Most of my mods are SystemUI mods and so if more than one is flashed, only the first one works. This ADB mod was created so a person could pick and choose what he wants and have it all in one module. That being said, I don't have this phone and this particular mod has not been tested by me (though I have similar mods on several other Pixel phone forums). You need root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation of systemui base, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so. THIS ONLY HAPPENS ONCE. If you miss the popup you will have to go into Magisk manager and give shell root permission there.
The purpose of this installer is to generate for you a custom module that you can flash in Magisk Manager. It will have all the mods that you have selected from the installer menu.
Zip installer is installed from your phone, not your pc. You will install the mods through Magisk app. Unzip the Zip Installer onto your internal sdcard. Like ADB installer, start with a SystemUI base. Do not reboot between selections as Magisk as shows after flashing selections (options are found inside the numbered folders). Hit the back button to make your next selection. Do not reboot thru Magisk until after you are done with your selections and have flashed the "Complete Installation" zip.
Custom clocks (date, etc) and internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors like the statusbar icons do.
I'm also including my Pixel Launcher mod. Also a ADB Installer. You can change app drawer background-text color (separately for light mode and dark mode), remove weather from Launcher. Change the number of hot seat icons on home page (and size) as well as change the number of columns in the app drawer. There is already a Pixel Launcher mod here but this is here fir those that don't want to use substratum.
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. Starting from the top (usually best), select the mods you are interested in. Once completed, select the "Finish building module" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip (mymagisk.zip) in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your custom module.
Root required
ADB Instructions.
1. Unzip the enclosed zip file onto your PC
2. ADB debugging in developers Enabled
3. Run TulsadiverModsInstallerStock.bat (Give ADB Shell Root Permissions. If missed on first opportunity, turn on in magisk manager, superuser)
4. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work. The only difference between the two bases is that you can change the color of the QS pulldown circle colors on the "color" base. Plus the "off" circle color isn't grey but instead the same as the "on" color only darker/dimmer.
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Complete Installation" at the bottom. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.
Root required
ZIP Instructions.
1. Unzip Zip Installer onto your internal sdcard
2. Flash thru Magisk app. Flash the SystemUI Base First. It provides the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work
(Do not reboot between selections as Magisk shows after flashing selections. Hit the back button to make your next selection)
3. Go through the other options selecting the mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
4. Once finished with selections, flash "Complete Installation" at the top. This will install your selections as a Magisk module.

Downloading now, work hates AFH sadly so going through data on cell phone. Will post back after and add a screenshot with my setup. Can't wait to get rid of the battery icon and carrier text!
@Tulsadiver
Removed previous mods and flashed newly created on.. Sitting at "Pixel is starting..." for a couple minutes now.

Funny enough, the phone is partially working, it just rang for a call but showed nothing except that message still lol. I installed the list below. I didn't see anywhere to select center clock in the build menus, is that the "small statusbar clocks" in Option 2?
Standard Base
Remove Battery Icon, Leave Percent
Remove Carrier Center Clock
QS 6 Column
Statusbar Data Icons Cell Tower 3
QS Data Icon Bar type 3
QS-Statusbar WiFi Icons 3
Waterfall Display
Gave it a few more minutes but ultimately removed modules with adb wait-for-device shell magisk --remove-modules. I'll give it another go if you think I missed something in the creator.

Yes, if you install the waterfall cutout i would select a clock from the option 2, "small statusbar clocks". Otherwise your clock and/or notifications will be off.
Try baby steps. Install just a base and see if that works.
Did you use the .bat file or powershell?

I see, there's a menu below option 2 in there. Might be handy to rename that to indicate there's another list instead of saying Install on it. I thought that was going to install a small clock instead lol.
Building now and will report back.
EDIT: Added the clock this time, left everything the same and had the same result. Wanted to see if the lack of center clock was throwing something off. I'll compile 1 part at a time and see which one is breaking it.
EDIT2: Rebuilt without battery icon removal and custom icons. Was able to boot but center clock didn't set, hoping I missed it. Carrier removal worked though. Recreating now WITH icon removal to see if it changes properly.
EDIT3: Rebuilt zip with remove battery icon and it wouldn't get beyond Pixel is starting again. I'm going to do another with just the base and remove battery icon to see if that is the cause.

