DISCLAIMER: IF YOU ARE FLASHING THIS ROM YOUR WARRANTY IS ALREADY VOID. I NOR ANYONE ELSE LISTED IN THE CREDITS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY FLASHING THIS ROM.
Hey all, good to be back. This is a build that I've been running myself. I am open to suggestions on things to add, but PLEASE DON"T ASK ME TO REMOVE ANY OF THE FEATURES I'VE ADDED. It becomes too cumbersome to try and make what I run, and to build a separate rom for release, I'm just not gonna do it this time, so don't ask.
***READ ME***FOR SOME REASON I CANNOT GET ALL THE MODIFICATIONS TO COOPERATE WITH THE ROM ZIP, YOU WILL HAVE TO INSTALL THE ROM, BOOT AND SET UP, THEN REBOOT TO RECOVERY AND FLASH VICARIOUSROMMODS.ZIP UNTIL I CAN FIGURE IT OUT
FEATURES:
POTATO GESTURES MOD
First, what this mod does is allow you to use gestures within your status bar. JUST SWIPE AND DOUBLE TAP ON THE CENTER OF THE STATUSBAR. ONLY FUNCTIONS THAT WORK ARE MUSIC GESTURES. SET DOUBLE TAP TO PLAY/STOP, AND SWIPE ACTIONS TO SWITCH TRACKS IN THE POTATO STATUSBAR GESTURE APP IN YOUR APP DRAWER. DO NOT REPORT SYSTEMUI FORCE CLOSES IF USING ANY OTHER FUNCTIONS. NOTE YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO SET STATUSBAR COLOR TO TRANSPARENT FOR THE GRADIENT APP TO WORK PROPERLY.
WHAT DOES NOT WORK:
CUSTOM STATUSBAR COLOR
SHOW AVAILABLE MEMORY
SLEEP
POTATO STATUSBAR GRADIENT MOD
What this mod does is allow you to select up to 4 colors for your stausbar. Transparencey is supported, and you can choose which direction the gradient goes
CPU SPIED
Yet another great mod from Potato Inc. This mod shows your CPU load as well as governor in your statusbar. Use the control app to toggle on/off and toggle governor.
MIUI BATTERY BAR
Yep, its an MIUI battery bar. Select different colors for different battery levels or go one solid color. Adjustable width, and animations.
3MINIT BATTERY MOD
This mod let's you choose from over 1200 battery styles, all support custom size, multiple choices include custom color, multiple choices of charging animation.
REMOVED SIGNATURE CHECKS
PRESS/LONG PRESS ON NOTIFICATION HEADER CLOCK FOR POWER BUTTON ACTIONS
LEFT ALIGNED CLOCK
REBOOT OPTIONS IN SETTINGS
REMOVED LOW BATTERY NAG
ADDED RAM BAR TO RECENT APPS VIEW
.25 SPEED ANIMATIONS
WAAAAAAAAAAAY MORE TO COME

Yeah I know what it is (I think lol). Gonna hopefully have everything in place in a bit. Since it's a problem with the mods which is way smaller I can have it uploaded faster
Okay got everything right finally, clean flash the new ROM zip, boot, set up, boot recovery, and flash the mods zip.
VicariousROM settings on the display, gestures, and buttons page.
3Minit battery settings unfortunately will also show in app drawer. Just hide it in your Launcher.
Updated, fixed issue with volume keys not working, there was an issue with advanced power menu and long press back to kill, Andy is gonna redo it and I'll re-upload.
Updated mod pack:
Reboot options in settings
removed low battery nag
added ram bar to recent apps view
.25 speed animations
Updated to new base, removed dormant data icons, added network traffic to status bar
Inverted notification drop-down should be up by morning
Updated
Inverted notification drop-down and notifications
Added pulsating new message and missed call notifications

To NicOsol:
I can report the same thing is happening to me. Long-press of the power button (to normally bring up the power menu) actually performs a hot-reboot.
I'm on the new version of this ROM, V2.0.
I had APM and Leedroid Tweaks installed, then installed your mod 'with tabs'.
Your mod knocks out the Tweaks mod, and hot-reboots rather than bring up the APM.
Reinstalling APM and the Tweaks mods, wipes out your mod...
To feed back on your mod aside from the issues with compatibility of others, it looks nice!
I'm mostly interested in the Status Bar icons, I like the blue battery and signal bars etc., and I like the blue 'bounce blur' in the menus.
Good effort.

Forgot to say that the theme with tabs is a hole theme! You don't have to flash without tabs first

Leedroid tweaks will of course remove the notificationbar tabs since the tweaks also edit the SystemUI.apk.

