Put the previously downloaded xxx-signed.zip file on your external sd card
Boot into stock recovery (volume up+home+power)
Select "apply update from external storage".
Now select the xxx-signed.zip file you copied in previous step
You are rooted + new PhilZ-cwm6 kernel with CWM6

sir, i don't about it cos i purchased it from unknown person, that's all info i got for my phone. plss help and it's korean set which i m using in india, moreover i cannot enter into recovery mode by pressing volume up+home+power button. when i do that the phone restart and and back to its original state. and one important thing that it shows superuser but when i open it or try anything wid it says superuser has denied permission, i don't know that my phone is rooted or not, plss help how can i root my phone.
i m running on android jelly bean 4.1.2 multi window

Go to supersu settings and check for default access. Set it to prompt. If its a korean set, install Quadrant Standard from the play store and check for system information. Check whats the CPU is.

I am running the latest custom ROM nightowl lineage 14.1 20180824 on my GT N7000. I would like to know how I can load the M5 file into the PDA so I can repartition my storage. I keep running outa space due to installed third party apps.
I have Odin, the latest samsung drivers installed on my PC and a copy of my custom ROM on my PC.
What else do I need and how do I load the requisite files in order to re-partition?

It's still 4.1.2 but perhaps with some bug fixes and improvements. Maybe with QSlide, who knows?
A version upgrade would be named 30X.

I did exchange a few messages with LG's open source devs, and they said (a few weeks back) that there is no updated planned in the nearest future, what they did not confirm is the fact that there going to be NO updates for the 4X HD. So this might as well be an actual update on the way.

Pretty much the same thing, I asked them about Qslide and that's what they said "To our regret, we have been reported that a software update for Optimus 4x HD with the features that you mentioned is not likely to be released in near future."
But then again they never said - NEVER. So yeah.

You must encode this link, than use special page + allow code to get very slow download (max 200kb/s and very unstable) and link works for about 120 seconds.
I've downloaded this firmware to 75% than reconnect and I must download from 0%. Downloaded 100% and now uploading. I can't test it cause I don't have LGP880.

its because you installed NOKIA XL rom on NOKIA X2.
you cannot get it work in this condition.
download NOKIA X2 ROM and FLASH
everything will be alright.
