If you take a look at the zip file you will know that it's not flashable
You can either replace those files manually or just put them into Ringtone/Notification folder

[APP][CAMERA] LGE Camera no AF Sound

Alright, I know you've been waiting for this one. This is the V20b ArcCamera that has an option to disable shutter sound... and now NO AUTO FOCUS sound too. Modified by yours truly.
This can be used with V20n (Tested). I just don't know if others can too (V20's).
No quality is lost, just a disabled Auto Focus sound... Enjoy!
Flash the zip in CWM, or extract and push the apk in system/app and set permission to 644 (rw-r-r).

can we switch it on and off when we want or is it permanently disabled? and how different is it from this .... sorry just wanna get a clearer picture =)
Whoops... what a late news for me. I guess it's the same.
This one came from V20b which has the option to disable shutter sound. Only AF is permanently disabled. That one (link) I guess is both disabled permanently as it cam from v20n that when deodexed losses the option to disable shutter sound.
Ahh ok ok was just trying to figure out the diff. Thanks dude!

The AF sounds (.ogg). both success and fail sound. Get an empty file and delete the original .ogg's. Then rename the empty file to the ones you deleted and put .ogg in the end. So when camera finds the sound it would be empty/no sound.
AFAIK, MIUI camera has options to mute sounds. I tried it and it was completely silent.

I see... I didn't test it thoroughly but that explains why thy woman got angry as I wasn't replying. Cause I lost the sound of the tones and i have SMS.
Thanks, great in V20-O
can you please make the v20s too? because the v20s camera is different. I'm using supressed 7.2 which is based on v20s..
I'm trying to edit ArcCamera.apk, using winzip, replace the .ogg files with empty file, but when pushing back the apk to system, the system cannot read that as an application.. trying to restart my launcher, the camera isn't there yet.. am I doing something wrong?

Use camera/source that are available like this one. Makes no difference.

Try to download app from the market.. many apps there could give you the freedom of set as a ring tone or notification tone .. But I don't know how to create it as a build in the ROM it self

Thanks for suggestion, I will try. but if there is a way to create own folder like ICS do, it would be great
Hey
You can take ringtones from other roms and add it to the ics or jb roms...
1.select the ringtones of the rom you what to copy
Goto the downloaded rom, double click it,open system then goto media and copy the audio folder(or the tones you what)
2.select the rom you what them in
Goto the rom you what them in and paste the set or files in appropriate locations
After that flash the rom again...doing the wipes...
That's one method..the other is u copy the files to internal memory card
In the internal memory card there'll be a folder named "media"
Open it and create a folder as "Ringtones" and paste the tones there...
I haven't tried the second method but the first one works for sure...i have done that one..
Hopes this sorts your problem
Cheers

It also may depend on what build you're using. I had troubles losing my custom tones -- in one instance, an incoming call started flashing onscreen but it was silent. And i know a custom tone was set minutes before. But after the call, sound settings tones flipped to unknown, sdcard tones weren't in the pulldown menu, and Gallery was empty of pics. Right now, they seem to stick with pawitp's 0723 build, but are just a tad slow to show after a reboot.

[Q] How can add sound of S4 in my Galaxy?

How can I add sounds of s4 in my phone? Just sounds .. rightone, alarms, etc..
there are many ways.. first i would probably try to download them with application called "zedge"
The best way I know is really easy....
All you need is any Root Browser and the S4 ringtones.....
Go to System > Media > Audio folder... There copy/paste the Ringtones in ringtones folder... And notification tones in Notification folder....

To replace the background stock image?
This app it's ok?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sImNvbS5zcGVlZHNvZnR3YXJlLnJvb3RleHBsb3JlciJd
Yeah that app is OK but free ones are also good... Like Root Explorer Lite....
To change the wallpapers just download them and use Gallery to set them as your wallpaper....
If you want to replace the stock wallpapers with S4 wallpapers then that's a bit complicated process... It requires you to decompile secwallpaperchooser.apk and manually add the wallpapers.... Although 7zip can also be used.....

This is a separated .zip from my theme. It contains only the Galaxy S4 Sounds.
Just mount /system and /preload, then flash.
http://d-h.st/PEy
P.S. You can find a Gallery app on my Advance Galaxy thread with all S4 Wallpapers. It's located on the separated files too. Search that thread, it has many goodies.

Yes thats how i thought it had to be done but after some digging around the location is actually /system /customize / resource. Also the name of the zip must be changed to htc_bootanimation.zip
A bit of a troll to work out but once i changed it to another animation it cleared up all the issues with slow bootup on that rom. interesting, no idea how that works...

On all Sense ROMs, the location of the bootanimations is /system/customize/resource and then change bootanimation whatever the original bootanimations name was, finally set permissions.
On AOSP/AOKP ROMs, the bootanimation is in /system/media

[SoundPacks]Change your phone sounds with one click !!!

Hello all xda members this feature (soundpack) has been added for most of CM11 ROMS
So i wanted to share some packs with you and make a thread for this feature for all and learn you how to make it by your own
Important: those files will only work with ROMS that have soundpack option in setting > sound
like: SOKP ROM , ACIP ROM ,SpiritRom ,Beanstalk ROM ,OMNI ROM ,PAC-MAN ROM ,AOSB Project : those i have tested it by my hand
i will give a method for ROMS that dont have
it is tested on Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100G and I9100:Thanks @ammarsg
How to install ?
you should have SoundPacks folder in your internal memory
so simply copy the zip files to soundpacks folder
then go to setting > sound > sound packs > install sound pack > and choose the one that you copied
and finally select sound pack >and choose your pack
That's It
How to install for devices that don't have sound pack option in setting > sound ?
1- extract all the zip files except those three 1-audio_assets.xml 2-video_off.ogg 3-video_on.ogg
and copy it to your ROM zip file > system > media > audio > ui and make a replace
(using your phone by X-plore or Sold explorer or root explorer - i prefer those - ) or (using computer by 7-zip or WinRAR )
2- boot to recovery and flash your rom (don't need full wipe just like update )
then flash your gapps then wipe catch and Dalvik catch
3- reboot
How to make your own ?
1- you will need to change the name of the pack in _audio_assets.xml_ file
2- get your wanted sounds with .ogg format and name it like the files in the zips
3- make it as a zip or replace it with one of the packs zip
4- you make one ? put it here and give it to your brothers
How to unistall one you don't like ?
1-you will need any file explorer like : X_Plore , Sold explorer ....
2-you need to be very careful and go exactly to : Root > data > system > soundpacks
3-Here you will find your installed packs so simply uninstall the one that you don't want .
more and more are coming :good:
