Hi guys...
I'm a virgin with my new Galaxy S, but love the phone I recently purchased! I recently opened the factory application My Files which contains several folders (svox, z7logs, DCIM, Android, etc). Can someone please elaborate on these folders...
Are they safe to delete? Is there a requirement to keep these folders within the application? Thanks!
if you dont know what you are doing i'd advise against deleting something. It will most probably delete something that you have a personal affection to (eg pictures/music/videos) rather than messing up the device.
explore around the application is very sandboxed and cant do much harm.
Ok, thanks! I'll search for a tutorial or user-guide for the applications.
Is there any method s to overcome this problem?
You need to include more information, such as whether you're using the stock (original) ROM or not, have rooted the phone, etc. Then membersah be more likely to contribute and offer specific suggestions as to what you can do to solve the problem.
All I could say to respond to your original post right now is that you could have too many apps and processes running. Go to Settingsā¤Apps<running and see if you have a long list of apps and services under this. If so...there's your problem. Stop/cancel some of these and see if the phone runs easier.
Also, for future reference, there is a Help Thread in the forum for these kinds of things. You can find a solution or post about your problem in there.

I'm not sure what do you mean at all, but I'm guessing you want to use external storage for apps. Use link2sd for that.

First of all please do not spam and post useless information about how you also have memory leak and asking how to fix it. Post only useful stuff, like logcat and such stuff which can help google developers solve this annoying bug.

- For users which seem not to have this issue please Download Farm Heroes Saga from play store. Run it until game loads, then remove it from multitasking menu completely and then run game until it loads, remove it from multitasking menu again and do that about 10-15 times. If your ram doesn't go up to 900 and higher please post logcat if you know how to and also screenshot of default memory and cached memory.
Have you tried that URL? It doesn't work.

I'm trying to add an app to be exempted from cache clearing because it deletes my data when I try to clear cache using the cleaner. Problem is, there is no button to add exceptions.
Edit: for some reason, the video won't be uploaded.
Here's my reddit post containing video for context. I tried asking there but the answers didn't help.

I use SD Maid pro... gets stuff others miss and never has caused critical data lose or file damage.
