Loop Device - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
Today i started to install linux on my phone and i found this app on the market:
Complete Linux Installer
So i installed it and went through the process and at first step i got this page:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So i have root but dont know if my kernel supports loop devices...so i googled it and found this:
Stack Exchange
I tried the answers but all the results was negative.
I also tried this app:
Loop Device Checker
And result was still negative:
I searched some kernerls but didnt found any mention their kernel supports this feature...
My question :
1_what kernel supports this feature?
2_can i do some tweak to add it to stock kernel?
INFO:
Xperia Z3 Compact
D5803
SliMM Rom
Android M
Srock Kernel (going to change it for this problem)
Locked bootloader (going to unlock it)

I need to know everything to NOT brick my phone

Hey guys, so a friend of mine just gave me this Xperia X8 (E15a) and Ive looked up some stuff I need to know before unlocking the bootloader in order to flash a different ROM.
So I am interested in this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1188486 (GingerDX).
I would like to install it?
What steps should I follow? Where is the best tutorial?
By the way, will I able to do this without bricking my device?

11W06 i think its okay to unlock
You are safe to unlock your bootlader But is optional for gingerdx as you can install without doing it, you only have to flash the one that tells for stock kernel

[Q] [ROOT] How to root new build 4.2.2? [HELP]

Hi,
So recently I got a firmware update for my Sony Xperia Z (C6606) for another Jelly Bean build. I can't seem to find any tutorials or ways to root build 10.3.1.E.0.191.. If anyone knows of anyway I can root this build, please let me (and most likely a lot of others) know.
I've already tried DooMLord's v17 and v18 which did not work.
I also tried rootkitZ and rootkitXperia, and neither of them worked too.
Here is a screenshot of the build and model:

[Q] app_process is active still seeing error message

Hey All!
I'm running an AT&T HTC One M8 <rooted, s-off, stock rom> , I am aware of the issue with the normal installation of Xposed, (must do an install from recovery).
I went through the proper steps and I see that app_process is active; however I am still getting the red lettered " The latest version of Xposed is currently not active..."
It is also showing Installed (version 2.6.1)
Any suggestions ?
"active" like this?

Yes exactly, is there something that I have overlooked in the process?

I guress that is the problem why it won't start up the wifi.
Does anybdoy knows a way to assign a MAC adress to your phone?
I accidently flashed the kowalski M1 Kernel for the old Bootloader not the new one.
I just flashed the new one over it and everything went fine

i also wanted to tell you that my bootloader is unlocked :
I'm a custom guy so if it were me, I would just install twrp, install custom rom like CM or custom based on stock. You should have a twrp recovery in place before tampering with build.prop