It's remove battery icon. I just found it was bad.
Go to the bats/Batteriesinstallerstock.bat. change the code if %selection%==1, call bats\batt\removebatticon.bat to removebatticonstock.bat
Then try again

Was just typing a message about that. I figured I should check to see if those bats actually existed since the build happened in 2 second when I went to add it lol.
Downloaded, added and building again now.

EDIT: Update on options used
Remove icon - only got rid of half of the icon on the status bar, it's fully there in the notification shade
Center clock - not working
Custom data/wifi icons - working
Small statusbar with waterfall - working
Carrier removal - working

Center clock did nothing or not centered, or something else?
Are you saying there is half of a battery on the statusbar or just that it's not on the statusbar but it is on the qs pulldown?

Screenshots attached so you can see. Center clock didn't center at all.
EDIT: Doing it again without the custom icons to see if it removes the icon properly for the batter and centers the clock.
EDIT2: No change without custom icons.
Built with right clock, small statusbar, no battery icon, custom icons for data and wifi (option 3 for 20/21/22), remove carrier (noticed there isn't an option to remove carrier for left small clock)
Right clock not working either
I won't be in front of a computer for a couple hours but can do more testing then if you have any thoughts or ideas. I'll compile and test just clocks then to see if it's something there.

Nice find. Stuff like this is pretty picky. I've spent the last month building a series of batch files to assist with tech responsibilities at work and while it's fun it can be super nerve-racking when you misspell something like that.
I'll give it a whirl once the kids are in bed.

The rom will be continued by lo2ay in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1666167
This rom is ported from the Chinese "LeWa" OS for C8650 and it it based on cm7.2 rc1.
All credit goes to Le Frog Technology for the LeWa OS:
http://www.lewaos.com/
DETAILS:
-LeWa OS includes data monitoring, power savings, custom and downloadable themes and lockscreens, notifications on the lockscreen, lockscreen animations, pop-up SMS notification window showing the text with the reply box, etc.
-ADW launcher and LeWa launcher
-Bravia engine
-Beats audio
-AGPS patch
-gapps included
-DSP manager
-built-in theme manager
WORKING:
almost everything
BUGS:
-The online theme tab force closes when wifi/data is turned on
-Some lockscreens needs resizing, to change it go to Settings>Personal>LockScreen>Style option>Lockscreeen style
-in v5 at first boot after a clean install my phone asked me various times to insert the pin code and during setup wizard some apps were force closing. Don't worry! it's only first boot! If phone continues to ask the pin code just go to settings>mobile network and try disabling data or changing network mode, after some times it will stop requesting pin code.
-in dialer you can't add # after a number
-you tell me...
SCREENSHOTS:
coming soon
PLEASE READ:
Status Bar:
-The top of the notification pull down is the data monitor.
-The button on the top right corner will free memory.
-Tap on the status bar and it will bring up apps, home and back button at the top.
Launcher:
-Swipe up to open drawer
Lockscreen
-If you want to change lockscreen go to Settings>Personal>LockScreen>Style option>Lockscreeen style
Theme:
Place these on your sdcard (or lewa/theme/theme) and force close the Launcher for the list to refresh and you will have a lot of themes now!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1565670
Also make sure that you're wifi/mobile data is turned off, so it doesn't force close when it loads the online theme list.

