where can i find BLU R1 HD driver for windows 7? - BLU R1 HD Questions & Answers

Anyone can tell me where to download BLU R1 HD driver for windows 7?
For whatever reason, my windows 7 VM does not recognize the phone and I finally narrowed it down to missing the correct driver. (I have no USB device driver in my windows 7 machine).
Thanks in advance.

I tried the site for another download, android_cdc_driver.zip, the zip file i downloaded is not a valid zip file. I tried it multiple times in difference windows laptop. I will try the one you suggested. For whatever reason, it gives me network error. I will try again tomorrow and let you know if this zip file downloaded okay.
Thanks

I had win7 and eventually gave up using it on R1HD. Drivers couldn't be installed!
I switched to Win8.1, rest was story. Super smooth and easy.
I heard Win10 is even better than win8.1.
Good luck,

[Q] Computer wont recognize dell streak 7

Hello again. I am attempting to root my new dell streak 7, froyo 2.2.2 stock, wifi only device using gingerbreak. I was advised from another thread I posted to download gingerbreak using my computer then transfer the file to my Dell Streak 7, since my device would not download gingerbreak successfully. I have tried to do this but my Dell computer will not recognize my Streak. I am using a stock usb cable. When I plug it in the Windows Device Manager comes up and wants to search for drivers. I have allowed it, not allowed it and even told it not to search anymore. None of this has helped. Then my computer says there was a problem installing my device and it might not work properly. It still won't recognize my device as being plugged in at all, but my Streak does recognize that it has been plugged into the computer. USB debugging is on. All I want to do is get gingerbreak on my device so that I can root it and get rid of all the stock stuff that came with it originally. I have searched similar threads but they didnt have an answer or were not the exact thing I needed. Please help. Thank you in advance.
Your computer could not find the driver for the Streak. You need to go to Dell website and download the driver for you computer operating system. Here is the link:
http://support.dell.com/support/dow...dateid=-1&formatid=-1&source=-1&fileid=447160
After downloading the driver, unzip it to a directory in your pc. When you connect the Streak to the pc, windows will ask you for the driver. Make sure to enter the directory where you unzip the driver.

This is NOT true - If you're Dell Streak 7 has froyo 2.2.2 stock - it should recognize it automatically - just curious what version windows you're using...
Thanks! I am using win xp sp3. I really hope there is a fix because this is very frustrating. I did however get gingerbreak on the ds7 by dl'ing from the device while it was plugged in to my computer. Although i'm not sure if it is on the sd card or the device itself. It does show up on my device though. But I still need to hook up to computer for music xfer etc.
try dell's sync-up

No problem - for media transfer between your pc and your dell streak 7 - have you tried using Dell's SyncUP? You will need to download from this website to your pc and there should be an app SyncUP on your stock dell streak 7...

Have you tried the driver from Dell's link that I gave you? Yes, the computer should automatically recognize a device, but through my experience, nothing is perfect. That's why Dell posted the driver for people to download in case the computer did not recognize the Streak. In fact, here is Dell's description of this driver:
Set of USB drivers needed so Windows XP or Windows 7 can correctly identify the Streak & device when it is connected to a PC

My streak when stock did not recognize properly either with win 7 x64. Even the drivers in the folder for win7 and vista 64 wouldn't work. I think I wound up using the xp 64 drivers using compatibility mode.
Hope this helps!!

Man this is really getting me down. So I downloaded the file that you recommended from the link that you provided. After messing around for over an hour with the "dell download manager application," and about pulling my hair out over that worthless application. I finally just downloaded the file with my own browser (firefox 4.0). But it is a RAR file and does not give me the option to unzip it. I can pretty much download it to anyplace on my computer that I want but I downloaded it to the default which is my desktop. Then after running the device manager to install the ds7, my computer will not find the RAR file that I downloaded to the desktop. I have the option, as I said earlier, to download it into the existing dell drivers file that is on my computer but I actually have to put it in a file. There are several driver files listed there all starting with R and about 6 numbers after it, but I don't know which to put it in or if that is even what I should do. Suggestions?
After you have down'd the drivers from otmos's link on Sunday. Unzip the 16mb file to a suitable directory. Now when you install the drivers point the location to the Drivers folder in the directory that you unzipped ADB-Drivers.zip into and allow it to search for the correct file itself from there. Don't try to point to the individual sub directories.
Dell's SyncUP on it's own does not install the drivers.
Seriously? You have to go through hoops to get USB Mass Storage to work with the Dell Streak and Windows?
I just plug it in and tap the "Connect to computer" or whatever the screen is for starting mass storage. I rarely use it, but I did a few days ago to dump a few gigs of music over. Just worked in Linux..

