Jio app not opening....

Hello guys
My self Tanaj holding Honor 4x.
You guys have heard abot jio net but in my mobile the 'my jio app' isn't opening plzzz help.......

Not opening means? Do you get any errors ?
or is the application getting closed by itself?

You have any error message or after you click the app, it shows nothing?
How about a reboot?

i am facing the same problem every time i try an open to register Jio 4G Voice app it says " Service Restricted .. this service is not available in your region. My honor 4X is running the latest official update by Huawei (Marshmallow) .. Need Help

That's weird, since the device is on their list of VoLTE capable devices

Yes ! the device is Volte compatible and the moderators at Hihonor community were discussing about an update resolving issues that arose in Marshmallow update. Fingers crossed lets hope they bring in Volte feature also .

This is not related to VoLTE update. Seems that the app was not able to identify your location (or) identified your location as some other country rather than INDIA.
Check with your GPS location with Google maps and ensure that it shows the correct location.

VoLTE update is not needed for this app.
Infact this app is used for Non-VoLTE mobiles.

As stated in a thread for honor 6, There are 4 regions in India where Jio does not have a band 3 LTE license.
May be that is the reason. You can look up the regions on Wikipedia or head to honor 5 forum for more information.

Hoping so that's not the reason in this case.
Bcos, Honor 4X supports 2 bands of JIO Network - Band 3 and Band 40.
Since Band 40 is available everywhere, this is the problem in the software and not due to the network.

VoLTE not working on T-mobile Note 4 on JIO

Hi members!
I own an officially unlocked SM-N910T mobile (updated to latest MM 6.0.1) and currently using it in India. I can use 4g LTE for data but VoLTE doesn't work on my phone.
My network operator JIO provides LTE/VoLTE on Band 3, 5 and 40. I have enabled VoLTE from Settings > Calls > Call settings but no joy
VoLTE is enabled on my SIM and I can use it on another mobile.
I have been trying to understand what could be the issue over last 2 weeks but without any satisfactory answer from anyone.
So, I am wondering:
1. Is it because I don't have Indian CSC on my T-mobile phone? Is it even possible to flash Indian CSC on this device?
2. Is it because my device IMEI is 'NOT -INDIAN IMEI" and hence not supported? Customer care gives me more confusing answers - sometimes they say my phone is compatible for VoLTE and some say only Indian devices are supported.
3. Is something still locked to TMOBILE even after the official unlock?
Any answers are really appreciated from the any of you!

It may be a regional thing. My 910t uses volte on straight talk in the states with an att sim with no issues. Surprised me actually.

Same problem for me too.. I too own N910T.. Volte is enabled but Call failed error comes again nd again..... Can Anyone please help out....

Hi devbiju, thanks for pointing me to the post, but more help is appreciated. I did change my rom to RAM-rom. how do i set the IMS-APN. whenever i add the IMS apn, it doesn't stick
Please help.

After RAM Rom installation you can flash INU CSC, Dr Ketan uploaded it in some threads which i forgot.
for IMS apn , you simply create new APN with name and type as IMS and save it. It may not be listed or need not be selected in APNs list. but you could see the VoLTE in status bar after creating it. Also ensure that you create jionet APN first to get LTE access instead of using default jio APN settings.

I have a unlocked 910-T on Cricket and I can't use WiFi calling or VoLTE. And I got there new SIM card and still no go.

Volte patch with fp working in custom rom

Hi devs,
Can anyone help us with custom rom including volte patch? Any kind of rom like RR, CM, PAC, MIUI, etc would be great....!

i guess you can enable volte yourself if rooted your phone. i asked in a thread still no one responded. hope you can give try if you have jio sim

We can access volte in s208 buggy version dude. I want to know anyone showing interest for custom roms with volte patch!

i have tried using jio sim of my friends but i was not able to make call. somewhere read we have register imei no in jio database, so this could be reason not able to make call. But i can make normal calls with vodafone but not volte. its working in s219 rooted. so same can be added as patch to new roms.

Airtel volte

Airtel isn't VOLTE enabled network yet. They're in beta phase. It means Airtel VOLTE is available only in some specific regions. So wait for Airtel to fully launch VOLTE services in your circle.

Airtel is VOLTE enabled now but Motorola doesn't support it yet and it doesn't look they are going to enable it anytime soon. 8.1 update maybe? ??*

Im from Kerala correct place is kochi Airtel volte is working fine for me.and I didn't get volte when its in stock ROM.but in custom ROM I get volte.. Currently I am in aex ROM also in pe ROM also..
Check the SS for the proof.

Before rooting my phone on the basis of your comment .
Can please assure me with more screenshot to prove that Airtel VoLTE is working on your phone?
Because nobody is yet able to use Airtel VoLTE on G5s Plus.

Sure I can show you some screenshot
You can see theres HD icon showing that's the call is voltee..and instead of normal hellotune its a beep sound which is showing its a volte call.. Please note the HD icon on the 3rd pic..call quality is awesome....
Note: please backup your persist and efs before flashing... Never flash your efs and persist with other..

And if I succeed we can help others to reach the same level.

For rooting you need to follow the thread in development section..
The first step is you need to unlock bootloader and install twrp. Be careful u need to install 64bit supported twrp and also has the option to backup persist partition. If twrp is not compatible for 64 bit youu cant. Install oreo roms because they are 64bit so be carefull.Install magisk for root.

Hey, I have successfully flashed a Sprint LG V40 v405ua to US firmware 20g but VoLTE is not working. I am on Tmobile network and every time I make a phone call it switches from LTE to H. I heard Tmobile will be moving all phone calls to VoLTE in the middle of 2022. How can I enable VoLTE? Am I missing something? Thanks!

if you have access to the OP section, try to change it in cust.prop ro.vendor.lge.build.target_operator = OPEN to TMO

I'd suggest looking at the apn settings. That should be working (volte) without any system modifications.

I checked the APN settings and they are all correct. I am using US firmware version 20g, should I try using an earlier one like 20f? What versions are wokring for you? thanks

I don't have a v40 anymore but remember any version I tried of us open cross flashed to my at&t would work no problem. I remember my carrier mint mobile required you to select 'vowifi' in the account to get that to work. But volte always worked.
you might want to consider joining the v40 tele grp see if they can further assist. Maybe also consider calling t-mo, re your account may not be provisioned for volte? Not sure that's even possible but why not check anyway?

If it is like AT&T does whitelisting, ROM does not matter, but IMEI.
