Just downloaded and installed a new system update. Had to go to Settings>System Updates and manually update, as it didn't automatically update.....yet. Here are changes taken from Verizon update website:
Software Version: MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPH1
This software update provides Wi-Fi calling and HD Voice improvements to your Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone.
Fewer dropped Wi-Fi voice calls
Video calls using a cellular network will start with a pop-up reminder that you'll be using data
Ensures you can only make HD Voice Calls when connected to the 4G LTE network
Improvements to HD Voice Call volume
You can now register for Voice over Wi-Fi calling when roaming
Just did the update and my phone is dropping calls after about a minute and a half when using WiFi calling. Hopefully this is a known issue as it is worse now than before the update. Is anyone else having problems?
Please send me update related to my s6 edge 7.0 or 7.0.1 nougat... I want competable

Nexus 6 - When wifi is enabled on phone under wifi network, can't make / receive calls. Callers are unable to connect to my number. Further, don't get any missed call notification for such missed calls
If wifi is disabled on phone, everything works fine.
I am using aIrtel SIM in New Delhi/ India
Hi, I wish to understand if WiFi Calling is supported by Jio on Note 5 Nougat. I do get VoLTE and its working flawlessly but there are certain areas where network is very bad but I have good WiFi connectivity.
If I enable WiFi Calling incoming calls are there but can't make out going calls. I can't really confirm if there is change in audio quality for incoming calls using WiFi calling because I'm not even sure if its working since it shows no new icon.
My wife has noticed change on her iPhone 6 Plus with WiFi calling but I cannot make sure if there is any difference.
With my wife WiFi calling on she is able to make incoming and outgoing calls both. She too doesn't get any new notification or icon confirming voice call is being routed via WiFi Calling.

Google Voice + Call Waiting

Device Information
Device / Nexus 6 32GB US XT1103
Region / United States
Network / Sprint
Build / lineage_shamu-userdebut 9 PQ2A.190205.001 10eabd58f8
Baseband / MDM9625_104670.31.05.51R
Version / 16.0.20190307-nightly-shamu
Recovery / twrp 3.2.3-0
Application / Voice 2019.09.234885482
Application Author / Google
Symptom Description
Phone shows an incoming secondary call while actively engaged in a phone call
User can acknowledge the incoming call in attempt to switch phone calls
Phone will drop both calls after switching
Phone then loses data connectivity
You must power the phone on/off to regain connectivity or use the service menu to toggle the radio services on/off
Reproduction
Install Google Voice [rebranded as Voice by Google]
Proceed through the setup process
Make sure the option to use Google Voice for all outgoing calls is selected in the app settings
Place an outgoing call from your handset that connects and remains active
Place a second call to your handset so you receive a call waiting interrupt
Answer the call waiting interrupt
Watch both phone calls drop and the handset lose data connectivity
Considerations
Google Voice is available only in the United States
These symptoms can actually be reproduced on just about every other custom Oreo and Pie rom
This issue has likely gone unaddressed because most of the rom testing community remains international
Testers within the United States probably do not all make use of Google Voice
You will be unable to use Google Voice outside of this region because the service does not allow foreign forwarding numbers
Call waiting does work when calls are made and received without Google Voice
And no this is not a Google Voice application isolated issue because Google Voice works perfectly fine on stock roms for the Nexus 6
Google Voice also works fine on Pure Nexus which is based on Nougat 7.1
The installation of this rom was performed clean after a full wipe of all mount and storage points via twrp
I specifically bought a Moto G6 about a year ago in order to use wifi calling on T-Mobile's network. I have terrible cellular network reception in my home, and I constantly drop/miss calls if I'm not using wifi.
I've read several concerning posts about Pie changing its wifi calling behavior to aggressively switch back to the cellular network whenever possible. Examples (sorry, can't post links, but you can search for these):
T-Mobile Support: Is anyone having WiFi calling issues since Pie update
Reddit: wi-fi calling preferences have been updated to optimize network experience
Lots of people complain about constant notifications about the phone switching to and from the cellular network, but there seems to be ways to squelch the notification.
I'm more concerned about the possibility that it's no longer possible to configure the phone to "wifi preferred" mode after the Pie update. If my phone is constantly trying to switch back to the cellular network in my home, I'm going to go back to having frequent missed and dropped calls—which is a deal killer for me.
I'm hoping the community here can confirm or assuage my concerns about updating to Pie.
To All Sprint Note 8 Users,
Received this message from Sprint the other day.

Regarding Calling PLUS Service Decommission
Our records indicate your account is using Calling PLUS, a service that provides simultaneous voice and data (LTE Calling Beta) and the ability to place voice calls over Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi Calling). Your device will soon receive a software update that will remove Calling PLUS and replace it with a similar feature called VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
Here are your options for the system update:
Accept the System Update – this will permanently remove Calling PLUS from your device. The replacement service of Voice over LTE (VoLTE) will be installed. VoLTE provides the same simultaneous voice & data capability as Calling PLUS. The Wi-Fi Calling service will continue to allow your device to make and receive calls over an available Wi-Fi connection. If accepted, you will NOT be able to go back to the previous version of device software. Postpone the System Update – Calling PLUS service will remain active. Calling PLUS users may want to choose this option. However, you will NOT be able to postpone the update indefinitely. Your phone manufacturer may require an update for your phone in the near future.
For more information on Calling PLUS, please visit: www.sprint.com/cpfaq
Thank you for being a Sprint customer.
When I got my Note 8, I used Package Disabler Pro to stop all Sprint updates.
My current firmware version is:
2017-11-15
7.1.1
N950USQU2BQJB
N950UOYN2BQJB
I disabled:
Software Update - com.wssyncmldm
Sprint OMADM - com.sec.omadmspr
Software update - com.sec.android.soagent
Sprint Chameleon - com.samsung.sprint.chameleon
I have been using:
[MOD]Hotspot bypass. No root/No MSL required.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/themes/mod-hotspot-bypass-root-msl-required-t3671061
with no issues since I got the Note 8 on 4/6/19.
It looks like they intend to forcefully push this update if not successfully through Sprint, then through Samsung.
Is this going to kill my hotspot mod? If so, is there a way to prevent it?
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thank you.
A recent update did just kill my hotspot. I had to pay my remaining balance to get it unlocked, then create a custom apn to get it back. The guide is here on xda.
So what android version are you on Buck420? I'm also wondering how to update it and also unlock my hotspot mod back into the phone. My phone is paid off BTW and have the old Android version installed.
Any updates on this?
