SlimM for MT6582 is an aftermarket ROM made by the best in the class devs who prefer simplicity in their work. Hence, the name Slim. SlimROM for MT6582 is based on Google AOSP and it tries to keep it as stock as possible without much features which normal users don't want to use. Thus, creating a powerful ROM which packs a punch of performance, battery life and simplicity. Definitely recommended for for people who don't want much features from their ROM but just want simplicity and performance. You can use layers in this ROM as all AOSP 6.0.1 ROMs support layers but layers manager is not added by default, you can download "Layers Manager" app from play store in order to use layers. Install TWRP (FOR GV USERS FLASH THE A3300HV_A442_01_19_140827_ROW_GIBRIDE)
Download the ROM and Gapps
Reboot to recovery
Factory reset (FORMAT DATA, CACHE AND DALVIK CACHE)
Flash ROM and Gapps
Wait for the ROM to boot (For some user it may dont show the dialog ''Android is Optimizing'', just wait for ~10 minutes if you flash Gapps)
After the ROM boot, you will see you dont have navigation bar and the DPI seems too big.
Change the DPI and enable navigation bar in setting

NOTE : Download Subtratum from the Play Store

For GV's owner who get this error whil flashing ("ApplyParsePerms: lsetfilecon of /system/lost+found to u: object_r:system_file:s0 failed: Operation not supported on transport endpoint
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
update ended with error 7"), flash this using the included SP flash tool :

Make sure before you remove SD card if you have one before proceed....
Install the driver in the TabletPhoneDriver (make sure you choose the right architecture for your pc)
Turn off your tab
Open Sp flash tool in the SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1336.0.198
Click ''Scatter-loading''
The scatter file is in the target_bin folder. Open MT6582_Android_scatter.txt
Select option format all except bootloader . (Connect your device and wait for it to format your device)(But make sure you remove your sd card if you have one)
Press power and volume + and - at the same time and the connect your device. (Try other button combination if doesnt work) (If it still doesnt detect make sure you install the driver correctly)
Your pc will detect your tab and wait for it to complete)
After that choose ''Download''
Press the button combination and then connect your device (Wait for it to complete)
After complete, unplug your tab and then reboot to recovery
Clear cache, data and dalvik (FACTORY RESET) (If you see protect_f and protect_s were unable to mount, ignore it)
Reboot (Let the stock rom boot first)
After finish booting and you see Lenovo setup wizard, shut down your tab and then boot to recovery
You will see that the mounting problem is gone. Factory reset and then flash RR rom.
Done
For those who had NVRAM error (NVRAM WARNING ERR = 0x10) in the WiFi setting (also increase and decrease maximum and minimum volume), flash this in TWRP :

this rom is not properly stabile yet. when the screen goes off its automatically turn to landscape. then the volume rocker is not functional. its keep loud even i set to minimal.

Unless we build the rom from source, it would be impossible to fix it.
For now you can use xposed module "Screen Off Animation"

The same issue is present in even RR rom ported by @naimrlet, but thanks to this guy, we have now 3 custom roms for our device.

Thanks for everything you are doing for us. The only thing that keeps me on Stock, after using these custom rom's, is wifi stability. Wifi keeps dropping frequently, can't find any solution on google to get the wifi stability in custom roms, may be our device problem, or may be because rom is ported and not fully made for this device, i don't know, but still custom roms has a very good memory management feature.
I will try when you upload the RR 5.7.4

How to Enable ART

Here is my review on Lightning Speed Stable V3.
Wipe Data/Fact Reset, Cleared Cache and Dalvik, Formatted data, cache, system, SDCARD and Flashed V3 and gapps through CWM 6.0.4.5.
1) Booted Fine.
2) Initial Setup worked without issues.
3) No FCs (very important)
4) 3g and Wi-Fi hotspot worked.
5) Active Display Worked great.
6) Camera worked. (have the option of setting the location as internal/sdcard. Nice.)
7) Floating Multi Windows Worked great.(needed to install xposed framework from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1574401) Bubble launcher say's will expire in 10 days. May have to setup app bar via xblast tools.
8) Pie Control worked great.
Screen recorder is missing.

Secondly, don't take me wrong, but u should try ur rom first before proceeding, weather it's working or not.. Else no one will respect u n take ur work seriously.. Bugs r normal but it should bootable at least.. U must created the thread thereafter only..

