Has anyone gotten this to work on their s5 mini? Ive had no success on my s4 mini or s5 mini. Su hide runs perfect and safetynet passes no problem but flashing v86.2 (either version) results in un-bootable device.
Thanks for any help
Edit: FWIW ive tried this on reserection Remix and Slim 6
No Problem
I used a Magisk Guide on getting it to work and it had a special Xposed app. Just search for Magical on XDA it's the official thread
After trying all the iterations of suhide and xposed frameworks I've still come short on a working combo. I've tried 86.1, 86.2, 86.5, 86.6 with suhide 52, 53, 54, 55 and 06suhide script. none want to live together on my phones. Ive gotten them to run with moving the 05suhide file during bootup and then moving it back but that only works once. both suhide and xposed work independently.
Just curious if anyone else is fighting this safetynet battle and winning lol

You've done the impossible! Thanks so much for all the work and sharing it!
Tried it on Euphoria 1.1 Beta 5.1, Bacon.
Glad to report it works, thank you sooo much :good:
Oneplus One.
Working well on the N6!
Proceed with caution guys! Already in bootloop city (totally prepared and exiting it now, expected as much) Just letting everyone know for those of you who are excited about this - this is NOT Xposed like you are used to, not yet as modules have not had any possible chance to catch up. If you are not ready for serious bootloops, stay away from this for now lol

How is it working well and causing bootloops? That seems to be a bit contradictory.

Framework isn't causing bootloops. but many modules it seems do as obviously none have updated to 5.1 given the nature of this release being super alpha as well as unofficial. The framework itself, the part romracer hs given us here, appears to be running well - just wanted to warn users who have been waiting (im)patiently on Xposed for 5.1 that you can't just jump back into modules.. bootloops on bootloops here experimenting

Makes sense. Might help others if you mentioned the modules causing problems as well.

I would specify but I've been bootlooping since this was released messing with File Manager in TWRP and then when I could get into boot looking at Xposed logs for fatal errors.. all I could see between bootloops is that Youtube AdAway causes fatal errors (not the one giving me bootloops though - I was able to uninistall before the bootlooping got to where I couldn't ever boot and had to restore). Also, I can confirm Always Correct! causes keyboard to FC non-stop and renders it unusable. I am not sure which module caused Play Store not to open and which caused bootloops, probably multiple. I thought I'd be able to spend more time booted and so I loaded a few modules after I took a backup and decided to mess with the Xposed logs and TWRP file manager like I mentioned, but bootloops were more than I anticipated so I just restored a backup and installed Framework for now.
Edit:Apparently 4/4 Banks gapps I updated with this cause Play Store FCs. My luck I'd upate extremely stable gapps, update SuperSU, backup, flash a super alpha and have issues with the gapps. Let's try this again...
Now it is time to test and embrace the bootloops!
Anyone found any modules working thus far, or will EVERYTHING need updaed to 5.1? I tried a module that still worked from KitKat when Xposed upgraded to Lollipop without upgrading bu it doesn't work now.. not sure what to make of that. Nothing else I've tried works either, but that not working (Always Correct!) seemed notable to me for that reason. Curious if anyone else is having any luck - no issues with framework I can see and logs appear to be running normally FWIW.

App settings; Lolistat; Youtube Adaway
work very well. I did not find others work yet.
When you flash the framework do the modules auto enable? I got a bootloop but I don't think its from the framework

greenify doesn't work. Always takes a bit of time to work after an xposed release.
Nexus 5 with Cataclysm ROM and ElementalX kernel. SELinux is permissive. Getting bootloop. Modules enabled were Gravitybox, BootManager and MaxLock.

Has YouTube AdAway been updated already somehow? It was the app giving me fatal errors in my logs earlier when I was getting bootloops and FCs. On Nexus 6 here, Benzo ROM Hydra Kernel
Great news.
@romracer
Thank you for Xposed for 5.1
Tested modules:
GravityBox LP - bootloop (bootloop solution, delete com.ceco.gravitybox folder from /data/app/ via TWRP)
Play Store Changelog - Play Store 5.4.10 FC's (delete app data does not help as on Android 5.0.2)
Xposed GEL Settings - bootloop (bootloop solution, delete de.theknut.xposedgelsettings folder from /data/app/ via TWRP)
BurnToast - OK
CrappaLinks - OK
Lolistat - OK
Does anyone know if Amplify module works? I won't be able to install the 5.1 xposed version, but I shall soon
btw @romracer, I believe you mentioned in the xposed github that you have a Moto X 2014. I do too, so I can presume that xposed will work on the device?
I had disabled all modules from the the Xposed Installer before flashing, yet for some reason when I flashed I got stuck in a bootloop caused by trying to load some long ago enabled modules.
I forgot to make a copy of the logs, so what I wanted to say is that you can delete/rename /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/modules.list to get out of bootloops caused by modules.
Obviously, this won't help if the framework itself isn't compatible with your ROM/device.
Working:
- Lolistat
- OGXposed (To login with OGYouTube)
- Advanced Power Menu
- YouTube Adaway
- Crappalinks
- Burntoast
- Maxlock
- MinMinGuard
Not working:
- Xposed Gel Settings
- GravityBox
- Amplify
- AcDisplay
All i know for now.
Using Euphoria 5.1 OnePlus One.
I recently found this method of getting past safety net without losing xposed mods: https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRo...y_have_found_a_workaround_for_the_pokémon_go/
I haven't tried it out yet, but I was checking to see if anyone had as I know that unrooting on the turbo is a dangerous prospect. Would this be recommended?

