[Q] P7 Dual Sim Version

I had 2 versions of P7 , The First is P7-L10 middle east version single sim and the second one is P7-L00 Chinese version dual sim , I was really impressed by the single sim one then i decided to buy the dual sim one.
The 2 bugs i found till now in the Chinese version are the following :
The front camera brightness option in dark area is not working despite that the option is on , in the P7-L10 if u take selfie in dark area the screen flashs white background to brightness the photo but in the P7-L00 this feature is not working at all even the option is on also the image editor is totally different between the two versions ,though i bought P7 for the front camera .
There is no option for the dual sim in networks to choose( wcdma only) or 3g network only , while i bought the dual sim to make sim for voice calls and the other for data .
Anyone had any idea or solution about the above-mentioned ?
SIM 1: Micro-SIM (4G, 3G, 2G)
SIM 2: Nano-SIM (2G) or Micro-SD
Is your voice-SIM the nano-SIM?

Yes exactly but there is no option in sim 1 for wscdma only , the option are 4g/3g/2g auto or 2g only, this make data on edge network most of time, I want to force it to wscdma only as any mobile!!!

You can try the free app "3G Data Only!", but i think there is no wcdma available.

4g = lte
3g = wcdma/hspa/hspa+
2g = gprs

Thanks for your support but unfortunately it doesn't work still sim 1 give gprs signal even the application is active
Have you pushed the widget to disable 2G?
Yes sure I push it and enable it but it still work on edge or gprs network
If I enable 3G only, then I have no data, if 3G is not available.

switching to 3g problem

I am having problem in turing on 3G on my Moto g2. Im on AOSP MM ROM with open gapps pico installed. i cannot switch to 3g as preffered network neither can i change to WCDMA preffered from network app thus im getting only "e" or edge network on my mobile despite having a 3G data pack and having my network sim in 1 slot. Not only on this ROM but even other CM13 roms . can someone help pls?
I also ran into issues after I switching to 2G. Cannot get it back to 3G.
I had to take the Sim out reinsert it back and select 3G.

Apparent Data interference using 2 LTE sim cards

I have a dual sim Note5 locked with smart (but suprisingly, it is not really factory locked. I was told that I should place smart on sim1, but i tried just placing globe on sim2 and it still works even without a smart sim). I know that you can only use one (1) LTE sim, so globe is set to automatic, meaning it will be in GSM mode, since Smart is in LTE. Anyway, both sims are set to AUTO (LTE/WCDMA/GSM) mode.
Note that Smart sim1 is in LTE Band 1 2100 and globe sim2 is in LTE Band 3 1800. Both sims are LTE capable, and with existing LTE data plans.
Any way, here is the issue:
I noticed that i could not get a data connection using my smart sim everytime my globe sim is present.
Thus, if I have two sims inserted (smart LTE sim in sim1 and globe LTE sim in sim2, both set to AUTO LTE/WCDMA/GSM), LTE data access on smart (sim1) would work for maybe a minute or two, and afterwards, it would no longer connect to LTE. Even if the phone displays a 4G connection, it does not really connect (after a minute, no LTE connection). Because of no data connection, I would try using my Globe LTE sim (smart on sim1 becomes GSM), and surfing in LTE appears to be continuous, unlike with smart (using LTE in sim1).
When i switch back to surfing using smart LTE (Globe becomes GSM), i can again surf using smart LTE for a minute or less than 2, but eventually it will disconnect. Even if the phone says 4G, i cant connect to the internet.
Today, i removed the globe sim, and it seems that i can already surf with smart LTE, without disconnection of LTE data. I noticed that i can now use LTE continuously (using sim1) after physically removing the Globe LTE sim card.
My question is, is there some form of signal interference between two (2) sim cards, that prevents me from using two (2) LTE sims (both are set to AUTO LTE/WCDMA/GSM, and LTE is in sim1, GSM in sim2) at the same time?
Does the presence of two (2) LTE sims (although one is in GSM mode) affect the LTE data connection?
This is really a strange issue and hope anyone has already encountered this.

Data Connection Switching Leaves One Sim With No Service

The problem im facing with my Xiaomi Mi5 is that whenever i switch the data connection from Sim 1(Jio 4G) to Sim 2(Airtel), sim 1 loses the signal and remains unavailable for calls both incoming and outgoing. I tried to change the preferred network type and swapped the sim slots but nothing seems to work. If you guys can help plz do so.
Note: Sim 1(Jio 4G) is 4G only network it doesn't work on GSM or WCDMA.
the non-data line only does 3g, or 2g if 3g isn't available..

I'm also facing the exact same problem!!
But I think it is operator-specific because Jio 4G does not support 2G/3G networks but only 4G LTE. However, Airtel 4G on the other hand switches to 2G/3G networks when not using data services.

Thats what I thought until I checked it on Asus Zenphone 2 it works perfectly fine with other sim on 3G and Jio on 4G.
When I'm using data on 4G on Mi5, the other sim gets 3G network but fluctuates very much and if you change it to 2G only, it will automatically get back to 3G network.

In Settings / Wireless & Networks / Dual SIM, see that only one SIM (you can choose which) can be 3G/4G
Hence one SIM will be on 3G or 4G, second SIM must be on 2G - but if your operator for that second SIM does not provide 2G you will not be able to use that SIM
In Settings / Wireless & Networks you can disable 4G and in Preferred Network type you can force GSM (2G) only - that way you can test which of the two SIM cards / operators provide/have 2G signal

In Dual SIM Settings you choose one which is 4G, the other will be 2G/3G
Cannot help you more, I have both SIMs 2G/3G/4G, hence no matter how I set, both work
Try playing yourself, test both SIMs one by one only, in one and the other slot, with various settings (4G enabled/disabled, Pref net 4G, 3G, 2G only)
Maybe you have problem with one of the SIM cards or one slot