Update1:It's booting.
Update2: Booted, getting screenshots will make another post about the features and proposed changes and screenshots as well
Awesome. I'll try this out in a bit!
Okay, here we go
When the phone boots for the first time this is what you will see
Pretty nice, except for the icons, which you can't change! (more on this later)
As the OP said, the appdrawer labels are cut-off a bit
A fix might be gotten if you make the icons a bit smaller or make the grid smaller.
Also as the OP said the default lockscreen is pretty cut-off, to unlock it swipe up on either the yellow bird (dialer) or red bird (messaging) then go to Settings->Personal->Lockscreen->Style options->Lockscreen style and change it to anything else.
The settings are very nice! They're grouped by function and you switch between the groups by swiping left or right
Takes some time to get used to, but I like it a lot.
The notification pane works, but the power toggles are way to big. (FIXED IN v2!)
The top shows you your data usage and by tapping the orb in the top right you kill background tasks.
By tapping the data usage in the notifications you get to the data usage usage graph and by swiping right you get the app firewall, and by swiping left you get to the data monitor settings.
And here we come to the theme part, by default it only ships with one theme (angry birds)
There is an online tab, but that one force closes when it loads (!), which means you can change the theme to anything else (unless it gets fixed or if the ROM ships with another theme)
The dialer is really nice, it does have T9 dialing, but it has this odd blue line going down the center of it.
The contacts are also very nice, adopting the same ICS like left and right swiping to swipe between the contacts, favorites, call log and messaging
Pressing the chinese letter at the bottom will bring up initial letters which can be quickly used to get to Z for example.
It ships with two file managers IO File Manager (CM7 default) and it's own one.
In default view it shows you how many music files, pictures, videos, documents and .apk files you have and allows you to show them. It also shows you how full your SD card is.
By swiping left you get to a standard file manager, which allows you to browse your SD card (no internal phone memory though).
If you happen to dislike the stock launcher it does ship with ADW as well.
It comes with inbuilt SMS and call blocking.
Now for some stuff that I dislike.
No CM7 settings. If we had that, disabling the power widget would be easy and it would be a good temporary solution. It does integrate SOME parts of CM7 settings, like the lockscreen settings and performace settings among others, but just not enough.
---------- Post added at 07:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:00 PM ----------
Fixed the Angry Birds only theme problem.
Makes the default launcher a lot more tolerable
Accidental double post.
(But I'll just keep the screenshot here )
Might as well use this post to say that I'm not able to set my time, timezone and date, because clicking on those options in the settings doesn't do anything!
looking good!
i shall try
downloading....
A new thing to try ....eagerly going to download and flash. Thnx nejc for your review ...

Okay, I'm trying to do some notification pane fixing, but I can't compile my modified SystemUI.apk with apktool(apkmultitool).
I attached a screenshot of the log.
Something I'm would try if it worked.
Under status_bar_tracking.xml in /res/layout there is a part that has the power widget, I'm thinking of we remove that it might serve as a temporary fix.
Another MIUI like rom. Will give it a try. I can volunteer to fix make it better if you like Thanks!
One thing I think that will help with the appdrawer.
in /res/values/integers.xml modify config_drawerRowsPortrait to 2, so that it has less app drawers rows. (That should work, can't test since I can't get apktool to compile)
Also (Again, not sure) to remove the buttons that pop up when you tap the status bar go to /systemui/res/values/bools.xml and change config_statusbar_buttons to false
It is great to see a new rom for once, hope this will get developed further.
I´m considering to make this my daily rom, once there comes other languages, like (My langauge) Danish
Just flashed it and loving it. Really smooth and fast. But as every rom it has some bugs in the settings when you click power save.
I have found a posible fix for the notification power widget.
It is a modified SystemUI.apk posted by parudthz in the Galaxy Mini forum (Same resolution)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23458805&postcount=37
I have tried pushing that one and I ended up without a status bar, did some copy pasting in the status_bar_tracking.xml which has the notification power widget and again ended up with no status bar.

I did reboot when pushing
Just tried adding it to /system/app in the ROM .zip file and it just bootloops.
Trying again with a full wipe.
Nope, still no status bar...
When I've been testing the statusbar tweaks I made I found I had all these problems pushing with adb etc...
The best way I found was to drop it in a zip and flash it, if the systemui isn't actually broken because of the changes you made it works everytime.

