system ui that was in use (the one in this thread). Do I need to factory reset now? Can't do it through adb either(unauthorized, can't accept it on phone because of system ui crashing).

Well that is now way better... If you want to shorten link use goo.gl and bit.ly (they are supported here).
Also I'm waiting for H440N version (or maybe would build it for myself with other tweaks)

EDIT: It works fine on H440N, and now I have one idea for you to do something with SystemUI (explained in General Thread why can't edit anything right now and for next moth or two) - add AOSP statusbar icons (from guglicap's edit) with yur G5 QS and other parts of SystemUI. Tnx in advance

su (accept it on phone)

This is method how I did it and it works fine.

TOOL DL image FAIL! BLU R1 HD

I tried running the SP_Flash tool which ended up in the phone turning on while running the tool and failing, now every time i turn on the phone it gets stuck in the white screen with the logo in black, and at the bottom left corner it says TOOL DL Image FAIL! Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

I used the flash tool to download a recovery onto the phone which ended up in the phone being stuck in boot. Thank you for responding

Take it for what its worth, but i was getting that error constatnly trying to flash my R1 originally, had to change to a differnt usb port. and it worked like a charm. (I was using front case ports, went to using back mobo ports)

It seems this problem has been abandoned.
I did encounter this error before, some time after the OP asked about it. My original answer to the problem was a bit too generic and not really helpful.
In my case each time I encountered this "TOOL DL image FAIL!" -- it seemed to be caused from bad connection at usb cable.
A second download from the sp flash tool fixed it.
also I noticed that I had better success rate of recovering from fail error when I flashed
1-lk.bin
2- boot.img
3- system
all together at same time.

IF YOU DID A FORMAT ALL FROM SP FLASH TOOL , THIS IS NOT THE PACKAGE YOU NEED.

The other method I used to flash past this error was to use miracle box to do the flashing.

I made a hard rest and stayed brick, I tried to revive it with the instructions of ColtonDRG, mrmazak, rootjunkysdl and I could not. I use a .zip file with sptool and it comes out TOOL DL image FAIL! And try with the miraclebox and nothing. Friends need help. hello mrmazak, I'm jotaj2504 I had previously asked for your help in the forum xda, https://forum.xda-developers.com/r1-hd/help/tool-dl-image-fail-blu-r1-hd-t3440261. at the end I did not keep insisting because I bought a cell phone and replaced it. but recently that plate was burned and I have again reinstalled the original plate. Well now I need your help again. the phone is blu r1 hd R0010uu 8 rom / 1 ram, amazon version which was corrupted in oem through the steps and files of RootJunky / Tom. the recovery was replaced by trwp. in a data cleaning the phone was bricked. because it does not block the boot. I do not know if you remember but you had a copy of your phone in miracle box. which try to install with it but if I succeed. I was giving TOOL DL image FAIL !. Could you please help me recover the cell phone? I have read many forums on the subject but I have not yet been able to fix it.

Yeah Gapps did work without issue when someone else tried maybe try updating.

This is not foulf of developer, Slim roms just doesnt contain it.

hello. i have LG V40 LM-v405UA with pie from Sprint. Can i Flash FW like V405EB20b_00_OPEN_IL_OP_0711.kdz on LM-V405UA?
how can i backup the original Firmware that came with the phone if something goes wrong? i believe boot loader is lock.

actually yes i'm from Israel.
but the reason i want to flash other FW is to use it in israel and get OTA updated in future. i belive v405ebw version is ok also.
but the question is if by flashing v405ebw or V405EB version wouldn't brick the phone?

ota in the future you will not receive in any case because the v405ua is updated only in America with sprint sim

i also saw here on xda that there was flash in v409n korea but there were problems with wifi because the models are a little different

when you flash the v405eb write here I will be interesting how it works and what languages are in this firmware

How can it be that Lg bridge software doesn't recognize the phone through USB cable.
And also the phone doest have fastboot mode?
