This mod is for the stock GINGERBREAD ROM so it's quite old now.
I'm closing the thread.

Simply update using the file below from recovery, just like that!
Download: LG2x-System-Fonts-v2.zip

Separate APK for ROM Builders etc
Rename to Fonts.apk
Install in /system/app/ replacing Fonts.apk
Remove /data/data/com.jungle.app.fonts/* in your update scripts to support upgrades
Provide appropriate credit
Download: Fonts-v2.apk

Version 2 Released!
New apk added guys, Nokia Pure, Windows Phone 7 and Ubuntu regular fonts included.
I must admit, they all look very good.
I'll make an update.zip for this later in the day to simplify the installation procedure.

Is that my 2X or there is no bold font? Tried Ubuntu and Win7 fonts and looks like there is no bold font (or at least K9 and Gmail are unable to show bold text).
Any clue?

No, they don't contain a bold typeface, in fact I think DroidSans is the only one that does (could be wrong on that).

I'm not that comfortable using adb shell commands but do have Root Explorer. I understand Steps 1 to 7 and how to do this using Root Explorer but not quite certain what needs to be in Step 8. Would anyone be kind enough to run me through getting Step 8 to work using Root Explorer? Thanks!

Just delete the entire "com.jungle.app.fonts" directory from /data/data/ then reboot.

Be sure you're deleting the right folder!

Yep, its a limitation of the LG app, and Android in general, only the primary font can be changed with this app and if the system recognises that the new font doesn't match the system bold font (DroidSans) it ignores the bold.
You can put you own in /system/fonts/ if you like, rename them of course and backup first. Set DroidSans in my app to use those fonts.

Add an .zip extension to the .hwt file on PC, extract and edit what you like (icons must be same dimensions), there are XML's to edit more but I have no clue what to do there
Then zip back up and change from zip to .hwt
Be careful what you mess with!

I better leave it at that, I would like to modify the home button, because I like the circle one and not the Huawei logo....

Just got my M7!
Change the font and it will change the icons
Apply the theme then click customize, choose font and you will see 2

I'm not able to delete the huawei logo and set the original circle for home button
Suggestions?
EDIT: changed fonts and restarted the phone, now it's ok

Actually it has nothing to do with with fonts. If you want to change soft keys icons you just have to restart your device provided that theme has modified soft keys icons.

[THEME] Lollipop stock theme emotion UI 3.0

Look at the second post.
(I found an Emotion UI theme on xda and I've modified it with lollipop stock icons. Only icons are intended to be changed with this theme not other system customisations, I'm not able to do so. If someone wants to go ahead with developing and do something more with this theme he will be welcome. This theme is not mine, I've just modified it in order to have perfetc icons on my device (I own a g7 not p7) Thanks to creator of the theme.)
This theme should works with any huawei device but I can't be sure because I can't test it. Icons are from different icon packs found on google play store and from iconfinder. Wallpapers links are in the second post. There won't be any update for lollipop 5.1 or for marshmallow, I update my themes every time I have some time to spend on it so don't ask for specific update. I don't know exctacly where to upload I tried two differente sites, hope it will works.

The theme was only intended for icons change, I have no Idea how to modify the rest of the theme, you can ask the original creator of the theme. New version of icons theme will be aviable today! I fixed some things and add more lollipop stock icons!

I don't think I will update it constantly. When I've got some time I may do something like that. I'm using the Material OS theme now so I think I will not update Lollimotion UI anymore.

I guess the OP is not the real creator of these font packages and I believe that he has just copied the files from this Twitter account https://twitter.com/OnePlusArb/status/1324996953076359169 to here for opening a thread, so you'd probably better to ask the guys on Twitter to fix any issues. Aslo, OP can correct me if I'm wrong.

How do I add a theme?​
Download the theme suitable for your version of EMUI you want from our site.
The file you downloaded should have the extension .hwt (Huawei theme).
Then find the downloaded .hwt file in the file manager. (It is usually located in the Downloads folder.)
Copy or move the .hwt (blabla.hwt) file you downloaded in the file manager.
Copy or paste the file into Huawei’s theme folder.
“You can paste it directly into the HWThemes folder. If there is no such folder, enter the Huawei folder then paste it into the Themes folder.”

I've downloaded files and paste to Huawei themes folder. But they aren't visible in Theme app (I cleared app data).
Maybe the problem is that after downloading there is hwt folder, not hwt file. I use other themes, shared by other forum user and there was a hwt file- after pasting it to Huawei theme folder it works in my Huawei P40 Pro (EMUI 10. 1). Hello, I think you have to change file name. If you see like .zip on theme name, change this file extention to .hwt or still you see .hwt, change to .hwt because may be it is have a strange problem. Because I heard the first time like that problem.

Thank. Now work OK. It downloaded files as zip files. After changing zip do hwt extension works OK.