How to Install:
1. Download the ROM above.
2. While awaiting download, make a backup of your current rom and data.
3. When download finished, check md5 checksum.
4. Install a SAFE kernel or if you are already using a custom JB ROM, it's more likely that you are already in a SAFE kernel.
5. Reboot into recovery and make a factory reset, full wipe and format system, preload and data partitions.
6. Flash the ROM and reboot when finished.
7. Setup as needed and enjoy the rom. Don't forget to grant supersu permissions to integrated apps as it is important for the ROM to work fully.
8. I suggest not to restore your data and apps for the meantime. Play with the rom for a while and feel its vibes to make sure everything is working. Then you can restore whatever you need/want.
9. There are various settings integrated in Settings. Be sure to check them out and try them.
10. Long-pressing back button by default kills app instead of showing the multiwindow bar so be sure to check the setting that you like in Display settings.
11. Use Xposed Multiwindow Apps Manager to enable/disable multiwindow apps and also set the default window WIDTH and HEIGHT that you like. Please note not all apps are multiwindow-friendly so I suggest don't enable them like Camera, Calculator, FMRadio, Voice Recorder & Clock.
12. Use XTweakbox to set various settings like dual pane Settings, statusbar color and transparency, clock color, scrolling wallpaper, etc. More will be added in the next XTweakbox versions and also you may want to check out my XBackground app to change backgrounds for various system resources.
13. Use XquickSettingsToggles to theme your toggles in the notification panel.
ADDONS:
Black SecSettings.apk - copy to preload partition
* Enable minimize button - goto /system/etc/permissions folder and rename com.sec.feature.minimize.button.xml~ to com.sec.feature.minimize.button.xml

Xperia Arc-S/Ray/NeoV/Neo/Pro
based on cm10.2
WHY THIS ROM?
A rom which I enjoyed a lot, with many configuration options for all tastes and very good performance. And why this rom 4.3.1 and not a rom 4.4.2 KITKAT? mainly camera, this allows faster and with a "fake" 720p and has more compatibility with some applications, video recording, so a good alternative for those who do not want to have to put android 4.4.2 before being fully stable. This is a lighter version and quick but with plenty of performance and without bugs.
Watch the video that shows some options rom and quality, I could not put everything you can do, which is much the same thing customizable, even the characters in the bubble style, frame etc. .

@smokerman on OP you say ""mainly camera, this allows faster and with a "fake" 720p and has more compatibility with some applications""
can you explain it more please? when you say fake 720p is 864x480? or 720p with fair fps rate?

