Hi,
I was on Radium Redefined ROM for several months had no problem , was on Stock before , no problems there too.
Recently i switched to Cm13 official , my phone hangs/lags for 1-2 secs after every 5-10 mins. There is no fixed interval .
Notes:
1) I have tried factory resetting the device.
2) I have tried going back to Radium Redefined. Same problem.
3) I have tried this with no additional apps installed still same.
4) I have tried all sorts of wiping , removing sd card , completely formatting the phone , HAVE NOT INSTALLED ANY CUSTOM KERNEL SINCE I BOUGHT the phone too.
5) Please help me , it doesn't matter which app i'm using. Messaging, whatsapp , games or just opening menu or pressing home button. The phone hangs.
I'm too using cm13 bt my device doesn't even lag a sec...!!

Yes , neither cm13 nor Radium Redefined comes with gapps. But i downloaded from http://opengapps.org/?api=6.0&variant=nano , with ARM - Android 6.0 - Nano selected.

Thanks anyway,
Fixed the issue by Flashing Stock Firmware. Nothing was working and i was fed up with the lags. ( Didn't try pico solution though). Thanks a lot anyway. Next time if i make up my mind to switch to custom ROM will flash pico gapps.

Have build 2 included fixes (SuperSU, seteonforce, data, etc.) ?
What should I do to use this ROM a daily driver (after flash rom, reboot, flash gapps) ?
Same question #4363467346
Hello guys, newbie question (not really, but okay)
So, I saw that this rom needs 4.4.x, so I installed XperianZe (The 4.4.4 version), after that I installed build #2, when the phone booted up, I turned off the adaptive brightness, after that, everything is going smooth.
BUT, Wifi (surprised, because dev said it's working), gsm data and voice not working, any suggestion?
I flashed This fix, but it's not working

No problem... it's normal android L interface.
Hi
I've tried in a lot of different ways, but the ROM doesn't work. After the first boot i'v enough time to set off the autobrightness option, but then the phone starts to reboots in loop anyway. before I had XperianZ3 4.4.4 KitKat, I've tried to flash the ROM normally, and I've tried to do a dirty flash. I've tried to install before the first build of the ROM over the second (normal flash and dirty flash) and viceversa(normal flash and dirty flash). The result is the same in all the cases. What should I do?
Hello guys, I flashed this build 2 and dont update.
Why? I put ramdisk, and I wipe cache and davilk
@Furrydaus you said that random reboot is fix but i have reboot when i enable autobrightness !

If you expect that the new build was based on 5.0.3 you will need wait, sources to that version of android is not taken

Try flashing stock and flashing from there. Possibly has to do with the Kernel not being stock.

I use PA Gapps pico modular proper DPI version. Works like a charm. I prefer this small package while than I can install other apps (like gmail, hangouts) from store as user apps, not system apps.

sorry, flyme 6 was stopped, no backup or mirrors.
As previously mentioned I have copied this thread to Android software development, so more people can learn about it. I have also moved my files and will now be uploading to Android File Host without mirrors, since they is a waste of time, AFH works great.
You can find the new thread here and subscribe to it:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/gapps-opengapps-oreo-unofficial-t3681960
I will not be updating this thread anymore so you won't miss anything. Please also post comments there since I won't be active here that much.
Another new thing is that I will be updating packages every two days, since firstly I don't have that much time available, but mostly because the apps itself don't get updated every day which means you are basically flashing the same apps twice.
That's about it, hope you join us on the other thread

Yes, that's the best option. But let's say you have installed the pico package and now you want gmail as a system app. You can now dirty flash the micro package which will remove and replace all the installed apps and also install gmail and other apps from the micro package as system apps.

No, they're pretty much always the same, probably hidden somewhere in the pico package so if there was an update it would be installed anyway. The only other apps not available in the playstore would be Google Camera, Pixel Launcher and Pixel Icons (maybe others too).

This happens on some roms, it's probably not the gapps's fault. After flashing remove the sim tray. Finish the setup and insert it again. DON'T insert it when it asks you to or it will force close again.
Since you've already flashed just remove the sim tray and reboot again.
Thank u

If you can live without Gapps, then go for a nougat rom like ViperOS. No lags there but with Gapps device overheats.
BTW about the lags, that was a general question or you were talking about this particular Rom?
If it's the Rom's fault, then you should contact the developer.
But If you are facing lags cuz of tons of apps that you have installed, then all you needed is an autostart manager like MIUI has in inbuilt security app.
