Hellow guys. I have a problem. I have recently deleted some system apks(stock apps). Now i am unable to use my phone properly because a alert popups continuously , which is because i uninstalled stock dialer app. now i am unable to unlock bootloader too. So thats why I am asking can i flash my device without unlocking bootloader?

ZR is my very first Android phone, so basically I know nothing about Android.
I unlocked the bootloader couple of weeks ago following the official Sony instructions in order to flash the stock Taiwan ROM (cause China's ROM doesn't support Google service). But now I found that I cannot update via Sony. More importantly, it's actually not necessary to unlock the bootloader for flashing ROM and/or get root privilege. So I'm desperately seeking the way to relock the bootloader.
I found some guy talking about flashing a small file called Xperia_Relock_bootloader.ftf. But he said that it was only for old models. Anybody here can help? Thanks in advance!
P.S. They said that after unlocking the boot loader, Bravia Engine and TrackID service will gone. But I have both working still. Weird. Does that mean I can backup my TA partition still?
Hello,
I have successfully unlocked and relocked the bootloader before with flashtool and they worked fine, if I unlock the bootloader again could I relock it anytime in the future? (with flashtool) like 2 years time or something, also how long will cyanogenmod developers make cyanogemod? and will there always be a ftf file of the newest stock firmwares, for example if I was on 4.3 and 4.4 came out would there always be a ftf file available for people with unlocked bootloaders? I say this because you can't update after unlocking the bootloader because pc companion says the phone can't be updated because it has modified software on it.
Thank you
I think you already know the answer since you already did it once. cm has been around forever and it's too large of a developing community to stop.

As long as you have ta partition backup...
Do your device show “bootloader unclocked allowed:yes” after you relock it?
Howsit Guys
Need a lil help here. Im currently on firmware- 10.4.1.B.0.101 with [Root & XZDR] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2643898 <-- via this method.. all Works sweetly.. Problem is that i want to unlock my bootloader. Ive checked in the service menu, unlocked bootloader is allowed.
I am currently trying to unlock bootloader with latest version of Flashtools(unofficial way).whilst phone is on, i connect cable, startup flashtools, it detects device. Then i click on lightningbolt icon, to unlock bootloader. menu comes up asking to remove cable, power off phone n goto flashmode.
When i get to the part where it asks to select my device, i click on xperia z. And i get a FAIL message saying i cannot officially unlock bootloader?? Do i need to be on stock .244 firmware or stock kernal to unlock ? Or am i going through it the wrong way. main reason i want unlock bootloader to install cyanagen mod11 nightly.
Thnx
Done
Sorry for the silly post.. managed to unlock my bootloader..
Hey friends, I have a Sony Xperia Z device. First, i unlocked it's bootloader, then i re-locked it using the TA-partition backup. But now I want to RE-UNLOCK the bootloader to install the new Android 5.0 and I don't know how to do it. Do i need to do it in the normal way?

I have a rooted Xperia sp and I want to install custom roms but I'm unable to open recovery mode to install the rom from sdcard. Is this a common problem with sp users or it's only in my case and is there another way to install custom rom. Please help.
Rooted & bootloader unlocked ?
I don't know how to check whether the bootloader is unlocked or not. Can you suggest a way for that.
But when I dial *#*#7378423#*#* and go to service info-configuration it says Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes.
I guess it probably means it's still locked.
