Bluetooth Headphone - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a pair of bluetooth earphones and media audio works fine on my T810 with stock MM. But I also have a bluetooth headset with mic and it will only work with the phone and the T810 doesn't even have a phone.
edit: Solved the problem by installing BTmono from Play Store.

[Q] Multiple Bluetooth headsets?

I am trying to avoid re-pairing my bluetooth headsets when I switch them.
My original bluetooth setup includes a hands-free hook-up to my Prius, and a stereo BT headset (with mic). I have recently been trying different earpiece headsets for traveling.
I had no problem alternating with my stereo headset and my car, but when I try an earpiece it asks for a pairing code. When I pair with it it works fine, but when I switch back to the stereo headset I have to re-pair it.
It sounds like there is some limitation on how many BT devices the Captivate can remember?
FWIW I am running JH7 rooted.
Any thoughts on this?

[Q] Bluetooth Headset issue with CM10.1

I am using the latest release (07/19).
Facing an issue with bluetooth headset which was present in earlier versions as well but never found a solution to it, so posting it again. I have tried this with three different bluetooth headsets so i am pretty sure its not a model specific issue. the models i tried with are BlueAnt Z9i, Samsung WEP470 and Jabra Extreme.
In nutshell, bluetooth headset does not work. Here are the details:
1. Pairing with Nook HD+ is flawless. Nook shows connected.
2. MP3 player: does not play sound in bluetooth headset. it just plays using speaker.
3. Default Sound recorder app: does not record when device is connected. even the internal mic stops working. (so, i assume some kind of a connection is being made with the bluetooth but Mic output from bluetooth is not recorded)
4. Google hangout: When device is connected, no audio comes from external speakers nor bluetooth earphone. Internal mic and bluetooth mic both stop working. Similar is the case with Skype.
Any one else has bluetooth headset that works with Nook? Please list out your models.
I have the same problem with CM10.1 installed on Nook HD+
Any solution?

No sound in bluetooth headphones - calls working

I recently bought Bose SoundLink on ear bluetooth headphones. I had a Rapoo s100 before, and it paired and played music fine. The new headphones work too, they pair and I can make calls, but as of today I cannot hear any music. Calls still work. It happened twice before and a reboot managed to fix it, but I now I even cleared the cache partition and still nothing. The speakers work fine and the headphones work when connected with cable. Is it a hardware issue? Did I miss anything? Also, I don't have root and I tried both stock music player and Google play music.
Any help would be appreciated
EDIT: nvm' problem solved

Huawei P20pro - Bose headset not working

Hi,
My Bose headset connects normally via Bluetooth but doesn't play any sound. They are up to date according to the Bose app.
Anyone else having similar issues?
Dunno if it is due to Dolby Atmos, I cannot disable it.
Any help would he appreciated!
No, all fine here
Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
All fine here as well with and without dolby atmos
Dolby doesn't work on Bluetooth if I remember it correctly
I've had a different issue. The Bose connect app seems to crash or lose its connection very often, meaning it takes a while to load often when I open it. Has anyone else found this?
Also, is there any easy way to toggle noise cancellation without going into the Bose app?
This device seems to be finicky with headsets.... I have the Libratone USB C headset, and while the phone will play music over it fine, it will not route calls to it. Very frustrating!
I found it impossible to pair the phone and Bose headphones until I'd updated the headphones over USB with the Bose Updater. May be worth a try

Pie upgrade - Wifi causes choppy bluetooth audio?

I've just bought the Play - and it auto-upgraded during setup so I'm now on Android Pie.
I have noticed that bluetooth audio "stops" and restarts - with audible glitches every 30 seconds or so if Wifi is enabled. If I disable Wifi then the audio is perfect (well - not glitchy)
Data source is downloaded (audio book) so it isn't a streaming issue.
Also - if I stream Netflix and use the phone speaker - all works fine. If I stream Netflix and have bluetooth headphones on - I get buffering.
Anyone else noticed this / got a work around for this problem?
I just tested this with my Honor Play running Android Pie. With bluetooth headphones along with WiFi, there were no skips or glitches with the audio. Might be an issue with your headset or something.
I use Netflix with JBL BT speaker or Bluedio T4 BT headphones. Works perfectly.
Thanks for the responses. Odd that I didn't get this issue with this headset and my previous phone (Galaxy S7). Thanks for confirming it is isn't a problem with Android 9.
What type of headphones do you use? Which manufacturer?
