no,lenovo a7000 and a7000+ are different phones and will end up in a bootloop/bricked if non-compatible rom is flashed
A7000a and a7000 are basically the same(1.5ghz variant) but a7000 plus/turbo is different and u cannot flash the rom made for another device.
PS:if u got an a7000 plus you can flash all k3 note roms in it but an additional patch is rqd.refer properly and u can proceed with it.
Thanks for the information here. As a followup question, what recovery is compatible with A7000-a? Where can I donwload it?
Twrp is available.make sure that you flash the one made for your device.
We can change stock rom easily in lenovoA7000.then all the heating issues completely resolved..no worry u can change without PC.do Google do possible.
---------- Post added at 07:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 AM ----------
U can flash through rom installer or flashify without any dangerous reboots.
overy.Do Google do Anything if we think impossible.no worry u will didn't lose your phone.if happen we can safely recover this from backups.if u like it thumbs up or wrote your opinion.
Shouldn't it work?
From a purely academic standpoint, shouldn't the kernel work anyway? The core hardware is same, just a slight clock difference that can be configured when building the kernel. Or is the hardware that different?
Well, i've got the same issue and problem. Probably need to wait longer for another user of Lenovo a7000 Plus.

Helllloooo there i see u are really newbie here anyways
My advice to u is read and read and read a lot
flashing official and custom rom is easy as pie but ... u have to know what u are doing
i advise u to read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1034145
its a real help guide to all u need to know about our phone
anyways ... first use a software named odin to upgrade your phone to gingerbread ... its easy to use and some say even safer than official upgrade from kies
than flash that rom from a custom recovery!
you will have not hardware malfunctions
in time you know the difference in roms, what to do, how to do!
but until then ...
google
youtube
and that guide i gave u are your best friends!
keep up the good works anything ...
just ask
take care!
LEWA ROM suggestion
First advice as already given read a lot.. ..as informed first upgrade to ginger bread and then get a custom ROM for your phone.. I use LEWA ROM one of the best and stable..It has also got official support and every friday there is an update with improved features and bugs....
Dont be scared just be confident... on XDA we all are here to help!!!
Enjoy!!

there is no such thing.
And why don't you try it for yourself? you will get to experience it first hand. And if your scared then don't use odin or cwm or even rooting because there are always risks involved in these.

The SGSII v8.1 patch u r talking about is jst a patch for the COmplete v8 ROM. it has recently been updated to v9 and it really is a gud ROM the Battery life is also better in the LAtest Release and it is almost stock based so u won't find A WHOLE LOT of UI changes on your ACe jst additions, and the PErformance is also gud.
other than this, you can try the MIracle ROM it is also a wonderful ROM bt as it is performance based, u can't expect a battery life of 1 day
As you roam around the forums you will learn slowly by trying and testing stuff.
Ohh and ACTUALLY, there is NO perfect ROM
Hello i am new and i don't know anything about flash and install rom
Prerequisites:
- I speak very little English.
- I have Windows.
- I am from italy and i bought this phone in italy.
That said, I would put a rom in my phone and i don't want it bricked.
I would like the rom had an Android KitKat/Lollipop interface.
Can anyone give me instructions to put a rom in my phone? It isn't rooted and i don't want lost warranty/have a bricked phone.
Thanksss!!!!
There is no custom Rom for the 8200!

Hey everyone,
Sorry if I don't post this topic where it should be..
Recently, I bought a new phone and the rom that is has it's a little bit bad..
The phone is a XOLO Q800 wich in Romania, where I live, is called Allview P5 Quad.
So.. I don't like the ROM and I want to flash another one.
But, now comes the problem: when I try to flash any ROM, the imeis (imeis because it is a dual sim phone) are lost..
So, does anyone have an idea or a fix for this problem?
I have CWM recovery and root access.
Thank you
Have a nice day. :3
And sorry for my bad english

That phone isn't supported here (actually the first time I hear about it). Although, you might have more chance in the Xolo sub-forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xolo-q700
Now that being said, you'll need a ROM that supports dual sim and also has the right modem/radio. You might wanna find out which one the stock ROM has and look for them in the custom ROM (or simply put the stock one in the zip).

Plz check it again. That topic for Note5 Duos N9208, not for singgle sim Korea variant.
N920K and N920S ROMs can share each other's ROM?
You know what is problem? I can provide a ROM but not possible to update frequently. Once there is no regular update then some user push badly and never understand developer and keep spoiling thread..

We just need major updade, not frequently and quick update like international.
If you are only option to have custom Rom, I'm pretty sure they will not complaint, just praise you and your hard work.
N920K, N920S and N920L can share same rom, just different modem, bootloader which dev will not touch on any Note 5 variant
Devs shouldn't have to bother with different modem, bootloader, we the user can easily find that ourselves plus a dev has enough on their plate when creating a custom ROM.
There are a couple of Note5 ROMs available for which you're searching here on XDA.
The problem is some people don't bother reading and/or researching for their smartphone.
Good luck my friend.
Ok then I will look it soon. BTW which base you want to use K/S or L?
I will provide only one kernel on which ROM is based on. Users either use that one OR select custom kernel.
Now one of you may ask mod to close this thread and keeping dev section clean.
