When i started up my phone this morning it was in headset mode. I never used the headset. Impossible to disconnect. The headset icons stay on screen even after a couple of restarts. I can only use the phone when headset is plugged in. Can you please help me? Thanks

I had the same issue with other Win mobiles too. Maybe some issue with the windows to bluetooth?
I suspect so, but no one else has mentioned it in other posts
can anyone shed some light?
I don't have this issue at all, I am using Sony Stereo headsets right now.
The biggest issue for me right now is...after I finished using bluetooth, the phone will be muted until I soft reset. And this is relaly annoying!

No problems here pairing it with my car. Maybe a soft-reset can help?
Yea I'm having this issue with the Motorola i710 headset....only mine disconnects after about 4 minutes into a call....same other issues
I'm having problems too with Bluetooth headset/hands free... I'm using Dell BH200 headset which does stero wireless and hand free calling... When I dial numbers I can hear throught the headset, music plays fine through the headset, however it seems as soon as the phone connects/it goes into sleep it drops the headset and the small ear speaker in the handset works... Its annoying... I'm going to test with platronics hands free tomorrow...
Also, when I make a call, like a few seconds after it connects the phone's screen turns off... I thought it was only supposed to do this when you bring it up to your ear i.e. when light sensor in the ear speaker detects little light..?

I think I solved the problem with muting the phone after using bluetooth: using TF3d configuration tool I disabled the music tab. Now i use wm player for music and, during 1 day ,I had no problem - my phone is not going to mute anymore. Please try this method and post here the result. A lot of Diamond users have this problem and is few topics o the forum related to this.
Hey just wondering if I could get some help, I plugged my phone into the headset and since I've unplugged it am left with the headset icon displayed and am obviously unable to make calls using the phone due to it thinking the headset is plugged in. I have performed a hard reset with no joy. Any ideas?
I there are allot of topics about this, i believe most people were able to fix it by plugging the headset or earphones in and out a couple of times!

Did you try search?
After using a headset, the phone speaker for phonecalls won't work. I can use the loud speaker at the back of the phone, but not the ordinary speaker.
I got the speaker to work one time when taking the headset in and out of the phone (but not since, a week ago). Therefore I don't think the speaker is broken, but I'm not able to get it to work again.
Had the same problem on a Iphone (1.gen), but then I was able to get it to work again after pluging a headset in and out. Tried a lot of times with the SGS, but didn't help.
I tried to update the phone to JPX, didn't help
Just seams like the phone thinks the headset is plugged in even though it's not..
Any idea how to fix this?
When making calls there is button "Headset", try pushing that if it could help.
Thanks for answering. That button gives me the opertunity to connect a blutooth headset. Still no speaker sound..
Hi,
My loudspeaker stopped working yesterday. The alarm was on, then it didn't sound no more. Where can i find this part?? I've searched on internet but I only found the earspeaker. Are these two integrated on the same unit??
Thanks,
Kel
Did you restart the phone to make sure it wasn't a software issue?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium App
yes I've restarted it and take the battery out, but with no luck...
Might find it here. http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Samsung-Nexus-S-GT-i9020T-Parts-s/6657.htm
Did you happen to use a headphone before this happen? If that's the case, try to plug the headphone in, then pull it out again. Sometimes the input jack is short and make the phone thinks the headphone is still plugged in -- and just disable the sound from the speaker.
I've tried it but its dead... Thanks
When I plug my headset in, my phone starts glitching out like crazy. Voice commands, headset in and out start going off... Anyone had headset issues?
Thanks guys. I knew you would be helpful

I had this happen. It was a hardware problem. I had to get the phone replaced. I did a lot of running and listening to music, so I don't know if the jiggling around in my pocket with the headset plugged in caused it. I use bluetooth headphones when I run now. I still use the physical connection in my car and haven't had any problems on the new phone.
