"PACKAGE DUPLICATE PERMISSION NULL" issue - Lenovo A7000 Questions & Answers

I've been using both my Lenovo a7000 and Lenovo K3 Note since few months and I am also a GAMER, which means I can't live without playing good games. Especially, the MODERN COMBAT series. While installing MC4, I came across a problem in which I couldn't install the apk. It shows "Package Duplicate Permission Null" and does not let me install the app. First of all it's frustrating and secondly it's not good if I am having a good phone and couldn't play such games. I would be glad if you assist me in the best way possible and help me overcome the problem.
Thank-you.

Try installing the apk from play store.this happens with a few MM roms.

It's easy to solve this. No root required.
-Just get apk permission remover app from play.
-open the app and edit the permissions
-remove the permission which says c2d or something like that (I'm sorry I don't remember exact name because I did it long time back. Post a screenshot of permissions screen I'll help you out)
-After that save that apk and install it.

[Q] Games fail to launch or are buggy?

I have problems with the following 3 games:
Puzzles & Dragons - Crashes instantly. Most likely because I am rooted.
Terraria - Crashes instantly. Could be the same thing? Haven't tested yet.
X-COM:EW - Crashes on load or comes with terribly buggy graphics.
Is this the same for anyone else who might have tried these games? Want to know before I spend time troubleshooting it.
check when was the last time they were updated. they could possibly not be ready for lollipop or for not ready for the n6.
I had the same problem.
PAD and our work Email GOOD
I resolved it was related to Super User Access being on.
I used SuperUser from ChainsDD and when the SU app was installed PAD an GOOD would crash if i removed the app everything ran fine.
I have read about some apps having root detection on them in Android 5.01 and issues with it picking up Super User 2.40 So far i haven't been able to find any way to resolve it other than uninstalling SU when i don't need it. Hopefully this points people with more skills then me in the right direction.

[Q] Google Play Store Broken

For ages now, my play store has not been working, and now I've reached my tolerance limit for I need flashfire to update to lollipop
3 weeks ago my friend told me he knows a way for me to keep my paid apps but get refunded as I just purchased poweramp. I was rooted so I gave him my phone. He told me he was going to install MOD EDIT and then modded play store. I have no idea what either do and I'm not concerned for what they do but when he did it, google play store was completely wiped off my device due to some form of error. I tried to install via apk, it lets me open the app but when google play tries to install or update, it crashes, and after placing vending.apk in my system apps folder, still occurs. Google play can't even open. Just crashes after clicking the app.:crying:
Any suggestions?
I'd also be great full if someone could provide me with a flashfire apk if possible
I managed to get the apk for flashfire, updated to lollipop and everything was fixed.
Lol:fingers-crossed::good:

While I agree with your sentiment, I doubt that was worth a report. He wasn't asking for help to pirate a program, he was asking how to undo what his friend did to his phone.
Personally, I would reinstall kit kat from a backup before your friend put illegal stuff on the phone. If you don;t have a backup I'd install the rooted image and start from scratch.

Theft is theft
Even mentioning "the app that shall go nameless" here is a no-no, even though the OP seemed to be genuinely seeking help...the fact that he claims to have figured out how to keep his stolen things is all the more reason to close this thread and provide a stern warning for anyone reading that using software such as the aforementioned is ultimately hurting this community and the developers who work on things for our devices. Keep talk about it, whether seeking help or not, off of our forums.
Thanks.

[Q] Issues with re-downloading Asus Splendid app

Hello everyone.
I am going straight to the point. I have rooted Asus zenfone 4 4" and i uninstaled asus splendid app that could brighten up my screen. I don't have any backup or something. I cant download it even from google play store because it says "Your device is not compatible". Also, i don't want to do factory reset.
Any ideas how can i install it again? Maybe somone has the .apk file or something.
@edit: I downloaded apk of splendid but i can't install it. Any ideas how to install it again on device?
Were you ever able to remedy this situation?? I just picked up a budget ZenPad S 8.0 and am having immense frustrations with screen dimming. And now, to top it all off, i'm getting spammed with this "unfortunately, Splendid has stopped." I've made all the same/similar adjustments that you have, and even read about it before buying an ASUS device, but figured -- how bad could this really be? Since the ASUS Splendid color adjustment software is no longer working, i'm at a loss for how to proceed as it won't uninstall, or even roll back to a previous version after updating it via the Google Play Store. Even attempted to install an APK, but my results (or lack there of) were identical.
Running Android Marshmallow, if that matters.

