Hello Everybody,
I have old enough printer HP LaserJet 1010. It works fine with my notebook, but sometime I need to print documents from my smartphone when my notebook is not accessable.
I've tried this. I've connected my smartphone with printer via USB-OTG cable. I have installed and started the printing application. The application has determined the printer model and the serial number correctly. I've started printing. The application has said: "Processing" and then "Completed", but the printer hasn't done anything.
My smartphone is Sony Xperia V. It has stock firmware with OS Android 4.3. Also, I had installed unofficial firmwares with Android 4.4.4 (neo-4.4.4-tsubasa) and with Android 6.0 (cm-13.0-20160814-UNOFFICIAL-tsubasa). I had the same issue with those firmwares too.
As the printing application I have used:
PrintHammermill
PrintHand
StarPrint
PrinterShare
All of these application produce the same issue as described above
I've tried to switch driver used by the printing application (PrintHammermill). I have used:
HP Laserjet 1010
HP Laserjet 1010 (hplip)
HP Laserjet 1010 (gutenprint)
HP Laserjet 1012 (hplip)
HP Laserjet 1012 (gutenprint)
HP Laserjet 1018
HP Laserjet 1020
HP Laserjet 1022n
HP Laserjet 1020nw
hp**series
Generic PCL 5 Printer
HP Laserjet 3050 (hplip)
HP Laserjet 3050 (gutenprint)
HP Laserjet 1005 Series
This hasn't helped too.
Is there any solution to allow me to print documents from my smartphone via USB connection?
Thanks!

Solved: Activesync over Bluetooth with Toshiba BT stack (all Toshiba & Dell laptops)
I wanted to setup Activesync over bluetooth with my Dell laptop but could not figure out how to do it. Until I came across this excellent set of tutorials http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=howto that describe the whole process and much more. The one relevant for Diamond is here: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetoot...a_Bluetooth_TOSHIBA-PC---Windows-Mobile-6.zip
I am using Toshiba bluetooth stack, which is definitively one of the best. And to make it even sweeter- not too many people know it- it works with many Dell laptops and perhaps even all? with a built in BT module (350,355,360). Toshiba and Dell struck license deal a while ago that makes Dell internal BT devices licensed under their own BT stack.
You can download it here: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download
THANK YOU!
This has bugged me for a while until I found your posting.
Hi guys,
I bought a XDA IIi second hand to use with my telescope via a program called Astromist. So i bought a USB to RS232 converter and a XDAIIi serial cable, downloaded WMDC but i cant get them to connect.
I've also tried on my XP laptop with activesync 4.5 but no different. In device manager the COM4 is available and ive made sure that the baud rate is 115200 as the XDA is. Data bits 8 parity none stop bits 1 flow control none.
Ive tried multiple configurations to no avail. The cable needs to be serial as there is a serial port on the decoder circuit on the telescope.
HELP???GUYS???
I read on WMDC a USB connection is required on first use. Can anyone point me to the USB driver?

hi all. is touchpad vga NVIDIA?
i want to install kubuntu active one on hp touchpad,
I seen a few posts where people have managed to sync their ps3 controller with the six axis controller app. For the live of me I tried a few builds of Android and none of them allow me to sync the controller to bluetooth. At this point for those who got it to work or use it frequently, what version of your rom are you using? Do you know any app that allows you to change bluetooth mac address on the android device or Touchpad Rom? Let me know because I have troubleshooting steps that I need to try that require me to change the bluetooth mac address on the hp touchpad but all the instructions I have found have not helped me because the folder structure described is not consistent with what is in my folder. I thank you ahead all of you ahead of time because I value your help, and I apologize if I have missed something during my extensive research.
HP TOUCHPAD
version of android: update-cm-10.1-20131121-SNAPSHOT-BLUETOOTH-tenderloin 4.2.2
Bluetooth turns on and it works just fine with this version.
All troubleshooting was done per dev website.
Tool was downloaded into PC, uploaded mac of hp touchpad and nothing.
Synced bluetooth devices already with no problem with this rom in the touchpad.
PS3 (sony branded) controller still not pairing.
If it works for you what version of the rom you have?
