Going for the budget option, then maybe xiaomi 4i? You can also get secondhand nexus phones for very cheap. The oneplus one and oneplus x r also very good phones.

Hi guys (and girls if any )
I am asking myself what frequencies the droid 4 (running v217) can handle in 4g (lte).
Operators are gonna activate 4g soon in france and i heard the frequencies where 800 and 2100 mhz (i think it's 800 for mine). Do you think it will work? (Or will i be like those Ithing 5 users : "wtf wtf wtf i dont have 4g lolololololololololo")
Unfortunately, if I recall correctly, it's only the 700 MHz band.
So no existing or planned LTE networks in Europe (well, at least not in my country) are going to be supported by it. This can not be fixed by a software update, it really needs different hardware, I believe I've read in a thread here somewhere.
Guys help me out here. Im trying to find out which LTE bands the HTC one has.
Im Interested in 900 MHz, 2600 Mhz and 800 Mhz but mostly the first two since the 800 Mhz is not finished and not online yet.
I cant seem to find any info about this. Does any one have a clue? Also link your source please since i want to be sure before i buy the phone that it works with my telecom company's LTE network
I asked in another thread but didn't get an answer at all
Thanks

Maybe because nobody has an answer.

you just have to go to the specific websites....each one is going to be selling a different version that works with different bands....
That is because HTC loves making too many variations of the same phone, one for each network provider/market, therefore make it confusing for everyone, perfect example HTC Butterfly variants. Would make much more cost effective sense to make all in one, then a CDMA model like most other manufacturers. I am so certain that this is the case for LTE that you do not have the bands listed yet.
well testoad

This is new information, just added obviously.
And yes exactly what I stated, too many unnecessary variations. From what I read here, realistically they only needed two variants to cover all this EU/Asia and US, then leave it up to the network providers to lock the phones to their network as everyone else does.
that good it got 2600 mhz, my country support it !!!
yet it is coming at end of April for my country with LTE ready
Finally! The official list of LTE bands! EU version I will buy you!!!!! Haha I need that 800 baseband....
But wait... I can see that it's being broken by continents. Does that mean that a different model is being sold on each of those continents? Or are they trying to say that HTC One(only 1 model) can support the available frequencies of those listed?
I think you'll be able to buy an unlocked LTE version, but have to choose between the Asian or EU LTE radio bands. As for the US and Canada, I'm sure we'll be stuck going with a carrier branded version if we want LTE or have to settle for just 3G speeds on an unlocked version.
Hello is there a difference? Reason I'm asking is that on paper spec sheet N920i support 800mhz and 1800mhz.
But diving deper it shows that 800mhz is is not on Band 20. And people do mention that it does not support it.
Hope some one can clerify this to me because I'm confused

According to Wikipedia for my carrier in Canada (ROGERS), for LTE - it lists the following:
Frequency Range: 700 MHz Lower A/B/C
Band Number: 12/17/13
Protocol: LTE
Class: 4G
Frequency Range: 1700/2100 MHz AWS
Band Number: 4
Protocol: LTE
Class:4G
Frequency Range: 2600 MHz IMT-E
Band Number: 7
Protocol: LTE
Class: 4G
So, from trying to understand the chart from what the seller provided and what is supported by ROGERS, LTE should work without any issues correct?
Please advise.
Thanks.
Looks like the phone does not support band 13
Yeah it looks like you will have 4 7 12 and 17 so it will work as long as you don't go to an area with only band 13 available
i still don't know where i can buy a n950N from the US

I went the ebay route. I think I used the same seller Kalm_Traveler also used (falling_in_seoul) (~200 feedback).
After I got my package thursday the listing was taken down by ebay. Seller doesn't know why, and I can't leave them feedback. If anyone's curious from this seller the Shipping was less than 36 hours via FedEx (Korea > Alaska > Tennessee > Missouri > mah hands!) while it was estimated to be a week or so. Sealed box, even included a power plug adaptor (didn't need but was a nice thought if I didn't have one already).
If I didn't get the korean deepsea blue with 256gb internal storage I would have purchased from Never-MSRP and been very sad at having no OEM Unlock option (not seller's fault).
Thanks everyone for the response.
I'll keep an eye out and update on the performance once the device is delivered.
I've owned every Note ever made except for the Note1... my dream is always been to have a 6 gigs of RAM 256 GB of storage with an external SD Samsung Galaxy Note. The phone just came out but it's a Korean version and it's in the deep sea blue which I wanted anyways cuz I always get a black phone. So I ordered one on eBay myself. They were going for about $1,380. But I got a seller down to $1,000. My order was placed yesterday and now it should be here in the next two weeks and I will give updates as to how the service and everything else works. I also wanted an international version due to the fact that it has an EXYNOS processor which is easier to root as well. So hopefully if my phone works on T-Mobile in the United States and I achieve root I will have my dream phone. After the Note 7 Fiasco last year I've had a rough ride with Samsung as they made me argue with them for almost a hundred fifty hours just to get my International Note 7 through the claims department. Then after they took my phone back in March I still have yet to receive my check for $980. For the last 3 weeks I've been arguing with them on that matter and now they're claiming the checks in the mail. But we'll see. Then they gave me two promo codes to buy Note 7 from Samsung website because I actually purchased two notes Evans last year one international and one from T-Mobile. And guess what? Neither one of the promos worked! Then after 15 hours of calling for the last 2 weeks I've been told to do numerous things to get new promos from going to T-Mobile and having them print out my receipt taking a picture converting it to a PDF format uploading it to my desktop and then sending it to them through a link and doing the same thing with my eBay receipt. To creating a new email so that they can send me new links to the new email which I did and I've still never received any links. At this point in my life I hate Samsung as a company from the customer service aspect I really hate him with a passion because of the way they treat people. But, the only phone in the world that I like happens to be the Note line.. so it's kind of a love-hate relationship at this point. I used to talk on my Apple friends out of their phones and trying to get Samsung which I will not do anymore and I will not defend the company anymore nor try to persuade people to try a Samsung device. Just because of the way they treat people. But I will still continue to buy my note phones every year and hopefully get to enjoy them without incident. That aside I didn't mean to ramble on. But as soon as my phone gets here I'll let you guys know how it works with Tmobile service

I also bought this model, but It is looking not work on Freedom mobile 3G network. I'm so confused on that. LTE works great so far. I can't make a call and receive a call. Only can use data and message.
Hi all, I purchased nokia 6 (ta-1000) 2 months ago and was satisfied. Problem was i work in dessert area and my phone unable to use 4G band. After many research i found that this nokia 6 doesn't support other 4G bands except china country coz its chinese variant. so my question is does Nokia 8 have many variants too? If yes then can you all guide me? i as am planning to buy nokia 8 and dont want to end up having same 4G band problem like nokia 6.
I have the TA-1004 version. It works in Southeastern Europe with the 1800MHz LTE frequency my phone provider has, also tried it and it works on the 2600 4G frequency from another local provider.
These 2 are confirmed, but there's also the specifications info that the local seller has on the website, which includes all these band frequencies for 4g: 700 / 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2300 / 2600
So I'm guessing TA-1004 should work with all of the above.

Go to your phone carrier's website and check what band frequencies it has for LTE/4G. Or a google search. That's what I did.
