Everytime I install custom kernel for a custom rom, there's a problem. I tried to install cm 10.1.6-halo from clockworkmod apk then install a kernel, everything works fine but then when i tried to install apps from the app store or any apk i try to install it will reboot, this only happens after i installed the kernel plsss help....

I have a rooted optimus 2x and when i try to install cm7 in clockwork recovery i get an error.
The only cm7 i was able to install was WGSpolestra rom( i like that one but i want to try the nightlies)
I install all my roms the same i download them and copy them to my external sd card and then install them trough recovery but the cm7 just wont install.I also do a complete wipe before installing.
If anyone knows why it wont install plz help.
If you need the error code i will try to install it againg and tell you that.
I made it work somehow i think i had the wrong version of CWM.
Hey guys. I'm new here and I have a problem installing MiniCM7-2.1.5. I did everything as said, but my x8 ended up in a BootLoop. I booted my phone and installed nAa kernel. I'm currently running Srom-2.2.1 Froyo v3. So what seems to be the problem? Thanks.

same problem with me, i have w8(clone of x8 as we all know), i was using MiniCM7-2.0.7, i got a notification saying MiniCM7 updates is avaiable, so i downloaded,
tried to install by CWM Recovery,
i did factor reset/full wipe-Had a backup-Choosed Install custom zip from sd-selected MiniCM7-2.1.5-x8.zip, installation started , then it prompted that i have to upgrade my kernel to nAa o6, so i downloaded the kernel.ftf, flashed it using flashed tool, i succeded flashing,
and again tried to Install the updates but had the same problem.

I have problem with recovery mode, I cant install any zip file, its always freeze and sometimes reboot and bootloop.
My step:
Install from GB PREROOT SGN_XX_OXA_KJ1_FACTORYFS.tar using ODIN (using GB ROM to avoid brick bug)
Then instal JB TW base XXLSA/LSC (like AllianceROM, RocketROM, Ultimate ROM) still no problem
BUT after installed JB TW base, i cant change my ROM to another JB TW base because always freeze in installing zip file, i dont know why.

Hi, have a rooted P990, did manage to install MIUI but wants Cyanogenmod. The only Cyanogenmod i can install is with the Progmaq-default-cm10 But i cant get into recovery after that install. If i use AIO and do a repartition and delete all then i can install CWM or TWR recovery, but i cant install ROM from any of them. TWR say that there isnt any OS on phone, CWM only goea back into recovery when reboot. Should i install the boot.img file on the phone, if yes, how do i do it?
What does CWM say after you installed a ROM, is there any error message?
Are you using old or new bootloader? Did you make sure to use a ROM that is suitable for your bootloader? You can use AIO to change the bootloader type.
i have installed cyano 11, based on android 4.4.2n my galaxy ace gt s5830, i did all wipe, i installed cyano via recovery, but, i'mnot able to install play store, or any google gapps file zip. i tried to reinstall cyano, to did wipe, but nothiong, so , i downloaded the original firmware of my phone from sammobile, but, i was'nt able to flash it via recovery"installation aborted". what should i do ? please help me

I also use Odin, but i wasn't able... Neither to reflesh original rom, Neither cyanogenmod 11., Neither to flash play Store to cyanogenmod, Neither Install gapps zip, or apk of play Store. Finally, afther 3 hours succeded in installing cyanogenmod 10.2, And It seems to work (it have play store)
