Or you can manually flash superSU with custom recpvery to root your phone.

Hi guys so i rooted my nexus 7 (2013) with towelroot and after couple of days i uroot it with supersu app.So my qustion is would i be able to get android updates. And is towelroot unlocking bootloader? If it is does that means that i will not be able to get updates?Pls explain because i dont know so much about rooting
If I remember correctly, you can't get Google's updates for the factory install if you're rooted or if the bootloader is unlocked. towelroot doesn't unlock the bootloader. You have to reboot into the bootloader and use fastboot. wugfresh's kit will do it too of you're lazy lol...

There is no perma root for your variant and version, its temp root by kingroot.. Try kingroot with the combination of sunshine, and check if you can unlock your bootloader..

Reliable use this tool ? http s://w ww. search4roots . com/how-to-root-sony-xperia-z4/
I am looking to root, but I'm afraid
I don't speak much english. Sorry!!! (laughs)
This gets asked often.
Fact is, you cannot root the Z3+/Z4 wirh a tool or utility. The only way to do so is to unlock your bootloader, then flash a rooted rom.
I tried using KingRoot, but with no luck. It didn't break anything, though. What I had to do was unlocking the bootloader, then booting up a temporary TWRP-recovery and installing a SuperSU-installer with root binaries through that, as well as a kernel that allowed root privileges. It worked like a charm in Android 6.0 without any signs of misbehaviours
Can this device be rooted without unlocking the bootloader? I don't want to unlock the bootloader since I want to keep my warranty.
It is useless because regardless of device and brand, any procedure of rooting or going to even partially modify the official system components will void the warranty ... temporarily! You can unlock your boot loader. The question is ifi you can unroot and reblock the bootloader ................ if you can do same it's ok!
You can unroot and relock your bootloader without any trouble.
Off course, personally I only use SU from @Chainfire to root, I can't report about other's methods.
I have unroot and downgrade for reinstall the single variant sim firmware(my 2 p8 is single sim but I use one with 2 sims) , and relock my bootloader for sending it to Huawei for warranty coz of a hardware issue , no trouble.

Yeah you can root with kingroot . but its not good once you root with kingroot you will not able to UNROOT IT. Do it in your own risk . better do by unlocking bootloader and flash thru adb. and supersu (chainfire) is safe and efficient.

has anyone tried King root with this device... rooting without unlocking bootloader... just need root to debloat specifically unneeded apps?
I've tried and it doesn't work. If you want to root it and debloat it you must unlock the bootloader first. There's no other solution. You have to unlock it using DC Unlocker software.
