You guys have heard abot jio net but in my mobile the 'my jio app' isn't opening plzzz help.......
Not opening means? Do you get any errors ?
or is the application getting closed by itself?
You have any error message or after you click the app, it shows nothing?
How about a reboot?

i am facing the same problem every time i try an open to register Jio 4G Voice app it says " Service Restricted .. this service is not available in your region. My honor 4X is running the latest official update by Huawei (Marshmallow) .. Need Help

Yes ! the device is Volte compatible and the moderators at Hihonor community were discussing about an update resolving issues that arose in Marshmallow update. Fingers crossed lets hope they bring in Volte feature also .

This is not related to VoLTE update. Seems that the app was not able to identify your location (or) identified your location as some other country rather than INDIA.
Check with your GPS location with Google maps and ensure that it shows the correct location.

VoLTE update is not needed for this app.
Infact this app is used for Non-VoLTE mobiles.

As stated in a thread for honor 6, There are 4 regions in India where Jio does not have a band 3 LTE license.
May be that is the reason. You can look up the regions on Wikipedia or head to honor 5 forum for more information.

Hoping so that's not the reason in this case.
Bcos, Honor 4X supports 2 bands of JIO Network - Band 3 and Band 40.
Since Band 40 is available everywhere, this is the problem in the software and not due to the network.

I own an officially unlocked SM-N910T mobile (updated to latest MM 6.0.1) and currently using it in India. I can use 4g LTE for data but VoLTE doesn't work on my phone.
My network operator JIO provides LTE/VoLTE on Band 3, 5 and 40. I have enabled VoLTE from Settings > Calls > Call settings but no joy
VoLTE is enabled on my SIM and I can use it on another mobile.
I have been trying to understand what could be the issue over last 2 weeks but without any satisfactory answer from anyone.
So, I am wondering:
1. Is it because I don't have Indian CSC on my T-mobile phone? Is it even possible to flash Indian CSC on this device?
2. Is it because my device IMEI is 'NOT -INDIAN IMEI" and hence not supported? Customer care gives me more confusing answers - sometimes they say my phone is compatible for VoLTE and some say only Indian devices are supported.
3. Is something still locked to TMOBILE even after the official unlock?
Any answers are really appreciated from the any of you!

It may be a regional thing. My 910t uses volte on straight talk in the states with an att sim with no issues. Surprised me actually.
Same problem for me too.. I too own N910T.. Volte is enabled but Call failed error comes again nd again..... Can Anyone please help out....

Hi devbiju, thanks for pointing me to the post, but more help is appreciated. I did change my rom to RAM-rom. how do i set the IMS-APN. whenever i add the IMS apn, it doesn't stick

After RAM Rom installation you can flash INU CSC, Dr Ketan uploaded it in some threads which i forgot.
for IMS apn , you simply create new APN with name and type as IMS and save it. It may not be listed or need not be selected in APNs list. but you could see the VoLTE in status bar after creating it. Also ensure that you create jionet APN first to get LTE access instead of using default jio APN settings.

I have a unlocked 910-T on Cricket and I can't use WiFi calling or VoLTE. And I got there new SIM card and still no go.

I think they totally forgot about the UK. Maybe the Brexit vote has isolated us from all android updates too.
If you are on C432B182 it's rolling out now. If you are on C432B166 then Huawei expect it to be completed by end of May.
I am in the uk and have had android 7 for ages l09c432b378. Why dont you update using hicare? Its fantastic on this phone. EE has wifi calling enabled when you update to 7 (even tho they say p9 is not compatible yet)

I tried HiCare but it says its upto date. Using HiSuite, it does not connect to the servers. :silly:
Also is L09C432B182 (what I am on now) network specific or generic ?

I installed custom ROM on my Honor 4x now having 4g network issue, my jio is detecting but there is no network and service but 2g & 3g is working fine. I tried with different ROMs lineageOS, cyanogenmod & MIUI now i am using mokee but still getting same issue can someone help me to solve this issue
use jio sim in 2nd slot and set network settings in LTE only it works from , i to faced same problem (works in lineage os)

Try sim 1 and set it to LTE only .

Like jio sim supports only 4g network, when i insert jio sim it shows emergency call only and when i insert airtel 4g sim, it works only on 3g doesn't show 4g icon on notification bar. I tried with all basic required ideas to check LTE network if working or not. Its not working

There are 5 smartphones at my home as all are using jio so network coverage is fine. I have also tried with 2, 3 different jio sim in my phone same issue. I am sure there is fault of LTE driver or else software fault

I don't own a 4X. If it is indeed a hardware problem, service center is your best bet.