Try making an undo zip (I.e original systemui) it might need the same method as when flashing statusbar mods!!
1.Flash zip you modded (no status bar) boot up to test....if no statusbar.....
2.recovery flash undo zip, reboot to test..... all ok again.
3.recovery,re flash modded zip and see if it works this time.
Scratch knows more about this. Just an idea.

You can also use SystemUI Tuner from the Play Store. Works pretty well.
Both of these solutions can only disable WiFi, trying to disable other icons resets the whole thing. Same deal with opening the SystemUI Demo using activity launcher.

Based on the link what is the command for do not disturb icon ?
I have managed to turn off all the ones I wanted to turn off except the do no disturb icon.....
I tried do_not_disturb , but that did not seem to work.
Also is there a command to reset the status bar icons, incase I want to bring back some icons ?
I dont know how to reset it, but not disturb is "zen"
Brilliant Ty, only one I wish I had not removed is WiFi, do you know the command to put it back on?
Okay, great news, I had taken off various icons a couple of days ago, great , but I had taken one off one I wish I had kept, but also needed to remove another one.........anyway I used the ADB command and only entered the one icon in the list I wanted to remove and then ADB rebooted.....to my surprise all my icons came back on, all except the one I had added to my remove list, so basically the line of code written changed to only remove one icon as opposed to remove all previous icons and then one icon I had just added........SO if you are not happy with your choices, simply re do the process and add the icons you would like to be removed and reboot, the Icons removed will be just the ones on the list you just made and any you wish you had not removed will be returned.......
I have several status bar icons (not notifcation icons) that I want always visible, but after a couple, they just turn into one dot and I cant see them unless I swipe down the notification bar. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I'm rooted on LineageOS with Magisk 22.1, but had the same problem on stock. Thanks

I've never seen that. Can you give a screenshot of just before it changes and after?
The dot appears when you have enough notification icons, that can't be all shown at the same time, kinda like a "there's more" indicator.
Sadly the space for notifications is limited to just a few. No way to fix that afaik.

This will install an app called "Rom Control". Swipe from left to open menu, go to "Miscellaneous" and there is an option called "Show more notification icons". I haven't tried it but this may be what you're looking for.
You guys, he said statusbar icons, not notification icons. To me that means the system icons on the right side.

Yes exactly, I tried that recommendation and it not only didn't work, but after a while it stopped showing my lte signal and moved battery percent to left of battery instead of where I had it on the right, like it randomly switched to demo mode.
I'm fine with the notification icons merging, but not my system icons.

I've never seen that many system icons. I might be able to help but I don't know I could even manage to get too many. How many icons before it goes to a dot? 6, 7?
Can you give me a screenshot?

Do you really need all of those system icons? If not, there's an app that you can use to remove some of them with.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner
I use it to hide the headphones icon (I can see the wire coming out of my phone I'm looking at it right now and I can hear the music coming from it) and also the alarm clock icon that is there even on weekends when I don't have alarms set. I know I have 3 alarms set for weekdays. I've had them for years. I don't need you to remind me.

There's probably no way to do it.
Let the notifications fill until you get a dot there.

For Stock-Rooted Only.
The purpose of this installer is to generate a custom module that can be flashed in Magisk App. It will have all the mods that were selected from the installer menu. You need to be stock with root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so. This will only happen once.
I internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors. The colored statusbar icons should.
After Installing this module, your screen will relock after every reboot of your phone. You unlock it the first time, in about a second it will relock itself and you will have to unlock it again. If that is too much for you, don't use this mod. This also will not work with the bootloop protection module. It will disable this module.
This mod uses the SystemUI Patcher Module Template by @Jai_08 By @cool_modules on telegram
Root required
ADB Instructions.
1. Unzip ADB Mods Installer Files.zip on your PC
2. ADB debugging Enabled
3. Run TulsadiverModsInstaller.bat (Give ADB Shell Root Permissions. If missed on first opportunity, turn on in Magisk App superuser)
4. Flash the SystemUI Base First. It provides the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Finish building Module" at the bottom of the menu. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.
7. Flash the "mymagisk.zip" in Magisk App.
This mod also installs a QS and settings background overlay option under settings/Display/Device Theme. There are a few QS tile color options with an option to change the settings background to black.
This is firmware specific. If a Pixel firmware update changes either the SystemUIGoogle.apk or Framework-res.apk, this mod will need to be updated. Uninstall this module before updating your phone.
As with anything else you flash on your phone, you run the risk of a bootloop. This might not be compatible with some other modules. Flash at your own risk.

