This is a port of the stock Marshmallow T700 rom for the SM-T705.
Will also work for the T700.
NOTE: As this is ported from the T700 there will be no mobile data, wifi only.
This ROM is just so T705 owners can try out MM until the official release. *
Install with TWRP. Make sure you have the latest bootloader installed.*

First boot takes at least 10 mins.*

Why do you guy`s not just flash an T700 rom, it might not be for your specific country, but they support a number of languages, I am using the NewZealand rom on my UK T800 and it works great.

Sorry i went from the thread title T705/T700, I though you were porting an T705 rom to the T700 like you did with the T805 to the T800, thanks for that by the way.

Installation
Hi,
I just installed this and wanted to share my experience. The first time i tried, it got stuck on formatting system and suddenly twrp restarted itself. i figured, ok, lets try this again so i performed a wipe and it gave me an error about /system. I was a bit freaked out, but figured i'd try flashing again. This time it went through and went to the next step of extracting system. Took about 5 or more minutes to install. I then rebooted and per the OP, it did take at least 10 minutes to boot after one initial quick reboot which i think has to do with superSU. Just be patient and it should start.
Thanks to @ashyx for making the zip file, much easier to install!!!
I have a problem overlay screen in this rom with gallery ???*???*???*
Same experuence as hochoch. first attempt system mount failed. Wiped again. Worked. Installed on t-700. Brightness seems a bit low compare to aosp but auto is not broken - it still works. Do you plan to make a deodexed / debloated version?
In any case, thanks for this!

I don't plan to do anything as there is not much point considering the official rom will be out soon.
For what reason would you need a deodexed rom anyway?

If anyone is interested I built straight from source a ROM based off of LMY48M. This is pure android 5.1.1 with no modifications. I have been running it all morning without issues..

Gonna ask it here: It's been some time since I've last did some rooting and flashing stuff, but at the moment my nexus 5 is on LMY48B. How do I update again without having to wipe everything and without undoing root?

I use notepad plus plus and edit the flash all batch file look towards the bottom where it has - W and delete the - W and save. When you use flash on to flash everything it will install the update but you will not lose any of your SD data such as photos taken anything in your download folder. Or if you want to go the manual route you can extract the update to where you have the boot and recovery and system images and you can manually flash those in bootloader mode. Also just an FYI if anyone flashes the update and they're on a 32 gig model but they notice that they only have 11 gigabytes available you need to go into the stock recovery and do a full wipe factory reset to fix the problem.
And it brings back the memory leak bug... well done, google

Your system eats through the ram and doesn't release it.
Soon (after 4 days or so) your free ram will be so low, that there will be no cached apps in background. Everything you open, will start from zero.
Check how long you've been running since last reboot (uptime) and how much system is using from ram memory.
It shouldn't be over 450mb overall

Yeah I did regular wipe and tried the advanced wipe with system, data, cache and dalvik. Makes me sad I can't seem to get this awesome rom to work.
Don't feel sad its buggy AF its unusable
Their really should make a thread for this I tried this on my unlock Sprint s5 and its not as buggy as people say Im using build 10302015 klte version and it pretty smooth now on tap doesn't work but everything else so far does. For those having trouble installing or it getting stuck booting just power off reboot recovery and factory reset again and it should work

You just need to flash system and boot images, no need to erase userdata
The commands are fastboot flash system system.img and fastboot flash boot boot.img, once you've extracted the zip
BTW, there are no working gapps for this as of now, so you may want to wait
Also, if I change the wallpaper it becomes black
Overall quite a smooth experience

Thanks. Everything worked just fine.
Backup internal rom with twrp
Flash with fastboot system and boot images
Clean cache, dalvik, data with twrp
Took about 5~6 minutes for first boot, but it did it!
The down side was all my old user data from /storage/emulated/0/ was moved to /storage/emulated/0/0/ so I had to restore that. Didn't get why this have happened!?
Now I wish to convert Phoenix OS form internal rom to secondary rom and restore my primary rom from backups.
As long as Phoenix OS is based on lollipop it would be great to have flashable zip instead for easy multirom support
BTW it is great new vision for tablet OS. Of course 7 inches screen is extremely small for windowed os. but Samsung Notes do multiwindow on even smaller screens
Although some of the things do not work, like youtube video in android chrome browser and I doubt developer will maintain grouper till stable release.
.del.
Thanks for the link. Im going to flash this and check it out.
Edit: So, I just flashed this and my first impression was when the "Android is starting" dialouge came up. I saw it was in chinese and sortof freaked out. But, the setup went rather quick and I am up and running with my bluetooth keyboard and usb mouse. I have not flashed Gapps yet, although there are some apps preinstalled. The only problem I have encountered so far, is the system UI has crashed once, and some of the preinstalled apps are in chinese.

Installed the ROM this afternoon and so far it's working fine. I just have a question and an observation.
The question is how can I root the ROM so I can use Xposed. The observation is that besides the network sign and other things that got removed because they don't make sense on the WiFi rom, there's still a "Download booster" option in Settings (which requires LTE) and the Messages app, which also doesn't work on SM-T800 - I think it's also tied with the Contacts app so it's not as simple as just removing it.
Besides that, thank you so much for this port! Even if there are no big changes and new features, it still feels good to have stock Marshmallow, after waiting so much time for it. But tbh I'm just waiting for an AOSP Nougat ROM so I can enjoy decent Android with split screen.

Just flash supersu with twrp.
Regarding the other stuff you mentioned.
It would be a waste of my time to do a full port of the rom by removing everything T805 related when the official rom will be out soon enough.
This is just so everyone can test it out.

Just installed ROM and it took over 10 mins to boot up first time.
I'm a new to this but i got it to twrp and selected install and selected the ROM and flashed it. The Tab S wont do anything, it been stuck in the black screen mode. Its been like 20 mins. I tried to repeat the same steps and I'm stuck here again. Help please?

Did you actually reboot?
You may need to wipe dalvik cache. If that doesn't work the DATA partition itself.

How did you ported the rom, it works the same process for Lineage OS? I forget it, thanks for the CM14.1 ROM, I've been waiting a long time.

Son, if I understood well, you've written/copied some code without any test? That's a big risk for all of us. We can brick our tab...
