I read in this main thread:

Basically, it should work on any phone which with a ROM based on Android 4.0 or later...

Does this mean that the latest version on this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
Still works with android 4.4.4?
I am referring to the link within this text:
1. Download the Xposed Installer APK and install it

I am just double checking this because android 4.4.4 is old and things might have changed regarding support on 4.4.4.
Also I could not find a main thread where questions like these could be aksed, so I created a topic.
My apologies If I missed the appropriate location for questions like these.

That last link you posted is the most up to date for 4.4.4 you can get. Which device do you have that it can't get at least 5?

Thank you for your feedback.
I have a CUBE T7:

Unfortunately cube does not provide an update to lollipop or marshmallow.

He already does. I have also read that he had created a build for x86 devices. However that build is now outdated.

I did test before posting this thread. And it worked. Secondly, out of the 106 download (as of this moment) I have not recieved any negative feedback. Albeit I haven't received positive either. Honestly, after creating this tool I have used it a couple of times.
Hi ladies and gents. Am interested to know if anyone is using Amplify specifically to control wakelocks from system apps. If so which and what settings are you using?
edit: Just to be clear, let's leave aside all the obvious candidates (Xperia with facebook, Lounge, Update service etc..) which I imagine most of us have already uninstalled or frozen

What firmware are you on? I'm on the latest stock .726 LP with rooted LB and Amplify doesn't even work for me.

Yeah, Amplify was working perfectly for me on KK too, but supposedly the latest version is LP compatible.....just not for me, I guess.
Anybody been able to get it to work?

My T705 (5.0.2) reboots at 52% (sometimes at 32%) with no root.
Anyone with more luck than me?

I also tried with 4.4.2 but it didn't work (it didn't show the blue botton to start)
I just used KingRoot 4.1 (download it here: http://www.kingroot.net/down) and I have root + Knox at 0 I'm running KitKat 4.4.2.

The first post yes, but not all 51 pages. I mentioned the alternative download link, as the one attached in the thread didn't work for me and the main site contains an updated version
It's done what I needed it for (allowed me to delete bloatware and freeze OS updates), so I am happy. I only mentioned my success, plus posted proof as others in this thread hadn't had success and thought it may help others.

Nope, you still didn't pay any attention to either the whole point of this thread or the actual link in the first post.
I already posted a link to the Official xda thread with the latest ENGLISH version which is 4.1 and what the link in the first post points to.

Yeah i perfectly understood that. The software I downloaded directly from their site was in English (as you can see from the image) and that's the only bit of software I needed to gain root and do what I needed to do. Yes there is another app installed as well that is in Chinese, but as that is only for conserving battery power, I didn't use it anyway.

I see we're going to go round in circles with this, so I'll leave it there.
I think it is best. I'm happy with the result I got and was just advising others who were unsuccessful that there was another option, as the one linked in that thread didn't work on my Tab S, but the different version on their site did. I didn't expect a whole discussion as to whether or not I could understand the English language or basic instructions.
ROOTING FAILED
I tried the android and the pc version on my T800 10.5" running kitkat v4.4.2 never flashed or rooted before, the pc version detected my T800, but the rooting failed, the same as the android version.
So it was a big waste of time for me.
John.

Did it give up right away saying no strategy or fail after trying? If it gave up without trying, just try again later.
Don't use PC version coz it will try to Flash custom recovery.

Kingroot relies on cloud to find root solution. Giving up right away means connection is not properly established. Make sure your WiFi is on, and not restricted(e.g. company network), then try again.

If you try to many times it blocks any more tries with that version. Whatever version you're using try another version. If it's 4.1 use v4 then try 4.1 again if that doesn't work.
Hi
Just curious if official 5.0.2 xposed support arm64, as I just got a Lenovo Tab 2 a10, but no forum on here for it, so hard to find good information about it.
Thanks in advance

Where did you find it out? That should tell you more info about the link. Also, Nethunter is available as a Marshmallow image for a while now.

They are not the same. The ones you posted seem to be only kernels and not the firmware(ROM) itself. You can flash the firmware from the link I posted and then try to flash the newer kernel you posted on top of that.

Just use the build script, nethunter works nicely on nougat, even tho I had some issues with installation, but in the end works fine.