Can't install some apps for no reason?

Hey,
I just installed CM12.1. Everything works great (thanks!) and I tried to install some apps via Play Store.
However, some of them are greyed out. At first I thought it could be due to the lack of GPS and apps that need location such as Grindr Ingress couldn't be installed. But I did it through adb install and they run great.
It also happened with Fenix, BitTorrent Pro, or Yi action cam app.
Is there any way to fix it? I read the first ten pages of this forum and couldn't find anything.

Not currently but there are some interesting developments in another thread that may reduce the number if apps "greyed out" in the Play Store. For now you will need to side load.

ZTE Axon M 128GB Chinese Edition Oreo Update removes Google functionality

Yesterday I updated to Oreo as the ZTE Axon M update service showed a new update available. On update Google Play would no longer launch and Play Services was not functioning. The Google Application services were pre-installed on the phone when purchased and shipped from AliExpress.
I figured I would reset the phone and on reset all Google functionality was removed.
I figured I would simply install the GAPPS services again and followed this thread:
https://android.gadgethacks.com/how...-store-without-gapps-google-services-0176241/
However once everything installs and I launch the Play Store I get a white blank screen.
I would have expected to be prompted for the Google Account login screen and if I check Accounts from settings I can see that there is a Google Account listed but not configured and if I click it I am told to add the account from the relevant app. There is no other shortcut installed though other than Google Play Store which hangs as described previously.
I have tried various other ways to get this sorted out but the end result is the same, inability to add a google account and no way to launch the play store.
I considered YalpStore but its really not fit for purpose because anything that requires the Google Play Services framework will not run.
My phone is not rooted but it appears it does not need to be for GAPPS install functionality. I can see many threads that say this works without the need for rooting (and in any event there are no guides for rooting an Axon M).
My question is simply how do I the Google Play Store and Google Play Services to work on the ZTE Axon M with the Oreo update ? It is driving me nuts and I would never have proceeded with the update if I had realised it would simply be removed.

I tried, same issue crashing
I tried multiple methods too, but to no avail.
I do suspect a possibility. The previous time when i managed to get my gapps working when i first got the Chinese set, i had to disable the "Mi-Assistant" App as that was the one preventing my Google Play Services from Auto-Running even though it was set to allow. This time, I can not even see Google Play Services in the Auto-Run Manager and while i tried to force stop and disable the "Mi-Assistant" App, it does not allow me to disable.
I hope this info can help provide some leads to an expert who would be able to help us get back our GApps running again.
Thanks.
I do agree... meanwhile take a look here: https://code.tutsplus.com/articles/10-alternative-android-app-stores--cms-20999
good morning I found the application with the google play store inside the play store zte. After several attempts I managed to install a heavy game (1.3 GB) as ADERA disabling all the Chinese apps, keeping the display always active, I only downloaded via wi-fi. So I managed to download it without problems (I do not know which of these changes worked). the application has a triangular design with central red, the word Google followed by two Chinese characters
Hi, are you on the Android Oreo Update?

yes oreo 8.1 axon m 6 / 128gb. If there is the possibility I can post images of the app. One thing the app inside contains the play store but the apps that you download do not appear on the home of the device but within the app itself
Sounds like an emulator to me.. Would be great if you could provide the images of the app. Any small information helps.
Btw, to all, i did manage to download a GApps installer which seemed promising, cause at least it went into the login page for Google Account. But then the error of requesting to update "Google Play Services" popped up again and again and everything went down the drain again. Will try further and hopefully will have good news.
I'm new on the forum you have to explain to me how to post the images. thank you
Dears... did you see that in the ZTE Store?
Search for Google Play...

There is an application in the ZTE Market that installs a pseudo Google Play but it is sandboxed somehow and you have to launch this app to get access to your installs - feels very insecure to me - I just want a clean Google Play on the device
unfortunately for now it is the only solution I found. Otherwise you must use third-party app stores such as amazon, aptoide, etc.

I posted a link with a few of alternative stores (the best is to get the apk stand-alone ihmo) but if it is to follow that sandbox ways, as suggest, create a new "junky" account just to have it registered.
Any Update??!!
