Hello,
my Pioneer is AA ready. So i bought a new p8 lite and tried to connect it. After if openend the AA App, it stated "incompatible Smartphone".
I thin the p8 lite has enough of memory and cpu rate, to work with AA. Is there an workaround or something else?
I also read on many forums, that the P8 lite will work with AA.
Since yesterday it got A6.0
Kindly
Have the same problem.
Have you found a solution?
I have the same phone and the same problem but before the update, the App work
(I'm a French man)
How do you get the AA to work? Its not supported in our countrys yet? I downloaded the arm64 apk and getting "incompatible Smartphone".
having same problem? you got it fixed? i think it's cause of the playstore version

So I just got my new Huawei P10. Installed all of my usual rubbish, then installed a network speed test app. Ran a test while in the same room as the router, connected to my 5Ghz (AC) WiFi (I'm on Virgin UK 200mbps). Maximum 31mbps download. Obviously concerned by this I turned off my WiFi, then turned it back on. Same again, maximum 31mbps download. I then switched to 2.4Ghz to try this. Maximum 7mbps download. I started to realise something wasn't right here. I got my old Moto E 2nd Gen, downloaded the same network speed test app and ran it. Obviously the Moto E 2nd Gen can only connect to 2.4Ghz WiFi. Maximum 40mbps download, about right for an old device like that.
I then performed a hard reset of my Huawei P10, didn't install anything at all except for the network speed test app, and ran it again using both the 5Ghz (AC) and 2.4Ghz. The results were the same, 31mbps maximum download on 5Ghz (AC) and 7mbps download on 2.4Ghz. I've tried restoring the router to factory defaults, I even tested in my brothers home (300mbps Virgin UK) and my daughters home (76mbps PlusNet), and the results were the same. I have no issues with any other devices in my home, just the P10. I'm on EE UK with 60mbps 4G, and running the speed test while connected to 4G gives me the full 60mbps. I've tried several different speed test apps, and the results are always the same.
Clearly there's something not right when the WiFi on an old Motorola out-performs a spanking new Huawei P10. I thought I would check here for solutions first before yelling and screaming at Carphone Warehouse. Any advise would be appreciated, thanks.

P10 slow wifi
Hiya I'm in the same boat. Struggling to reach 30mbps on my new p10 where my iPhone 5 can reach 70+mbps on same network. I'm also struggling to find any answers online. So did you manage to find a solution?
Just tested my P10. I'm on 400/20 Unitymedia in Germany.
Router is in the next Room.
What's your Firmware?
Issue Resolved
Well it's fixed, no thanks to Huawei. It turns out I was several firmware versions behind. I assumed I was on the latest stable firmware version because neither the System Update or HiCare apps were offering an update. It was only after installing the FirmwareFinder that I was able to update from B133 to B175. This is a SIM Free device, surely B175 should have been offered OTA?
Cool! I'm glad you've got it fixed!

How did you manage to get B175? I got the same EE device as you and FF offers me nothing. Still on B171.

I believe B175 is for SIM Free devices only. I have a friend who has an EE branded P10, and he's also only on B171. This is because B171 is the latest version made available by EE. Now looking forward to Oreo and all the problems that may bring :good:
How did you get the patch to install after Downloading it please?
I have the P10 since 2018 and run now on the official Android 9.1.0. The phone olway connect only to 45 Mbps on my 5 Ghz band. Dowvnloads seams not to be affected but uploade speed never get over the 45 Mbps limit. Other devices on the network dont have any speed problems. I noticed this behavior since the Android 9 update and I thinks Huawei intentionaly limits the wifi speed to make you think your device is outdated and make you by another, something like they did with the OIS stablilizer.

I 'm on BLA-L29 too, and it's not working. Works perfectly with a Note so it's defenately the phone that messes up.
I have no in call screen on my head unit and with every reboot I have to wipe all data of AA to make it kinda work.
Using stock cable btw.

You're lucky
Just trying to narrow this issue down
What's your build? Here I have 8.0.0.29 (C432) in Belgium.
Very weird that some units have it, others don't.