Icon mods might not work on phones that don't run off xhdpi (if you dont know what this is just try the mod and if icons are still default color in system bar you're out of luck unless you wanna resize all the icons in /res/xhdpi in every apk for the size your phone uses and copy them to the correct folder your phone uses.
This is the theme from my upcoming rom for the p930(NitroHD) built on CM 10.1.3. I decided to release the theme seperately since then it can be used on other phones unlike the rom.
to reverse the install of the theme just reflash CM installer.
if you only want part of the theme open the archive with 7-zip and replace the files you don't want themed on your phone with the original files from the cm10x installer flashable.
- note that most apps will need the updated framework to get the full benefit of the theme (almost every app on your phone borrows icons and drawables from framework-res.apk)
---Installation.
- flash zip from recovery and reboot
- (optional/recommended) wipe cache and dalvik (this step can fix a few minor lag and ui glitches if not performed and experience problems you can reboot to recovery and wipe cache and dalvik at any time)
- use the icon battery option in -settings-->system-->statusbar to get the moded circle with percentage indicator, if someone wants me to mod another battery icon just let me know but i probly won't bother with the built in circle batteries since i've already done one and its easier to mod the icon based indicator.
themed apps include
-Mms
-Phone
-Contacts
-Settings
-SystemUI
-keyboard (7.2+)
-email2 (7.2+)
-framework-res
- bonus is a custom battery animation that i pulled from someone who shared it that i can't remember the name of (was years ago) but if you are the owner just link me the original thread and i'll give you credit for it. (i couldn't find oringinal thread)
- custom spinner added
- neon blue keyboard gestures
- inclusive switches, radio buttons, check boxes (most not all)
- landscape keyboard screen moded
- toast frame moded
- power menu moded
- taking suggestions on improvements i can make
I'm aware of a few small bugs and inconsistencies
- the power menu is fully blacked out but the reboot menu is a lighter shade of black, looking for a fix.
- the odd grey writing usually in text boxes that haven't been activated yet
- still need to blackout the odd textfield
Please report if i missed icons or features that i may not use so didn't realize i missed them or if you have any improvement suggestions.
v7.0 link removed obsolete
beta
v7.2 link removed obsolete
beta
v7.3 link removed obsolete
(optimized apks for performance and zipaligned them for performance)
this will be the final update unless i find a fix for any of the minor issues or someone requests other icons or something
v7.4 link removed obsolete
(fixed reboot menu blackout and a few of the textfields, possibility of more textfields coming, hopefully i can find the one for the keyboard in landscape mode.)
(versions following 7.3 are all 0 compression and zipaligned (optimized for performance))
v7.6 link removed obsolete
blackout quicksettings tiles and notification background, along with fix for keyboard in landscape mode blackout. a few other minor fixes.
there are still some next boxes that i've found that don't have changed text color yet, working on it.
beta versions ^^
v7.7 (RC1) https://www.dropbox.com/s/svadw68thfmnw8m/Kronics-BlueMod-V7_7.zip?dl=0
fixed the toast notifcations (superuser/killapp/etc) notifications at bottom center, along with some other minor tweaks and more text color updates
fixed landscape keyboard and black text boxes showing up in apps that should have white text boxes. added screenshot of new landscape keyboard (gesture glow is also neon blue)
v7.8 (RC2) https://www.dropbox.com/s/5jxqc41fksosf9b/Kronics-BlueMod-V7_8RC2.zip?dl=0
added some updates to lockscreens
looking into gmail app (i dont use it so never noticed)
p.s. I disable the lights in the capacative keys because they drive me crazy and i dont need them to know where the buttons are. if you'd like to do this also push the file 80turnoffled to /system/etc/init.d/ or put it there using es file explorer. (unzip it first the file should have no extension when you put it into init.d) by the way this mod is for the p93x lg nitro hd, it might work on other phones not sure. should be safe to try on other phones just delete the file if it doesn't work
^^ that will save a small amount of battery life too, not sure how much power those lights use probably not much but everything helps.
standard disclaimer i'm not responsible if your phone blows up or something
reserve
releasing update later today that will include a neon blue spinner and if all goes well the email app, if goes really well keyboard too
uploading v7.2 right now and will provide the link when it's done, keyboard is done and email is done, spinner included, only problem is couldn't edit much of the body of email, just the bars and background and widget. The body might not be possible without enabling some sort of inverted setting because the body is contained in the email
also have not figured out how to edit the text background when the keyboard is in landscape mode, but i assume that this is possible, i'll hotfix when its ready.
added ss of keyboard
possible final version released
yay v7.6 fixed landscape keyboard and notification/qs bg
bump for rc1 release thx for the pm bug reports

The stock. I don't use home launchers or lock screen apps. Used to but the novelty wore off quick. Had this phone for about 3 years and mostly been just switching around from one to another ROM and never really found one that I liked and didn't have some slight issues. I hate lag.

i meant which stock lockscreen (ie pattern/pin/password/swipe/etc) I can't modify apps that go through playstore anyways since there is verification.
the two updates i still have in mind is a few of the lockscreens and the playstore icons and part of the playstore. (the playstore one will only work until there is a playstore update) i'll probly work on this tonight after work.

i forgot all about the gmail problem you told me about if u still want it fixed post a screenshot and what u want changed
Most of my mods are SystemUI mods and so if more than one is flashed, only the first one works. This ADB mod was created so a person could pick and choose what he wants and have it all in one module. That being said, I don't have this phone and this particular mod has not been tested by me (though I have similar mods on several other Pixel phone forums). You need root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation of systemui base, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so. THIS ONLY HAPPENS ONCE. If you miss the popup you will have to go into Magisk manager and give shell root permission there.
The purpose of this installer is to generate for you a custom module that you can flash in Magisk Manager. It will have all the mods that you have selected from the installer menu.
Zip installer is installed from your phone, not your pc. You will install the mods through Magisk app. Unzip the Zip Installer onto your internal sdcard. Like ADB installer, start with a SystemUI base. Do not reboot between selections as Magisk as shows after flashing selections (options are found inside the numbered folders). Hit the back button to make your next selection. Do not reboot thru Magisk until after you are done with your selections and have flashed the "Complete Installation" zip.
Custom clocks (date, etc) and internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors like the statusbar icons do.
I'm also including my Pixel Launcher mod. Also a ADB Installer. You can change app drawer background-text color (separately for light mode and dark mode), remove weather from Launcher. Change the number of hot seat icons on home page (and size) as well as change the number of columns in the app drawer. There is already a Pixel Launcher mod here but this is here fir those that don't want to use substratum.
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. Starting from the top (usually best), select the mods you are interested in. Once completed, select the "Finish building module" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip (mymagisk.zip) in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your custom module.
Root required
ADB Instructions.
1. Unzip the enclosed zip file onto your PC
2. ADB debugging in developers Enabled
3. Run TulsadiverModsInstallerStock.bat (Give ADB Shell Root Permissions. If missed on first opportunity, turn on in magisk manager, superuser)
4. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work. The only difference between the two bases is that you can change the color of the QS pulldown circle colors on the "color" base. Plus the "off" circle color isn't grey but instead the same as the "on" color only darker/dimmer.
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Complete Installation" at the bottom. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.
Root required
ZIP Instructions.
1. Unzip Zip Installer onto your internal sdcard
2. Flash thru Magisk app. Flash the SystemUI Base First. It provides the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work

