Error 255 Xposed Install - Xposed General

I am trying to install Xposed via TWRP but it simply says Updater process ended with error 255.
Error installing zip xxxx.zip
I've searched but can't find a solution?
Thanks

Anyone?

Seems to be an issue with TWRP itself. Search for either a newer version or a different version of TWRP.

Error 255

Hi,
I've just received my new Razr i yesterday. I've unlock the bootloader, rooted it and instal CWM 6.0.1.9.
My problem is under the CWM, as soon as I want to install a .zip I've always this message : "E: Error in /external_sd/ ... .zip (Status 255) Installation aborted"
Has anyone the same problem or a solution to solve this problem ?
Thank you

Take the update-binary from any of your working RAZR i flashable zip (or an OTA update.zip) and drag and drop into the zip you are trying to flash.
255 means binary not compatible pretty much.
ARM update-binary won't work on x86 device
This is not development by the way.

Please provide any such binary that worked for you i replaced with few i know but could not get rid of status 255 error for same device
I tried this and error 255 did not appear again. Though, it did still say 'installation aborted' without saying why.

[Q] [Nameless][4.4.4][P7310][EXT4 + F2FS]

Hi,
I'm trying to install nameless-4.4.4-20141108-p5wifi-HOMEMADE-f2fs.zip but I get the following error message from twrp 2.7.1.0
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/nameless-4.4.4-20141108-p5wifi-HOMEMADE-f2fs.zip'
I downloaded it again, with the same result. I can open the zipfile in windows explorer, so I guess it's not broken.
I can install LS-KK-MileStone-3.2-p5wifi-system-cache-f2fs.zip without any problems.
Anyone any ideas of what might be going wrong with the nameless-zip and how to fix it?
Thanx a lot,
Guenther

[Xposed] Error Executing Binary Updater (on ZTE Grand X Max+) ?

I tried flashing the [sdk 22 arm] zip for lollipop (5.1) on my phone, but every time i tried, I got an error saying "error executing binary updater in {zip file}". Occasionally, when i tried, i also got an error about low storage space. What is a binary updater error? How do I fix it? I know for sure i'm using the right zip. Please help me out here. Is it just incompatible with my phone, or there's something I can do about it?

Xposed installation issue

I am running a stock, rooted rom 6.0.1, Baseband of MDM9625_104662.22.05.32R, Build number is MMB29S and I am trying to get Xposed installed. The issue I am having is I can't get framework to install no matter what I try. I have tried using the xposed-v79-sdk-arm.zip and am getting this error:
cp: write error: No space left on device
E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/Xposed/xposed-v79-sdk23-arm.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/Xposed/xposed-v79-sdk23-arm.zip'
Failed.
Anyone have any ideas? This is driving me nuts. I have had xposed installed on numerous other phones with no issues but can't get it to work on this no matter what I try

Use a recovery that allows disabling signature verification, for example TWRP.
TWRP Manager 3.0.0 on playstore? I tried it, there are no option to disable signsture. Or I'm doing it wrong. If there's a specific link to download or use it, highly appreciated
Thanks

TWRP Manager only downloads the TWRP for your device (if any is available). You have to flash it either manually by using ADB or use an app like ROM Installer or Flashify. Best way is via ADB. If you don't know how to do this, search for "your device name TWRP ADB flash"