Stand alone mods would be cool
March update has been uploaded.
Thanks for posting this! I haven't used your module maker before, but I just spent an hour reading older threads for the Pixel 4XL and 5. I see the mod maker has the ability to change system fonts. That is really the only thing I am after at this point. You actually helped me with a Magisk module back on the Pixel 3a. Is there any chance you could create a stand alone module to change fonts? The attached file is the module you created for Android 10, along with all the custom fonts I wish to use. As I mentioned in another thread, I'm happy make a donation for your time.

I put those fonts into a module installer. It will still relock the screen each time after the phone is rebooted. I don't think this will work without a systemui modification. I put a token PNG file in it along with your font if you would like to try it.

Edit: Looking through your Module maker, I'm wondering if I need to designate a font as google_sans_clock.ttf in order to replace the clock font?

Okay. Added a font renamed GoogleSansClock-Regular.ttf to \mymagiskFont.zip\system\product\fonts
I assume I don't need to make any changes to the mymagisk.zip file within the mymagiskFont.zip? Sorry for my ignorance.

No, you should be good to go.
Your module applied, no problem. Only real issue is I'm getting overlap with the lockscreen clock. Tried moving some fonts around to try another in place of GoogleSansClock-Regular. Results with same issue. Also missing the dash in Settings for Wi-Fi, but this has intermittently been a problem with this font for years. Hmm. Might have to play around with it some more later when I have more time.

I did try two. I tried the fonts named Roboto-Light and Roboto-Thin. Both are light versions of Helvetica, one is slightly lighter than the other. Both overlapped on the lockscreen. But both did, however, display the colon when the clock switches to a digital version when the user receives a notification on the lockscreen. I remember a lot of these fonts were missing that glyph back in the day too. So that's a plus.
I have to work a couple long shifts the next few days, but I will definitely try some other fonts when I have free time and report back. I really appreciate you getting me started with this module! Many thanks to you!
@Tulsadiver - I'm wondering if you have seen the overlapping behavior on the lockscreen with your custom fonts? I'm also wondering if the stock GoogleSansClock-Regular is a variable font, allowing it to change weights when the user interacts with the phone while the phone is locked (e.g., the double stack clock font is thin and then becomes heavier when the user engages with the device and the background wallpaper image comes into view). I'm thinking maybe my overlapping issue could be related to overwriting a variable font with a static font?
One another note, I'm still seeing what appears to be Roboto font within non-Google applications (e.g., Nova Launcher menu, Solid Explorer menu). I don't see this behavior with the same applications on my Pixel 3 running Android 10. I'm wondering if there is another font I need to overwrite... the only one I can see within Android 13, not present in 10, is RobotoStatic-Regular. Do you think this could be the font used for these app menus, and what do you think about replacing it?

I don't show any overlapping on the fonts I've used and the GoogleSansClock font and AndroidClock are used in mine. I typically use Roboto-Thin to replace them.
There are applications that use their own fonts. I don't see any problem replacing RobertoStatic-Regular though I have not.

Okay, so adding a custom font named RobotoStatic-Regular fixed my issue within certain applications (see attached image).
I also just took a look at the stock GoogleSansClock-Regular font, and it is in fact a variable or dynamic font. This could be related to my render/overlap issue. I might keep trying different fonts to see if it works properly with any of my custom fonts. Another thought I had was buying a variable font online and plugging that one in for the lockscreen clock. Thanks for your continued feedback!