8.0.0.128 c636
Huawei P10 with Oreo Beta from Spain.
Incoming call and media not working.
Call screen not working on Honor 7x, reverts to using the built in dialer .
Edit: Waze doesn't work either.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro here (BLA-L229 8.0.0.128(C636)), not working with AA as well. Sometimes I am able to see the time and temperature in the top right corner. Otherwise everything is black. After disconnecting the phone, the screen stays blank until I turn off the car.
The same in-dashboard screen works perfectly with a Samsung Galaxy S7 and an iPhone 6s (CarPlay). Tried different cables (original too) and tried reinstalling AA, but no luck.
Car is a North American Chevrolet Cruze 2016.
Mate 9 (Nougat and Oreo) AA working fine MINUS CALL SCREEEN, with Pioneer Z5050BT, although Waze was wonky from the start (Nov-Dec '17). With AA 3.0, everything seems quite stable on Mate9.
P10+ Nougat freezes often despite having the same setup. Funny cause they are using similar hardware.
Honor View 10 does not work with 2017 Seat Leon with Full Link
Only black screen. I can hear Spotify and G assistant - any chance that Huawei/Honor will fix that?
Android auto aka AA, works with Huawei p10, 02/27-2018
Greatings from Denmark!!
Just installed AA on my p10 today, so it works now. I installed it from apkmirror the newest version.
If AA is not avaliable in your country, then use a vpn(set to Germany) . That's what I did since AA is not avaliable in Denmark. After setup and testing AA Uninstall vpn and you are all golden!!!!!
I got this working on a seat Ibiza 2016 1,0 tsi orginal multimedia radio.
My Honor 6x keeps giving me the message "to use android auto please park your car and check your android phone" Nothing works and I keep getting the standard USB port message asking me to hwether I want to use just for charging or MTP . But my choice always defaults to charging and AA does not work. AA loads on the phone but nothing on my Pioneer 5090BT HU. I am on EMUI 5.0. BLN-L22C65B340. Please help.
P9 Lite here and all seems to work well. never had a problem with my new car (AA 3.0)
Edit: all work on stock apps. If i try to install something like waze or others it freeze for 2/3 sec then it give me black screen and i have to disconnect the phone.
honor view 10 with opel intellilink 4.0
honor view 10 with opel intellilink 4.0, black screen with original cable and others. a disaster
Hi!
So I've tried searching but cannot find the answer (or similar topics). Perhaps I'm all alone, or just need to improve my search skills.
Anyhow, I've had this issue a long time (last two updates at least): When I open an app that requires fingerprint authentification, a lot of times, it opens the previous app that I opened with fingerprint authentification, instead of the intended one.
Does anyone else have this issue, and if so, a solution? It's beginning to drive me CRAZY, and I'm getting worried as it seems there will be no more updates for this device (rumours about Oreo has been out but Huawei has confirmed on Facebook that they have no plan on that update for my phone as of now).
Model: EVA-L09C432B395
EMUI: 5.0.1
ANDROID VERSION: 7.0
Actually I've been encountering this as well... I got another phone with EMUI 8.0 (Nova 2 Lite) and the same issue still persists. I think this lies to EMUI itself.
Hi I just update my P20 Pro to EMUI 9.0.0.178 and my GPS stops working, everytime I use Google Map it says "searching for GPS" and leaves me a grey dot. It's becoming a headache since I heavily rely on it for driving. Does anyone have the same problem with their phone? I tried restarting it, toggling location, reloading the app, still the same problem.
please help.
i have same problem
Mines was jumping all over the place today. Is there a way to calibrate the compass?
I try to restart the phone everytime this problem shows up, and it seems to solve the problem. But it's annoying knowing I have to restart it everytime to make it work...
My wife and I have the same problem since the update. It looks like the GPS lag to update the position. Rebooting seems to solve the problem temporarily... But I don't want to have to reboot every other day.
Same problem here. Has anyone gotten a solution or has it started working again by itself?
Has anyone tried refreshing the a-gps data? Might help, I use gps test plus.

Same issue here. Rebooting brings things back but that's not a solution. I'm on 9.0.0.178 with the CLT-L04 in Toronto.
going to check this soon.
No problem with GPS on my Pro.
9.0.0.163
OTG Update with full wipe
I have the same issue but only with google maps. Waze and other GPS functions work fine. I usually reboot and it works for a few hours.
Huawei acknowledged a problem
It's my first time posting here, as it's the first major problem I've had with my P20 Pro over the past year. I started experiencing GPS problems after the last software update. Like others reported, they'd go away after reboot but not for long. I tried a factory reset, which doesn't seem to have helped either.
I contacted Huawei support in Canada via their website. I got a response today which first suggested I try wiping the cache partition (restart my phone, hold down the volume-up button, then you get to an EMUI maintenance screen with this option - this also didn't help any more than restarting). But it also acknowledged that there is a known issue that they are working on fixing in the next update. I quote:
" In case the issue persists, we would like to inform you that this is related to the new software update, however, Huawei is currently working to solve it. This issue will be optimized in the new version, this one is expected to be released in March. You will automatically receive this update that will solve this issue your phone is facing."
I thought you all might like to know this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
I just updated to the 9.0.0.236 version available through FirmwareFinder and rooted as well. GPS is working normally again!
Greatings Bastian
There's an issue with the latest pie ( android 9.0) and the P20 Pro that bugs the gps out, you have to restart your phone every times you want to use your gps. There should be a patch around March 21st 2019. In the meantime if you want, you can always factory reset, which would solve the issue, and wait before reinstalling the latest firware
Any news about that issue ? I have the model CLT-L29 C636E2R1P12 with Android 9.0.0.234 and it's not working the gps....
I have the 213 update for my L04 and it now works great! If you have the Canadian model, check for the update! It didn't work with the 178, now it does!
Im also experiencing gps problem CLT-L29(C636) 9.0.0.234
i thought that i had the same issue but finally i found out that the problem was the new phone-case i put which has metal parts and blocks the gps signal. After remove the case gps works as it should.
Mine doing same. Always searching for gps. How did u fix it?
Same here. At first I thought it's EMUI, but the GPS was still broken after flashing lineage... Any chance that the gps will work again if I roll back to EMUI 8.1?
Hello, I bought a galaxy watch 4 I have an oppo find x3 pro chinese version, and when I try to synchronize the devices, I get an error that the smartphone is not compatible with the watch. I have tried all the solutions that I have read (example Huawei method)
Has anyone had the same problem? Your help please.
have you found a solution? I'm also thinking about buying the galaxy watch.
The same thing here, I factory reseted both but still not working
Same here. Frustrating as I really want to make the FindX3 Pro my daily driver again. It's that Watch4 plug-in that takes it down. Maybe the next update of Color OS12 will bring a fix.