rar files are a type of compressed file, similar to zip, you need to use a program like WinRAR to extract them. Windows will not recognize the drivers that are compressed in the rar file. Once you uncompressed them into a folder on your desktop, do the device manager to install the ds7 like before, and direct it to find the drivers in that uncompressed folder.

Perhaps he's just over complicating it then if he can't get adb to work, just get it on the SD card and install it.
Thanks so much everyone, finally got it working. Had to install drivers for Nero mobile sync and the Nero mobile sync application to my computer. Now recognizes and has a gui for moving and transferring files back and forth.
Tried to thank everyone but only allowed 5 a day.
Thanks again.

If you installed Dell Sync correctly and the Fastboot and ADB drivers correctly the your problem is driver related.... Do you not see a yellow exclamation in your device manager for you to update the driver?
You should probably be install the Android SDK with the Google USB drivers also

I believe you are trying to connect your Streak 7 to your computer so that you can transfer musics and files onto your Streak 7, right? If that is the case, Honeycomb does not support USB as mass disk device. You need to upgrade to Win 7 or use an app from the marketplace to do this.
Windows XP does not support MTP natively, you have to do a bunch of driver crap to get it to work.

You need the WMP11 runtimes (as that has MTP support).
Then you need the specific mtp driver for the S7, which is included in Fastboot+ADB.zip
It's much easier just to use an app and do a wireless transfer.
All HC and newer devices only officially support MTP
(at least that's what goog wants, new devices that dont support MTP are in the minority)
I believe the WMP11 runtimes are offered via windows update, the only thing you need to specifically download are the device specific mtp drivers.
(They're not even drivers per-se, you can force install a generic mtp driver and it'll work fine, but that's besides the point)

Yes,i was trying to connect my Streak 7 to computer that has windows XP professional,so that i can transfer musics and files onto Streak 7 honeycomb 3.2.
If i upgrade to Win 7 does the device show up in my computer ?
And if you say i need to use an app from the marketplace to do this. what is the App that i need to download on device ? and even if i download it on the device does that make the device recognizable on my computer on XP ?
Please, educate me as not always i have internet connection and would like to transfer files like music and books to the DS7 from a computer thats not on internet network.
Thanks

If you have Win 7, just plug the DS7 in and it will be recognized as an MTP device in Windows Explorer or the Devices and Printers folder.
Or you can use an app like Wifi File Explorer or File Expert to wirelessly transfer file to/from your computer and your DS7. You need to have a Wifi network. Consult instructions and support through these apps on how to use them.
Yes I was able to see the DS7 in my computer on windows 7,and was able to transfer musica and movies but, when i transfer books they get transferred but not visible on the device unless i open them a App Called "Quick Office" where it shows all the loaded files on DS7,any idea how to get them as different folder or see them seperately ,Also i saw the drivers.zip but did not extract it as did not feel the use of it !is there a specif use of it!

Nexus 7 Driver Failure

Please don't troll, my first post
So, my Nexus 7came a few days ago, and since then I've been playing around with it a lot.
Yesterday I decided I was going to root the beautiful tablet.
I plugged it into my laptop (Windows 7 64bit) and then I saw an error whilst it tried to install the drivers.
It had two crosses by the two drivers it was trying to install.
I plugged it into another laptop (Windows Vista 32bit) and it installed the drivers perfectly and quickly.
I understand that I have to have the Nexus 7 plugged in to root it, and so now I am highly confused and annoyed.
My laptop doesn't recognize it and it doesn't appear in Computer.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
If you need anymore information, just let me know! (=
Works fine for me after about 10 minutes of searching and reading. No need to add to the thread clutter.

Follow instructions in the Nexus 7 Root Toolkit
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475
Remember to scroll all the way down in each individual window of the guide to setting up the drivers. I drove myself crazy before I realized that I had missed something important. Also if your desktop is 64bit, you have to use the 64bit drivers. Good luck!