There's nothing dangerous about this, but it won't work. Magisk is incompatible with our devices, so forget anything involving that. In order for suhide to work, you need a stock marshmallow rom that will pass safetynet on its own, and we don't have that. Your best bet is to install the Resurrection Remix rom and use the iSu app that the dev made for it to hide the built in CM root, but you still won't be able to use xposed.
That worked until two days ago. Now safety net has patched it and isu doesn't work anymore. This is confirmed by BHB27.
So sad. I only got to enjoy android pay with cm13 for 3 days..

Lame. Well, Chainfire did warn us that this was a losing battle. I guess he was right.
Actually there's some light to the end of the tunnel lol It was some later changes that broke it. BHB is still figuring out what caused it.
But if you use isu1.2 and kernel 202.1 it still works (also must enable SE linux in the kernel editor). I didn't have to do all that to get it to work but for now this config still works..
But yes, this is a hard battle to fight.

Most modules are not upgraded since year 2013 ? Is it safe to use same ?
https://www.xda-developers.com/best-xposed-modules/
Most modules are not upgraded since ages ?
Yet the thread is posted as latest 2018 best modules ?
Tried all and mobile wont boot now.. lol..
I have results of latest modules displayed on the post, but not yet upgraded since ages.
Except greenfly or few.. Though listed..
Are these modules still safe to use with latest technology ?
Thanks,
Request reply from advanced person and request to pin after my reply.
I still love XDA but a question.
Noone on XDA team to reply same ?
ITs weird.. ?
Made other replies in respective topics..
But that is xposed and still xposed ?
UHHH..
It really depends on what Android version are you using.
Sometimes even if the modules are really old they still works.
You can try install them one by one, so if you end up in a bootloop you know exactly what module caused it.
In case of bootloop if you're using Xposed systemless just uninstall xposed module from recovey (with uninmod or magisk mm) and delete the xposed apps once it boots with xposed disabled
If you're using system version of xposed, browse from twrp to the modules folder and delete the module by hand
Or just search on xda, there are threads where people post which module works on each version of Android

Safe?? In general, yes. Module specific - no different than the day module was born.
Stability is a completely different animal with numerous variables in play using "latest technology". Do your homework; seek community input on modules in question. Know how to recover from module failures and bootloops. Maybe consider a backup; I heard they're a good idea.
Hi guys. I'm about to get this phone soon so coming from s9 plus (rootedwith xposed framework on android 8.0) I was wondering what's the status on this phone as far as xposed framework is concerned?
I don't see much people talking about it for this phone.
A few modules are a must have for me to the point of losing OTA or not having the latest OS doesn't bother me.
Modules I use:
Chromepie
Chrome selection patch
Exi for swiftkey
Undo
Wifi password
Gesture Navigation
Xposed edge pro
Text Aide.

I recently gave EdXposed a try and it worked just fine. I only wanted it for gravity box and most of the functionality there worked without issues.
I can't speak for the rest of the modules but this phone is almost entirely AOSP so most should work.

Did you use magisk to install it as a magisk module?
When I search for edxposed on magisk I see two versions I'm wondering which one to go with.

There's a dedicated thread for this from the magisk module info page. First install Riru core and then one of the 2 Riru edexposed modules. They differ in implementation. I used Sandhook method.
I used Xposed a lot 10 years ago, but I don't remember much of that time. Is it still worth it? Do Xposed and the modules still work nicely with Android 9 and 10 ?
I am thinking about it, because I want to change the scroll behavior of Android, using an Xposed module. And maybe, to look around for other Xposed modules...
Magisk does not have many modules that interest me.

Using xposed is a personal choice.
I am using a samsung S8 on android 9 using about 12 modules.
Rovo's version of xposed only works up to android 8 ( oreo ).
For 8 and up you will have to use Edxposed.
Edxposed will require magisk to be installed.
Edxposed will require 3 components
Riru core - download through magisk
Riru Edxposed - download through magisk
Edxposed manager

As to what modules that work It a bit hard to say you will have to try them out. Early modules may not work properly since they haven't been updated to newer android versions.
All modules are downloaded from the xposed repository ( using edxposed manager or website ).

Is VirtualXposed on the table by any chance?
I'm having noting but problems
I personally think the effort to get it running smoothly isn't worth it when Android 11 has exposed a few of the features that xposed granted users in the past. Also there are apps on the playstore and other sites that fill the gap to some degree.
One big one for me in the past was xposed edge, now I use edge gestures from the playstore, and it doesn't even require root let alone xposed.
