How do I get to 20o from rooted stock 20i? - T-Mobile LG G4

Obviously I can't do it OTA, and all the ROMs that are 20o say you have to already be on it.
Solution?
Thanks

from 20i.. download KDZ LGUP use refurbished option. the do the same for root. and recovery. use adb commands to install twrp then install twrp image. then download flshable superUS zip. and your done. search for KDZ.

Will that work if I'm on 20i but on a aosp rom?

yes

[Q] VZW Dev Ed 4.4.2?

Is there a guide anywhere on how to install 4.4.2 on the Dev Ed phones?
Assume I can just use TWRP for root after updating?
Thanks!

Are you rooted now? If you are rooted, as long as you haven't changed any of the system files you can install the .zip through the stock recovery and you're good to go (you don't lose root).
If you aren't rooted, just install the .zip through the stock recovery and then flash TWRP recovery and root.
Assuming you have an unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP and rooted (but no other changes, no VZWentitlement hacks, delete/removing/renaming any apps from /system/app or /system/priv-app, no Xposed Installer and modules installed, etc...).
Download the 4.4.2 update .zip to your phone.
Flash the stock recovery back to your phone.
Boot to recovery and install the .zip you downloaded.
Done.
You'll need to find the .zip and download it.
You'll need to know how to flash the stock recovery back and have it downloaded so you can flash it
You'll need to know how to use the stock recovery (button combos to boot to recovery and enter recovery)

Thank you!
Ah, I had forgotten about having to use the stock recovery to flash. When I last updated, I dirty flashed a TWRP-able image. Might wait for someone to make one for maximum laziness
Edit the updater-script and remove the device check for ghost in the OTA zip that's posted. Then you can flash it in CWM or TWRP as long as /system is stock.

OTA info can be found in the FAQ sticky under Q7
and some more info here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52894276
as for stock recovery, the easiest (since you have the file already) is to extract from within the OTA.zip.... inside the OTA.zip is a "firmware.zip" inside that, you can find the stock recovery. (recovery.img)

Interesting.
Ok I can extract recovery.img and I can flash recovery.
But after that, can I install OTA update? (ROM is still stock, only Exposed module installed, and superSU)
All options on phone is unlocked (bootloader unlocked, s-off, rooted..)
And after that I can flash my old recovery TWP?
And I guess, I must install superSU again?

xposed will not allow the OTA to work, xposed changes stuff in the system partition
yes, you will likely loose root, but that (and twrp) can be easily reflashed

Can I use a KDZ file to flash back to stock?

I am currently running CyanogenMod 11 on my LG L90 D415, and I would like to go to stock Lollipop, but I don't have an SD Card on me to use recovery back to stock and then flash to stock Lollipop, but can I directly flash, say, 10e kdz and then go to the Lollipop kdz flash?
Yes you can. You can even flash Lollipop 20B kdz instead of KitKat 10E.
You will lose all your data, ROOT, and custom recovery.
If you have approximately 1GB of free memory on internal storage you can download FlashableSTOCK created by me and flash a clean stock Lollipop from your recovery. You will still have unlocked bootloader and custom recovery and you can obtain ROOT from TWRP. You will also need a Lollipop BOOTSTACK.
All the files you can find here:

Cannot flash Stock firmware after installing newest OTA

Hi! Some time ago I installed an official OTA, then I flashed some custom ROM for testing. Now I want to back to the Stock, but while I try to install the firmware with RSD Lite I get an error that some files cannot be downgraded or something. What I am doing wrong? How can I back to stock?
depends on what ROM you are trying to install. from what I have read, downgrading is a no-no (meaning that the bootloader changed).
that being said, have you tried to flash the FW via mfastboot?
did you make a nandroid of stock?
also, if you had Xposed on this custom ROM, sometimes flashing a different ROM without uninstalling Xposed can lead to problems.
Flash the stock rom with fastboot.
Or Try to flash Version 4.4.4 by from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/general/guide-unlock-sim-flash-retail-lollipop-t3236783
I have written all the steps with stock firmware also.
The same happened to me when I tried to install the OTA for my XT1058. I had to flash gpt.bin and fsg.mbn from the OTA zip and all the other components from the stock firmware zip file one by one. The only way it worked for me was using the option 5 in this guide by @KidJoe: http://mark.cdmaforums.com/MotoX-ReturnToStock.html
So, try to get the OTA zip for your phone, put gpt.bin and fsg.mbn with the files from the stock firmware and flash them one by one, following the steps from the guide to the letter.
After that phone booted normally and I had to download the OTA again because some parts of the update were missing since I had just flashed gpt.bin and fsg.mbn from it.

Sorry, I don't have it but you can use PC tool Huawei Update Extractor
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454
to extract stock partitions from the Huawei ZIP ROM installations
