MIUI Themes Second Contest!
This contest is hosted by MIUITHEMES and supported by MIUI OFFICIAL
The Work - Requirements
The topic is free. You can make a Theme inspired by what you want. The more creative work, have better and more chances to win against the other participants.
The Content - What is the job
The contents of the competition is a MIUI Theme Design, include a lockscreen interface, a piece of desktop wallpaper and 20 specified icons (icons including: call, SMS, contacts, browser, calendar, Gmail, file explorer, application market, backup, settings, music, gallery, camera, weather, calculator, maps (4 apps, latitude, etc...), notes, time, recorder and theme manger).
Other optionals interfaces (such as SMS, dial-up, contacts, notification bar and so on). If u design this have more oportunity to do a better work for win!
How to participate?
To participate you need send the .mtz at our email [email protected] and add the following things.
Personal data
Name
Phone num.
Address/City/Country
Contact email adress
And you need to publish their work on our website in that link “Submit!”.
Remember! Each registered user can participate with the number you want to mtz (themes).
The Winners
The winner need send us the original PSD to check is the original creator of the Theme. The mtz be posted within 24 hours of receipt by mail, and will be published on the website of miuithemes.com.
If you have created an mtz (theme) with several designers, we need the personal data of every individual who worked in that work and their sign and accept that work. Once submitted the works, contestants will be deemed to have agreed MIUI users to download and use the theme.
If awarded, all participants (including winners) need to authorize the copyright to MIUI Official.
PSD Template
You can download the. PSD template to send us the mtz screenshots for publishing on the web (Get the PSD TEMPLATE in miuithemes site please)[/URL]. Each registered user can participate with the number you want to mtz (themes).

The Vote!
Users can vote to +1 Google to rate the participant. Of all the scores received and after the judges choose, will decide the winners. The winners will be selected accounting for 40% of the votes of users and 60% of the votes of the Judges.

Wow.
This years contest should be very interesting. Considering alot of people have picked up MIUI as there ROM of choice. Not to mention alot of us have been modding and creating our own junks. Giving the Chinese a run for there money this year.

Hi,
I created this thread to discuss and for people who buy live outiside then the google play support country such as me from M'sia.
We couldn't buy it directly from the Google Play store unless there's a valid us/any country address that supported.
This can ease other user that want/tempting to get one but having no idea on proper method and precaution on doing it.
Nexus 4 are now only available at Google Play : USA,UK,Spain,Germany,France,Japan,Australia & Canada
Anyone whom have experience bringing via post method to unsupported country via any method can post
but always do follow forum rules.

I tried to buy it in the uk, with 3 different proxies from Denmark (1 paid, Daves proxy and UK hidemyass.com proxy) none of them worked.
I used english creditcard as well as an english address. It failed on transaction.
So you're telling me it is possible to buy it from other countries?

This is wrong
Setup my billing address in California around 1 month ago.
After notice that there is an additional tax, i changed the shipping address to Oregon, but forgot to update the billing address also to Oregon.
Ordered from Asia with a VPN to Los Angeles.
Credit Card also from Asia.

hello, I order mine two days ago (29 Jan.) from the Dominican Republic using my Galaxy S3 (because I was at work), I used a TunnelBear free service to access the Play Store (US), and I register my credit card (from my country) in my google Wallet account to pay with it.
I shipped to a carrier's address in Miami, I also put the shipping address as the billing address. I was afraid to get the order cancel but all went well. They sent me emails like normal and the package was deliver today..... Just 2 more days to have it in my hands.

It is possible to buy with a foreign CC (I think), but Google will only ship to an address in the Play store home country. One way to get around this is to have Google ship to a US shipping depot (like this one: http://bluewatershippingdepot.com/) and then have the depot ship to you.

wanna help you guys..so here's an idea, hope it help's ^_^
•Send/Reply message through pebble using templates (so u wont dig ur pockets just to reply, good for lazy ppl like me ^_^)
•Anti-Theft - Make pebble vibrate non-stop , when your phone is out of bluetooth range
•Cheat on Exam using pebble , Notepad with scrollable page's (using accelerometer?) on pebble watch, could make use of phone memory when pebble could not store big data..
•Conserve battery by turning off the display by schedule or toggle, reducing opened apps (with toggle on/off)
