Can anyone who updated try to find the proper links to download the ota manually?
If anyone can follow these steps after they updated, it could help those of us outside the US greatly!
---clearer directions from (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=68425868&postcount=5)
The first boot after you take the OTA, dial *#8736364#. This brings up the firmware update menu. Click on 'Result'. There, you will see a screen that looks like the one attached.
Here is how things worked for G900A:
I went to the server URL in the attached image using stock Samsung browser. This downloaded a file named desc and then I got a prompt to download the OTA. I clicked OK and the download started and failed.
However, the failed download did create a file named desc.bin on my phone. I clicked on that file and to my surprise, I got a pop up menu that had a download option. I selected download and then finally the full 911mb file named desc.bin downloaded on my phone.
I renamed it, changed the extension to zip and uploaded it!

The AT&T site says the baseband must be PB1, PB3, or PB6. My device shows PB5. I'm on 5.1.1 (LMY47X) with the July 1 security updates. How do I get a different baseband? I assume I would flash with Odin, but do these exist outside of a full update package?
I'd love to get a flashable zip rather than relying on OTA. Don't mind doing a data wipe to get it.

First you must change the variant of your P-12 to P-10 with EMUI 2.3. There are some people who have already done this change, I also had P-12 installed in my cell phone, "Latinoamerican version" and I took the risk of changing ROM, it is very simple, you can find many roms to download, I started with B126, then B-133, B135, B136, B138 and B602 which works with 3.0 EMUI. HTCMANIA provides a good list of roms but I recommend you to read first XDA and HTCMANIA forums just before Performing any change to your cell phone. http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=876021
http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=928344
AFTER changing your variant rom from L-12 TO L-10 I recommend you to read this thread that explains to update from 2.3 to 3.0. Remember this update is in beta phase since final version has not released yet. http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p7/general/ascend-p7-b602-emui-3-0-international-t2971697

It is not possible to talk in spanish despite that I am LatinoAmerican, but the thing is this forum is only in English and one of the mandatory rules to post here in XDADEVELOPERS is to write in English, otherwise the information you put here will be deleted and you might be banned. No pierdes nada, antes mejor pues el L-12 esta muy desactualizado y al pasarte a la version L-10 antes se actualiza y va más rapido y estable, te recomiendo buscar la ROM con la versión general sin operadora. If you need ROMS for our device, go here and it is in spanish: http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=876021
Be careful, never install ROMS with L-00 variant since these roms are for Chinese versions with double sim card.. Good luck and remember read first before performing any change and do it at your own risk...

You do not need to uncompress the FOLDER UPDATE.ZIP, just put it in the /dload folder and UPDATE with ACTUALIZACIONES Y ACTUALIZACION LOCAL del propio menu del celular, no lo hagas por los 3 botones porque cuando lo instales te saldrán errores. The zip file must be 600mb.

Hello
i see this thread and i think i have the same problem but my p7 is australian version p7-l11
i don't get any updates and i'm still on EMUI 2.3 so i decided to change to global version p7-l10
could you help me please and tell me what i want to do this ?
Thanks
Try it
I'm im l12 variant an change it to l10 with b133 you can try the same. download the update, extract the update.app and put in sd root \dload, then just apply the local update from update menú.
Just to share a few tips for some L12 owners that purchased B119 devices (in my case also arrived unlocked). After try almost all ROMs unsuccessfully (FAIL message while verifying package) I tried a VENDOR CUST (from B133 package) and after a really long formatting phase it end the process (with a FAIL message but at the end). Reboot. After that the only ROM that worked was a B119 of L10 (I used SPAIN one) and it end the process (again with a FAIL message at the end). Reboot. After that I chose B133 (general) and it worked (again with a FAIL message at the end). Now I'm just waiting for B621 download to install. Thanks so much to all the guidance here and official ROMS located below. http://www.htcmania.com/showthread.php?t=876021

You have the Telcel version of the i537, there is no firmware update for your phone. The files @thisisapoorusernamechoice linked to only work with the AT&T version of the i537. Sorry, but there's nothing you can do until Telcel updates your firmware.

I just checked the ROM I downloaded. It appears it only downloaded 0.97GB of the file, and the full size should be around 1.07GB.
Where do I find the boot loader? I was already on PA2 so I assume I didn't have to do anything else other than load up the Marshmallow ROM.
This is was a while back but I believe I went from OI5 to PA2 through stock recovery.

yeah you only need to flash the boot loader if you're upgrading or downgrading to PA2, otherwise its just the .bin file.
this is how I did mine since i was on PA4,
flashed PA2 including bootloader,
immediately went into recovery and flashed PE3 from SD card.
what size is the file supposed to be? mine is 0.97GB but is someone getting 1.07GB?

Finally got it to work. Yes, the actual file is 0.97GB.
I had to download the firmware on my phone, transfer it onto my memory card, transfer it onto my computer, change the ".bin" ending to ".zip", transfer it back onto the card, and select it in stock recovery.

[How-To] Download official AT&T Firmware on your PC with every browser or Bluestacks

[How-To] Download official AT&T Firmware on your PC with every browser or Bluestacks
There is a new, easier (Somewhat) method of downloading the firmwares directly to your browser, it should only have to be done once and will work all the time.
Chrome:
1) Click the menu button at the top-right corner of the Chrome browser window, point to “More tools” and select “Developer tools” in the menu. (or just Ctrl + Shift + I)
2) Click on the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner (next to the x) that show ‘Customize and Control Devtools’ and select Settings (Or just press F1)
3) In the left columm, go to the “Devices” tab
4) Click on ‘Add Custom Device’
5) In ‘Device name’ name it anyway you want
6) Skip to the ‘User agent string’ textbox (I personally didn’t changed the values above this textbox and it worked just fine)
7) Copy this text: Mozilla/5.0+(Linux;+Android+4.4.2;+SAMSUNG-SM-N900A+Build/KOT49H)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Version/4.0+Chrome/30.0.0.0+Safari/537.36
8) Next to the box, make sure ‘Mobile’ is selected.
9) Click ‘Add’ and you will be able to download the links normally.
Internet Explorer 11:
1) Search Google Chrome on google, download it and proceed to the above method
-OR-
In IE11, when you are on the "Error 403 Forbidden - You don't have permission to access the file on this server." page hit F12 > Emulation tab > User agent string dropdown: Select Custom, then paste the following string in: Mozilla/5.0+(Linux;+Android+4.4.2;+SAMSUNG-SM-N900A+Build/KOT49H)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Version/4.0+Chrome/30.0.0.0+Safari/537.36 , then hit Refresh...the download will begin
Firefox:
1) Access the about:config page by typing ‘about:config’ in the address bar and press Enter
2) You will see a warning, click on the ‘I’ll be careful’ button to proceed
3) Type useragent into the filter box, look for the ‘general.useragent.override’ string, then:
a) If it exists, which normally shouldn’t, right click it and select modify and copy the following text: Mozilla/5.0+(Linux;+Android+4.4.2;+SAMSUNG-SM-N900A+Build/KOT49H)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Version/4.0+Chrome/30.0.0.0+Safari/537.36
b) If it doesn’t exist, then create a new one by right clicking, then on the contextual menu point to ‘New’, and select ‘String’, name it ‘general.useragent.override’, click accept, then another text box will pop up with the name of ‘String value’ and copy the following text: Mozilla/5.0+(Linux;+Android+4.4.2;+SAMSUNG-SM-N900A+Build/KOT49H)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Version/4.0+Chrome/30.0.0.0+Safari/537.36
4) Done
Note (Firefox): The following process will change your default user agent, affecting the way all webpages are shown, so they will look like you were browsing them from a table or cellphone, after all the downloads you need to make I recommend you chaging back to the original user agent, by heading into about:config, right clicking on the string you just created or modified (general.useragent.override) and then clicking on ‘Reset’.
Because all of the downsides of modifying your user agent as shown above, I recommend you to download an user agent switcher extension and configure it, so that changing and reverting the user agents becomes more user-friendly.
Thanks to: Rakuu for suggesting these method and TechFA for figuring it out.
Old, longer, heavy resources method:
We will need Bluestacks but we won't have to log in or anything (unless you want to).
Steps:
1) Search Bluestacks in google.
2) Head to their webpage (bluestacks com) and download the latest version (>200 MB).
3) Install it.
4) Once it starts up, open the stock browser and copy any of the links you want from the PE3 or PF3 MM update thread (I can't post links).
5) The download will start.
6) Once it's finished, open the browser and search 'ES File Explorer apk' on google, and then download it (I downloaded it from uptodown).
7) Wait until the apk download finishes and install normally.
8) Once it's installed open it.
9) Head to the ''Downloads'' directory.
10) Hold left click on the file you downloaded until it appears as selected.
11) In the lower right corner of the app, there are some options (cut, copy, paste, etc) click on more and select ''Share''
12) In the ''Share'' tab select ''Copy to Windows'' (should be the first option with the windows 8 logo), and wait until a prompt where you select where do you want your files to go, and click accept.
13) Done :good: (don't forget to change the file extension from .bin to .zip).
There is another method which implies you logging in, creating a Bluestacks account, etc that will allow you to download es file explorer from the playstore but it didn't work for me because of some authorization issues and it also takes a lot of time.
thanks for good information.

You are correct, it's based off the user agent. Bluestacks uses this one: Mozilla/5.0+(Linux;+Android+4.4.2;+SAMSUNG-SM-N900A+Build/KOT49H)+AppleWebKit/537.36+(KHTML,+like+Gecko)+Version/4.0+Chrome/30.0.0.0+Safari/537.36
To change the user agent for different browsers, google "change browser user agent". The first link from howtogeek.com should get you started.
I tested with IE11, when you are on the "Error 403 Forbidden - You don't have permission to access the file on this server." page hit F12 > Emulation tab > User agent string dropdown: Select Custom, then paste the above string in, then hit Refresh...the download will begin

Yeah, apparently all the MM links are down, can't even make them work with Bluestacks or the phone, luckily I downloaded them when it was still working, I may be able to post a link soon

You would be a complete savior if you still have them!
My G900A is stuck in limbo until I can get a hold of those.
All I need is PE3 to PF3 :crying:

I haven't been able to get any of these to work on chrome, opera, or firefox. I am stuck on PA1 because I use cricket... and I need the PA1-to-PE3 build and the Marshmallow build. If anyone has any links to them that would be awesome! Thanks

You can find the entire PA2 Odin firmware on the Marshmallow update thread. I posted files for pa2-ph2 here: (I downloaded these after I took the ph2 OTA, so I cannot test these. USE at your own risk)

So I can just use Odin to flash this to my phone without anything else? When I updated to the PA1 I did it over my phone itself and the file was called oc(something)-to-PA1. I'm just asking cause I would rather not kill my phone haha
s5 Active AT&T
Can you please get it to work on S5 active AT&T, coz I'm stuck in OJ3 and outside of US. Thank you