Have you downloaded these yet they are new out.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796165
Install the android sdk. Go to device manager and find your nexus, right click and update driver software. Search computer, select all locations (or something like that) then have disk and browse to your installation. Uh underneath extras there is a folder with the driver you're going to select.
I'm at work so that's a general idea, Google "cyanogenmod adb driver install" and skip the part about replacing the file with a custom one since the nexus is included by default.

Yep. Tried that aswell... if it had worked I wouldn't of come back to ask if anyone had any other ideas as to why it doesn't work..
I thought it was possible to ask questions on here without people saying stuff like that...
clearly you are doing something wrong because the drivers work.
If you need help, you need to provide more details on what you are trying and what the issue is when you try to install... Not just an image of what happens when you plug the device in. That part is obvious that you don't have the drivers installed.
So of the various methods of getting drivers, which ones did you try and what did they say when you tried loading them?

Those are the drivers... now you need to load them.... Not using Vista for many years... did a simple google search and found...
Code:
Windows Vista
To install the Android USB driver on Windows Vista for the first time:
Connect your Android-powered device to your computer's USB port. Windows will detect the device and launch the Found New Hardware wizard.
Select Locate and install driver software.
Select Don't search online.
Select I don't have the disk. Show me other options.
Select Browse my computer for driver software.
Click Browse and locate the USB driver folder. (The Google USB Driver is located in <sdk>\extras\google\usb_driver\.) As long as you specified the exact location of the installation package, you may leave Include subfolders checked or unchecked—it doesn't matter.
Click Next. Vista may prompt you to confirm the privilege elevation required for driver installation. Confirm it.
When Vista asks if you'd like to install the Google ADB Interface device, click Install to install the driver.
Or, to upgrade an existing Android USB driver on Windows Vista with the new driver:
Connect your Android-powered device to your computer's USB port.
Right-click on Computer from your desktop or Windows Explorer, and select Manage.
Select Device Manager in the left pane.
Locate and expand ADB Interface in the right pane.
Right-click on Listed Nexus 7 Device, and select Update Driver Software.
When Vista starts updating the driver, a prompt will ask how you want to search for the driver software.
Click Next. Vista might prompt you to confirm the privilege elevation required for driver installation. Confirm it.
When Vista asks if you'd like to install the Google ADB Interface device, click Install to upgrade the driver.
Change the location in the instructions to where you unloaded those USB drivers and you should be on your way...

Windows 8 drivers

I am running Windows 8 at work to test some compatibility with a few applications we use. I'm having difficulty getting drivers for my i9000 though. I've tried the 1.5.5.0 for Windows 7 drivers, as well as 1.5.9.0 that I found elsewhere on the forum, meant for Windows 8, but the device shows up as i9000-GT in error state in device manager. I even installed the latest version of Kies hoping it would pick up some drivers.I can mount the storage fine, but I cannot ADB to the phone (nothing listed with adb devices).
I know there are probably very few people running Windows 8, but does anyone have any ideas?

How to get Windows drivers after Pie update?

Hi,
I upgraded my Nokia 8 to Pie a while ago and now I had to reinstall windows.
Now when I connect the phone to my computer I get the CD drive that should contain the driver but when I try to open it I get a "Please insert a disk into CD-ROM drive F:".
So... how to get the driver from the phone in this case? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the CD device, tried reassigning a drive letter to no avail. This was working just fine prior the Pie update. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks!

What i tried was remove all usb root hubs from device manager on windows and then scan for hardware changes. Everything was back to normal. But since you just reinstalled windows, i don't know if it'll work. But no harm in trying, right?
Also, try searching for drivers from windows update. Check device manager to try and update the mtp drivers manually from windows update.
Or you could just connect it to some windows 7 pc, copy all drivers and install it in your windows 10 one.

Whatever I did, it showed up only as an empty drive. I ended up crawling the filesystem via `adb` and pulled the iso from the phone. It's still there, it just doesn't mount the contents. So I extracted it and put it in Gdrive for future reference. Whoever is interested, can find it here.

Try one more thing: enable developer options by clicking on the build no in about phone a number of times. Go to developer options>default usb configuration. Try meddling with those settings.