First boot coming = 10 mins
Wifi = works ( randomly disconnect but i think its my router)
gapps = works
camera = works
video = no ( as stated in the op)(record for 1 second then finished)
bluetooth = seem like working, will test later,
SMS / call = works
Gallery = doesnt display anything it needs time to load
flash light = is working
Video playback (using file explorer and youtube) = works
Audio = works
Performance = suprisingly fluid
on first boot , my cpu shows 103C !!! so let it cool down before u do your thing
im using it stock with Govtuner mods

Install TWRP on FOTA partition. , i dont exactly remember the step using dd command , but you could always use the twrp manager from appstore to install

The first thing I think you should fix is limit thermal I hope I will send you my logs soon but in this time my thermal is arounding 90 degree ... too hot
my problem:
1. Double assess point
2. Supend when i use headphone and got a comming call
3. super hot when do some normal task
4. i must disable double taps to wake in kernel because when i hold my phone in my pocket it have a issue with swipe to unlock

OK, been using this for some time. I can say that this is waaaay better than 6.0 was on the first day. No lag or battery drain on standby, very good. Root also works, haven't checked supersu. There are some bugs here, 1 is major (or I'm doing something wrong):
Can't install any apk, it says "An error was detected. Operation was unsuccessful".
Other than stock file manager, none can detect external sd. Edit: Seems like only ES can't detect it Edit2: Seems like some can detect it some not, Root Browser also can't detect.
Pulling down notification bar from right side doesn't fully expand it.
There is double entry for APN in Cellular network settings.
When you tap Status bar icons in Status bar settings, there is FC, also "battery status style" and "battery percentage" doesn't do anything.
There is bug in trebuchet, see screenshot attached. Not present in other launchers.
No option for advanced reboot in Developer options.

Battery saver changing color is normal. Whether battery saver works or not it another question.

Bugs i encountered were:
SD card no access..so gallery,music shows empty
play services crash every 3 secs

I installed CM14 with 7.0 gapps using the twrp-3.0.2-0-yuga.img
But it doesn't boot to system, it goes back to TWRP
Any suggestions?
Formatted system, cache and data prior to flashing CM14

You can Xtract Boot.img from Rom and flashing via fastboot .Then Boot in to Recovery and flash Rom After this you can usw twrp Manger vor flashing twrp 3.0.2.0

Working.. I saw a cross sign inside the battery icon in the status bar ..
But when i turned on battery saver i experience lags .. and I can't turn on battery saver while charging..

The lag after letting the device unused for a bit still occurs , HDR seems to work , other than that , nothing weird occurred.

Radio works fine on this ROM too.

Restart and radio does not work, photo / camera has the problem of red and pink lines (like the other roms), I liked the customization options thanks , Y6 SCL-L01

Restart option in twrp? Mine works. Radio works to on SCL-L01. Camera I tested just a few (honestly I don't use it to much). I will take a look. It is a driver problem I think.

cm13 tree needs many work with camera, performance and battery drain. I guess Runner are working with it, but there is no any news from him.

No, the option to restart the OS.
Radio works to on SCL-L01.
In my SCL-L01 it does not work, when I plug in the headphones it shows a green screen and nothing else. (I don't use it really)
Camera I tested just a few (honestly I don't use it to much).
It is normal, most people do not test the camera beyond a few seconds, but the bug appears when you take pictures or record video after about 15 seconds, the problem is that the photos you take are left with red and pink lines too.
Right now I am using this ROM because the battery does not drain as fast as others, I like many customization options, thank you very much and apologize for the English I do not handle it well.

1.Restart doesnt work on all nougat roms and twrp.
2.I managed to make Radio work on mine by plugging and unplugging my headphones and pressing multiple times on the play button.
3.Camera works as same as on other roms, nothing much to say
I am using this ROM for now as i've noticed that it uses less ram and battery, it might be different for others though. Thx for porting rom for our device.:good:

Is there a problem with proximity sensor in calls with this ROM?

Hi guys , thanks for the ROM I'm using it since last 3 hours and I'm happy because I think give a better experience than original lollipop (stock) ROM.
I've a problem with my Carrier called kena mobile a virtual Carrier by Tim. I have not any HSDPA support neither activating the roaming data support from the relative menu. How can I solve?

