Should be able... try it... worst is Odin refuses... next worst is it doesn't boot.. in either case just be sure to have 930V fw handy...

I'm selling my Note today, which ROM does everyone recommended to flash before I sell it? It needs to be a full ROM so the guy can update. Thanks.

A Stock rom from this section:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
the latest stock rom
1.Keep as it is (why to take chance to brick)
2.As per choice of buyer
3.Flash with wipe a older ROM, so buyer get choice to update/Root it easily.
Yeah I think I'll just flash a stock ROM with root and call it a day. Thanks a ton guys, you Note guys are a friendly bunch.

Why are you selling? You won't find a better phone anyway!

I bought the Nexus. I prefer stock and an easier to handle size. Also the Rogers Note is coming out soon and my contract is almost up My girlfriend is gonna be a happy iPhone 4s user on valentines day though. I couldn't convert her so I had to trade it.

If she didnt convert then shes not a keeper bro... just sayin..

I knew there would be a reference to an Iphone in here somewhere...lol.
Note to a Nexus... I hope you get on with it. As for which rom - flash an early Samsung rom is your best bet, from the region you got it from.
Feel free to check out "our" forum as often as you want - you'll be most welcome. We're a friendly bunch as we have been around the block so many times, in search of the best phone available
What to do if I want to unroot and flash rom?
In dr.ketan's stock ROM post, he wrote...
"If you are not rooted n dont want Root
just flash with PC odin, (same as Older ROM Installation shown above)"
What if I am rooted, but don't want root anymore?
Can I still just flash with PC odin? Would it mess up because the Note was rooted?

yes you can flash stock rom with Odin on rooted note, without issue. It will make your next rom unrooted too.

Your phone will not get unlocked if you flash any other ROM.

But i mean to flash a ROM by odin (with other baseband); NO to flash a rom by CWM
Won't work. Flashing ROM's (either through CWM or Odin) does not remove the simlock.
Nope. No way you could network unlock a phone by changing the Os or the firmware. If you want to unlock it you could do this via GSM ,well as far as I know. So no and don't search anymore I have and many before me but we all got the same simple disgusting answer >>>no<<<

You will most probably brick your phone If you use ODIN stock. Now you can try install a custom att rom on your tmobile, but me personally I havent seen that yet.
You can try flashing the att deodex stock rom zip through recovery. At worst you will soft brick but it might work. Good luck.

If it's Stock OC4 received by OTA, then no. Go here if you're on 4.4.2 or 4.4.4 : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3076803 pre-rooted too.
EDIT: method no longer possible. guide has been updated to the OF2 baseband.

It's all in the Odin file. Just make sure you've used Odin to put the same version of stock as the ROM you want to flash.

Is your ROM the same version of Android as was on it before you flashed? I'm just saying you have to Odin the same Android version (say 5.0.2) as the ROM you want to use. Then after you Odin the base you re-root, Odin TWRP then flash your ROM.

What did you have before that? Did you take the Tmo update to 5.1.1 or is that the room you flashed?

What's "the base" in "Odin the base"?
I was on Android 5.1.1, and I just TWRPd LineageOS 14.1, which implies that my Android version also went up a couple of points. But now my SIM card isn't detected, and I guess it's due to the baseband firmware needing an update, no? So, should I have "Odined the base"? If so, which "base", and could I have TWRPd it instead? Thanks!