3. Go through the other options selecting the mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.

Includes a batch (.bat), and powershell installers, one for windows, one for linux. I don't have a linux computer so the linux Installer could have bugs.
If you chose "Small Statusbar", you are not done yet You have to go to settings system/developer options/Display Cutouts and choose the last option, "waterfall cutout" in order for your mod to look right.

Downloading now, work hates AFH sadly so going through data on cell phone. Will post back after and add a screenshot with my setup. Can't wait to get rid of the battery icon and carrier text!

Removed previous mods and flashed newly created on.. Sitting at "Pixel is starting..." for a couple minutes now.

Funny enough, the phone is partially working, it just rang for a call but showed nothing except that message still lol. I installed the list below. I didn't see anywhere to select center clock in the build menus, is that the "small statusbar clocks" in Option 2?
Standard Base
Remove Battery Icon, Leave Percent
Remove Carrier Center Clock
QS 6 Column
Statusbar Data Icons Cell Tower 3
QS Data Icon Bar type 3
QS-Statusbar WiFi Icons 3
Waterfall Display
Gave it a few more minutes but ultimately removed modules with adb wait-for-device shell magisk --remove-modules. I'll give it another go if you think I missed something in the creator.

Yes, if you install the waterfall cutout i would select a clock from the option 2, "small statusbar clocks". Otherwise your clock and/or notifications will be off.
Try baby steps. Install just a base and see if that works.
Did you use the .bat file or powershell?

I see, there's a menu below option 2 in there. Might be handy to rename that to indicate there's another list instead of saying Install on it. I thought that was going to install a small clock instead lol.
Building now and will report back.
EDIT: Added the clock this time, left everything the same and had the same result. Wanted to see if the lack of center clock was throwing something off. I'll compile 1 part at a time and see which one is breaking it.
EDIT2: Rebuilt without battery icon removal and custom icons. Was able to boot but center clock didn't set, hoping I missed it. Carrier removal worked though. Recreating now WITH icon removal to see if it changes properly.
EDIT3: Rebuilt zip with remove battery icon and it wouldn't get beyond Pixel is starting again. I'm going to do another with just the base and remove battery icon to see if that is the cause.

It's remove battery icon. I just found it was bad.
Go to the bats/Batteriesinstallerstock.bat. change the code if %selection%==1, call bats\batt\removebatticon.bat to removebatticonstock.bat
Then try again

Was just typing a message about that. I figured I should check to see if those bats actually existed since the build happened in 2 second when I went to add it lol.
Downloaded, added and building again now.

EDIT: Update on options used
Remove icon - only got rid of half of the icon on the status bar, it's fully there in the notification shade
Center clock - not working
Custom data/wifi icons - working
Small statusbar with waterfall - working
Carrier removal - working

Center clock did nothing or not centered, or something else?
Are you saying there is half of a battery on the statusbar or just that it's not on the statusbar but it is on the qs pulldown?

Screenshots attached so you can see. Center clock didn't center at all.
EDIT: Doing it again without the custom icons to see if it removes the icon properly for the batter and centers the clock.
EDIT2: No change without custom icons.
Built with right clock, small statusbar, no battery icon, custom icons for data and wifi (option 3 for 20/21/22), remove carrier (noticed there isn't an option to remove carrier for left small clock)
Right clock not working either
I won't be in front of a computer for a couple hours but can do more testing then if you have any thoughts or ideas. I'll compile and test just clocks then to see if it's something there.

Nice find. Stuff like this is pretty picky. I've spent the last month building a series of batch files to assist with tech responsibilities at work and while it's fun it can be super nerve-racking when you misspell something like that.
I'll give it a whirl once the kids are in bed.