1)Flash latest Orange Fox Recovery
2)Wipe dalvik cache, cache, system, data, vendor
3)Delete Android Folder on both internal storage and external SD card
4)Format Data (Optional, But if you dont format data there is chances of crashes like playstore etc)
(Click on menu button which is on bottom right side on recovery main screen, click on Manage Partitions, click on data, click on format, type "yes" , Drag the Slider)

this rom is pretty stable and can be used as a daily driver
i found some minor bugs...
1.Reading mode is not working
2.Booting time is very long while compared with stock and i need sit back and relax(not only 1st,on every boot)
3.Control center is lagging sometimes,but it works good

You not did what we told in instructions, there is no issues what you reported

Wipe all your partition , except micro sd
Use orange fox latest and install rom then magisk
Reading mode is working and booting times is as quick as stock.. not a single lag is there In rom,
If you are facing it , its your mistake not mine.. many others are using it and nobody face the issues you reported.. so check yourself , don't report flase

I am not facing any issues which you mentioned,
First boot takes 8 mins, its common when you clean flash, after that 2nd boot and so on... Will be faster than stock rom.
Reading mode working perfectly
Control center is so smooth and no lags at all

1. Does it have any Call Echo problem?
2. Is loudspeaker works ? without Echo.
3. Does Mic have enough gain? ( v4 had this problem, when using loudspeaker mic gain was really low every time, person at other end couldn't hear my voice properly.)
Looking forward to use it as my daily driver.

Firmware means it have modem files and all, Xiaomi update it time to time.
It have a seperate thread here in Xiaomi rom and kernel , kindly search and install

We made it stable like stock Miui, you can know about it yourself , there is a telegram group you all can join there for more help.. if mic gain create issues it can be increased but I don't think you need it.. if needed we can increase it..

You unable to login in Vietnam, then get any rom you have there on pie and replace your Xiaomi account app from that roms app.. maybe mi create different app for Vietnam.. :crying:

The problem with VoLTE is that outgoing calls are broken when your operator enforces VoLTE.

Flashed everthing is working smoothly(2x faster than RR rom)
Only problem with setting>system = setting crashes

Doesn't happen on my device... Does it happen after a reboot? Do you have GApps installed? If yes, which package is it? There could be many reasons, logs would be helpful.

Strange, I don't have this issue... Also, did you dirty flash this from RR? If you did a dirty flash from RR, then you probably need to do a clean flash...
Edit:Logs would be helpful for the dev to figure out what's causing it...

Does copy-paste, creation and deletion of files and folders work too?
As you can see, I'm able to access the system section without crashes, so, please clean flash and then report back with the results...

And mtp fully functional for me, delete,copy,cut etc everything working.
Edit( sorry for late info.) : before clean flash , i checked settings in guest mode everything working properly in crdroid. May be my data from RR rom causing problem in crdroid rom settings.

Great! Also, just remember that you can dirty flash an OS if and only if the OSes are the same, for example you can dirty flash a newer version of RR on an existing installation of RR, but dirty flashing a different rom can cause things to break, so, just keep this in mind during dirty flashing...

Just Amazing !!! Installed crDroid after trying LOS 18.1 and have no words for the speed & Performance of this rom highly optimized and customizable far better than RR (I also have tried ur RR rom) but faced some issues comparing with Stock Rom and I know I have to accept those issues,
* My tab's voice, lol (DOLBY Atmos) (is there any way to get it back ???)
* Notification Light not working in this Rom , donno why but it was working in all other Roms (RR, LOS 16, LOS 17, LOS 18)
* Green Thumbnails for Videos, difficult to Identify Videos in Gallery
* Unable to to post videos on INSTAGRAM
* Dim Imaging while using camera other than Default mode (dim in portrait and Video mode,, not sure if it was in other tried Roms)
**** Major Issue is restarting of Apps Sessions on every task switch (happens in all tried roms)
and more will be discovered later in the future,, Not ALL the issues described above related to this Rom Just Expressing my Experience of using ROMS for this Device for new comers

Dolby should be possible to add to the ROM, but I think I should extract it from the stock ROM first. I'm not sure if it's device-specific.

For sound(voice ) you should go with viper4android.
All los based roms have green thumbnail issue according to my experiences.
And restarting of apps on task switch is due to low memory(setting>system>developer>memory only 400-500mb free for task other than system):-solution may be help you :- try to use less customization , clean ram and remove unnecessary tasks , kill background services and tasks.
And yes notification light not working except in charging case.

If u can then plzz go for it ,, its the major issue ,,, but I dont think it will work ,, I have tried lots of time to install dolby by magisk but it didnt work at all.

I have tried v4u before (in RR and Los 17) but its nothing in comparison with Dolby sound (high sound)
nd Notification light is not working in all condition even while charging (but was working in RR and LOS before),, may be something went wrong while installing crD by myself !!

Try viper4android, it works nicely, and also, implementation of Dolby into the rom itself and installing it via magisk is completely different...

Also, android 11 is available for this device now!
